Good product, inexpensive and lots of features.
Great product, worth the purchase price. This thing is super easy to install. Its possible downside is that it requires a wired connection and disables your existing chime. In both case, it fits what I want, since I didn't want a battery that I'd have to recharge / replace, and the chime in my house causes the dog to bark. It's great if you've existing Alexa devices, as they will tell you when someone is there. Even better if one of the Alexas has video screen.

Free Amazon Echo turns out to be a Treasure!!
Received the Echo free with purchase of a Ring doorbell. They pair easily and I had no idea how useful the Echo could be. I don't use it for Amazon purchases, but I do like the fact that it announces when someone is at the front door and then shows you who!! Nice speaker for music. Alexa is helpful with ordinary questions and setting reminders.

Amazon Echo show 5 is a great device. I was thinking of buying a bluetooth speaker, but this has everything, a camera for security, speaker, alexa, bright screen.

Works well, but it is a bit small. It came with the Ring Doorbell 2nd Gen for free when you purchased both items. Also has decent sound quality.

Get one!
I actually got this echo free with the purchase of my ring stick up cam. I was skeptical at first but my whole family loves it. It controls my lights,plays music,is used as a timer, arms my alarm. What doesent it do?

Use it all the time now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this echo show to basically use as a simple clock next to my bed. But it does so much more! Yes…It will wake me up to my favorite song in the morning! Afterward, I will ask it to give me the news. Later in the afternoon, it will lead me into a guided meditation to alleviate my stress. That night, I can watch my Netflix shows on it. And then later, I can pick a soothing sound to go to sleep by. One night it was a jungle rain shower that lulled me to sleep. The next night it was ocean waves. In between it doing all those things, It runs through pictures of my family which makes me smile. I don’t know what I’d do without it now. Highly suggest buying this! PS….you can turn off it’s cameras and microphone if you don’t want it “snooping” on you all the time!

Small, but great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Alexa for a number of years to control lights and switches. I thought this would go great on my desk, in my office. I like that I can use it to "drop in" on the kitchen Show 8, to talk to my partner and it even shows our baby monitor(after I set it up correctly, with the right "skill"). Would recommend where you don't need a big screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my new Echo Show!! Have had a couple of Echo Dots in the house, but I must say, this is even better. In combination I now have music throughout the house! I am still learning all of the features, but gosh, you can watch TV, send pictures, view recipes, and listen to music. Love the words in the screen so I can sing along. In the morning it flashed the hourly forecast so I knew what to expect. I know I can control lights etc, but haven't gotten that far yet. Very fun addition. Would make a great gift!!

Great addition to the kitchen

We love Amazon Echo Show!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiancé and I have been using the Amazon Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) for a few weeks now. IT’S AMAZING! My fiancé isn’t very tech savvy, but even he’s managed to work the Echo Show with ease. We’ve uploaded pictures to it, so it works as a sort of changing picture frame. The voice recognition works really well, even from far away. The smart plug also works amazingly. We use it for our box fan. You can control the smart plugs with the Amazon Alexa app as well, which means you can control things even when you aren’t home. I highly recommend!

Super fun and very useful...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last few weeks the Amazon Echo Show 5 has become my best friend. Being stuck at home with my significant other working 15hour days it's been rather enjoyable having "someone" to talk to that actually listens and "talks" back lol. Right out of the box the Show was easy to setup and get going, connected without any hiccups to home Wi-Fi and my Prime account, and also my paid streaming services.
The viewable screen size is adequate for my needs with great vivid colors and clarity. The adjustable volume is loud enough to rock the house without blowing out windows-not very tinny sounding, and voices sound normal not robotic or cartoonish. Customizing the screen with your own photos from your Amazon account is appreciated but the continuous "tips" and latest news popping up is quite annoying.
And the most fun part...being able to view what you're asking Alexa to do. Having the Show in the kitchen I can ask Alexa to show me recipes, with videos even! Playing songs with lyrics scrolling I can karaoke until the cats howl along. Weather, news (if you really want to know lol), and so many skills for trivia and entertaining tidbits that I haven't even discovered yet I'm sure. Inspirational daily quotes, ordering things I've run out of, and even Sample Me offers all in one small device. Paired with my Amazon Smart plug I can even tell Alexa to turn on/off lights.
There hasn't been any lag issues, but sometimes the wrong song gets pulled up or a video from a different site is chosen instead of the one I requested. Oh and if your electricity goes out in a storm like mine has at least 5 times this month the Show does remember everything to get back online, no re-entering passwords etc..win win :)
All in all having an Alexa with "a face" has been super enjoyable and I look forward to discovering more skills and things the Echo Show 5 can do (as well as the things I've already been using daily)

Great little Echo

The entire family loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a lot of Amazon devices in our home, but this is our first Echo Show. The Echo Show 5 is a game changer in our house. The kids loves seeing old family pictures we have linked to Amazon Photos, my husband's a big fan of the detail that comes back when he asked a question (sports and news are his favorite), and I really enjoy the recipe suggestions along with the videos and step by step guidelines to create a new masterpiece in the kitchen! The sound quality and picture are really good as we have been using the Echo Show 5 as a speaker in the kitchen as well for Amazon Music. My only complaint is the 5" screen is a bit small for me. You know what that means... we will be buying the 12" version soon as a replacement for the Kitchen. The kids are already fighting over who gets to have the Show 5 in their room. I highly recommend getting one (or two) of these for your house.

Super awesome!

So this is a different t ball game to me. But the first thing that I have to say I love is the screen. It is large and has beautiful quality. I love that I can seee what I'm asking about and that I c. Portray my own pictures onto the screen as a Screensaver.
