Such a usefulness gadget for the house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Amazon Echo Show 8 daily and it’s become such a helpful part of my day. The screen size is not too big, not too small and the display is clear and bright. I love using it in the kitchen for recipes, timers, weather updates and music while I cook.
The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, and Alexa responds quickly to voice commands. I also use it for reminders, alarms and controlling smart home devices, which makes everything feel more organized and hands-free.
Setup was easy and once it’s connected, it runs smoothly. I’m not a tech person but it was truly simple. Overall, it’s very convenient, practical and great for everyday use. I would definitely recommend it for the kitchen, living room or even a bedroom.

Best speaker and love the larger screen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving our new Amazon echo show 8. As you can see it’s much larger screen from what we used to have which we like cause we can see our pictures better on it like a digital frame. The speaker is larger and much more clear, hearing music on it is amazing, why even buy a separate speaker.
Set up was easy and Alexa has many more new features. Easily compatible and can use on your phones app and do stuff on there.
Only thing I don’t like it no longer has a slit to cover the camera because we don’t like it always open and it does t have a button for volume either but that you can easily tell it to lower or raise.

Smart house

I use her too play music which has great sound. I also use her as a kitchen timer. She is very sturdy and in my opinion worth the price. If you looking for something with a nice screen and picture quality this is for you.

The best!

My Own Personal Hands Free Assistant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had one of these and at first I was a bit skeptical, due to me feeling it was an invasion of privacy. But I love it! It is so useful and it’s like having a hands free assistant for everything I need. It connects to the majority of my devices and I can use the app when I’m away from home. I’m even thinking about getting additional ones for other rooms of the house.

A really nice upgrade!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this new model, I had a previous model with a way smaller screen, I set it up on my kitchen and now is way easier to watch and follow recipe videos, the new Alexa voice is way more “natural”, the speaker is amazing and I can listen to music all the way to the living room, I also found very nice the set up of multiple profiles in one, with the face recognition feature it know who is walking by and offer options that this specific person might be interested in.

Easy setup, love the look and feel, wish the scree

The packaging was efficient - I liked that there was no wasted cardboard (the pieces that were there kept the device protected. The device look and feel is very sleek and simple - reminds me of my Google home as well. The sound quality is so clear. Setup was a breeze - especially since I already own an Alexa device. I was given the option to duplicate my settings from my other devices. So easy. The display screen is great - very clear. The size is decent. I wish the screen could be adjusted to tilt up though because when standing, it’s a bit inconvenient to read the screen. The device is currently on my dresser but it’s not a tall dresser at all. Having the option to tilt the screen would have been the cherry on top

I love my Amazon Eco show 😍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE LOVE IT ! we play music on it , my kids watch youtube on it, we can use the internet to look things up like a regular tablet or phone. the screen is the perfect size on it. the speaker works very well ; very loud & i love how the bass is adjustable when playing music. i also love how you can add different accounts / profiles on it so whoever is on it won't mess up anyone else's account. you can text, call & video chat whoever has the alexa app on their tablet or phone. you can live view the security camera. it's also easy to hold & carry around because of how big the speaker is. it's easy to use & it's kid friendly when learning to navigate the apps on the device. i don't know if i am able to add a lock or password on it as i have not tried. but i do like how u can basically use your phone to navigate it with the alexa app as well. it's really so easy to use. you just can't use google on it which is a non issue in my opinion. you also can't take pictures on it but you can display pictures on it when you connect your phone to it. i also love how you can use headphones with it when you want some privacy as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cool I love everything about my gifted echo 8 im so excited even my kids we love the web cam and camera we took so many photos already the speaker is crisp and loud enough the design is so elegant and fits my decor for where it will ultimately be place which is in my book room ❤️. I love how you can customize so many different areas and add each family member for it to recognize who's asking to make sure its contents are appropriate. Connecting my phone and my govee lights around my house was a quick and easy set up.

Large screen, works awesome.

The screen is huge and it has so many cool features. I like the new Alexa voice. It sounds more real. I also like that you can talk more naturally to it than older Amazon devices. I’ve had it set out on my desk and my pictures just scroll through all day and it makes me so happy. I love it!!

I love my Amazon Echo Show 8!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set the Echo Sho 8 up in my kitchen. It was very simple to set up. Took all of my information from my Prime account and connected to my WiFi instantly. I love that I can ask it to show me recipes, for example, chicken, and it brings up several recipes I can choose from and save to my library. I am able to watch Prime Videos and Netflix movies/shows, the sound is amazing, crystal clear, the screen is big and the colors are wonderful, quality of the screen is great. I’m still learning everything it can do but so far I’m very pleased with it. I’d give it 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this thing can do anything. The sound quality is amazon for such a small thing. Im in love with this. Play all the music you want. Upload pictures and it will show them in like a slide show. Ask Alexa to purchase something she can. I have an appoinment she lets me know. I can set an alarm it goes off. I tell her to play music at a certain time and it does. Its sports the time the weather the degrees. This does everything. Set a timer it will go off. I can look up recipes and watch them on how to do them. Arts crafts I can ask Alexa and she shows me. This is a nice home add. I feel my privacy is safe with this. The display is nice and clear. Font is good size. Volume goes up and down alot. So I can play my music nice and loud or quit. The camera is nice and crips clear.

Fun addition

It’s really convenient to have a screen for things like weather, timers, and video calls, and I love how easy it is to pull up recipes while cooking because it makes following along so much simpler. The speaker is a big plus too, sounding great and loud enough to fill a room when listening to music. I also like how responsive it is to voice commands and how well it works as a smart home hub. That said, the interface isn’t the easiest and can feel a bit tricky to navigate at first. Overall I really enjoy using it, but I’m taking a point off just because the navigation can be confusing in the beginning.

Cool features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This is my first Amazon echo product or assistant product in general. With the world moving more towards AI, I can appreciate this product, as I’m open to the movement. Having help with small tasks like adding items to a shopping list help make life easier.
The Amazon Echo 8 looks super sleek. It seems very durable. The sound quality is amazing for a tiny item. I prefer listening to music from this item compared to my speaker in my fridge.
Setting up the echo didn’t take too long. It was easy to connect to my Amazon account. You can load your photos, contacts, etc. I love that it automatically imported all my smart home devices.
My favorite feature is the drop in device. I am taking care of my mom, who is hard of hearing, so this allows me to communicate with her if she doesn’t have her phone on her. It allows you a sort of FaceTime function.
I think I will end up moving this to my kitchen, because I saw a function for recipes. Excited to continue exploring all that this device has to offer.
If you’re looking for a smart home device and if you use Amazon Alexa, this would be a great device for you. Thanks for the opportunity to try!

Good Enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the product for a few days and it has been fun trying out and learning about the different features. I do own other echo products, and the Show 8 seems to have the same features plus some.
Pros:
- I really like the large display. Pictures are clear and bright. I was able to watch some shows without lag and good quality.
- The speaker is very loud. I enjoyed listening to music on full volume. I also appreciate the buttons on the side, makes it easier to control when I don't want to ask Alexa. There is also the usual DND button.
- Alexa is more intuitive. There is "follow-up" mode which makes "talking" with Alexa more natural. I can prompt her awake once and be able to make multiple requests as needed.
Cons:
- I used the drop in feature and the video quality could be better.
- There is an option to disable the camera but I would prefer to have a physical shutter over the camera itself.
- The screen can be laggy at times when switching through screens.
Overall, it's a helpful and intuitive productive. I would like a but more personalization when it comes to the home screen (such as making my calendar a default) but that's just me. Sounds quality is excellent, as well as the display when it comes to watching videos and the screen itself. Alexa is more intuitive, but I also appreciate the option of "brief mode", where Alexa doesn't talk as much. Not a bad product. 8/10.
