A great laptop
It’s only been a couple weeks and I love this laptop. I’m not a hard gamer so I think this meets the requirements I need for the types of games I play AND is great for my classes. Super smooth and responsive, I love the keyboard and the look and feel. Before this I had a clunky old Asus ROG laptop that I initially got for 3D Animation and I was surprised with how light this current laptop is in comparison, definitely better on my back! Overall I’d say it’s a good sub for a PC but of course it does depend on the types of games you play and the settings you prefer.

Fast enough to handle most games, minecraft..eh..the game uses cpu instead of gpu making it decent enough to play but not high fps with ray tracing.

Amazing upgrade that will last 2 or 3 years
It’s a great upgrade to my desktop to what I had I went from a 1650 súper to a 3050 and it’s great it’s a amazing update I know it has its flows bc it only had 8gb of ram on the gpu but It’s amazing I can do everything now sometimes my old pc usted crash and now it doesn’t so it’s a great upgrade and im happy with it

Starting where we as gamers and wishers always do the looks are very nice we'll thought out design was just about dead on , gave you a polished looking gaming pc without breaking the bank while not to over the top to niche,but no one would look at it and say just another pc . That being said more important than looks, the one peace of hardware that's eathier gona leave them satisfied with even a mediocre pc or leave them with a bad taste in their mouth . That's right (wifi connection) are you gonna have to sit on top of the router to even play a 2d game like quake . The answer is no way it can be enjoyed anywhere I can't praise that enough. And I'm not saying this next bit or any of it because they gave me anything but because this is my 2nd rog . If you Wana go that little extra bit get a asus router ,alot of customization options even making your own hidden private locked network within the router itself giving you first dibs on Fast so many options its insane. Next reliable AAA+ . upgradability, do it yourself o PHD required. Easy AAA+ . And every gamer hates to spend a lot then see it go obsolete in 2 years . Get the pc upgrade it with quality parts that won't leave you eating romen for A month for getting a little more ram , and it's a 40 min job o. Just about any upgrade with no experience. AAAAAA+ . you will have a pc that you won't stay up til 4am trying to find new software to make it run a little faster. storage , what it lacks in it more than makes up for in quality and performance at very little cost. Well honestly I could go on and on , but I'm just gonna say 1 more thing , if you're looking you're gonna buy , always buy quality over quantity. You will be happy with this ROG.

Great graphics
would have given 5 stars but I was unable to download the game I play most often, Second Life. The firestorm viewer had trouble with something on the ASUS ROG. Once I worked around it the graphics were amazing and I was able to play the game without any trouble. Which is almost unheard of in Second Life.

Initial Observation
The two biggest flaws this has are: 1) To remove/replace the battery you have to remove the back of the laptop. 2) The sound volume is at least 6db lower than it should be, if you want to listen to a song or watch a video you have to crank the volume to the max and hope that you'll have enough volume to override the background noise (with or without noise cancelling headphones/ear buds).

I enjoy it for its price.
It runs very well with minimum issues. It lacks a Webcam which is the biggest issue so far with it. I greatly enjoy the large screen and I love the colors and color options for the keyboard and back glow. It has a sleek design and can handle a good amount of work load without lagging.

Decent laptop. The 1080 IPS screen is good for gaming & watching movies but lacks the simple pixels to web browse correctly when viewing word texture. I also have the Zenbook Duo Pro Qled & noticed the difference in screen quality immediately. Will only be using this laptop for Serato Dj & light gaming so I guess it's ok...
