Great Smart Lock
I’ve had this lock for a few years now, and really enjoy overall. Overtime, I’ve changed how I use it though. The “Auto Unlock” feature when you get home seems nifty, but you need to give unlimited access to your location which I don’t love and stopped using. Also, Wifi function is cool, but cuts the battery life down to 3 months. I only use the Bluetooth feature now, and battery can last 9-12 months. I’ve paired it with the Number Pad, which I use most days and easier to give to friends/family. I find most people not interested in downloading an app to open my door, so a code is nice. Now don’t have to hand out as many keys.
I ended up buying a few for family members so now I can unlock their doors with the app.
It would be better with a rechargeable battery or more standard size. That’s the only issue

Love it!!
After trying to decide how to lock my house (keypad vs no keypad) I decided to go with the August Lock. It’s easy to install, and I used my existing lock, so no extra hardware needed. All you have to have is WIFI, and you can use your house key as a back up. Would highly recommend!

Great Wi-fi door lock
This is an excellent Wi-fi door lock! Easy to use! The installation was simple. The app is really easy to use & the door opens so perfectly! I highly recommend this if you don’t want to carry your key! Great for Apartments or homes!

Perfect Lock
I had trouble finding a smart lock that would work on my door since they are too deadbolts. I found this lock after much Research. It has worked perfectly installation was very smooth. I ran into one problem and called the company and they quickly walked me through it. It is great I can see what time my son gets home from school and unlocks the door. It has given me a piece of mind. Money well spent.

I bought this item a couple of weeks ago. Very easy to install and so easy to use. You can unlock your door from your phone no need to use a key any more. Its the best.

switched from Google Nest to this lock, and it works great. It’s easy to track whether my husband or I forgot to lock the door, so there are fewer arguments now.

Been working great, my 2nd august
Had this for over a year, inly negative is the batteries. They need a special one which cost more, however they do last for a while. Great thing with this lock is that you cannot tell from the outside that their is a smart lock, and you cannot tell still use a key. Also no subscription is needed

August Locks
Nearly 9 years and counting with August locks. My lastest one with WiFi built in is awesome. So nice to allow others time limited access or unlimited access. You are in control! Highly recommend these locks for personal homes, elderly parents, rentals.

Love the August lock.
We’ve been using this lock for just over a year and love if. Very easy to install and the app works great too. I also bought the Yale keypad for it, which also works great.

Company and lock is great
I bought the lock years ago and there hasn’t been any issues with the second one. The first one had some problems at the start and the company sent me a brand new one, no questions asked. This was before they were bought out/ merged.

Awesome features
I had used Level lock in the past and then transitioned to the August lock. I love how it automatically unlocked the door as I get to the house and also the ability to lock and unlock no matter where I am. I have not had any problems with this lock and it would highly recommend it

The best lot money can buy.
I am a huge fan of the August smart lock. After using a different brand, I can confidently say that the August lock is worth every penny.
