New Avanti 19 freezer.
The Avanti 19 is a much needed addition to our kitchen. It’s got plenty of room,works quietly and doesn’t take up much room and is energy efficient. We love it.

Perfect 2nd freezer!!
My husband is on his 8th month of Nuti system diet. Every time he makes his purchase of frozen food our regular freezer space in our side by side refrigerator is filled to the max. The Avanti freezer is the perfect size to have as a 2nd freezer. We placed it in the basement and now my husband even loses more weight going down to the freezer in the basement.

Nice little freezer.
Since I'm retired and living alone with a cat, I don't need a lot of freezer space. This size is ideal. I've installed some long narrow plastic bins so I can pull them out and view the contents. Nothing is hidden or forgotten in the back. The shelves are 5 inches high except for the bottom one which is 8 inches high. Everything freezes quickly. Overall, I'm pleased with my little freezer.

The freezer is very compact and freezes very well. It's strong. And even though you have to adjust the knob sometimes, it's very dependable. And does the job very well. And the price was very good. And I'm very happy with it and it's satisfying on my needs.

Helpful
This freezer was helpful while my own refrigerator was being replaced. The shelves were well arranged for my needs. Now that I have a new refrigerator I intend to gift the freezer to my daughter whose family needs extra freezer space. I only wish the setting wasn't behind the freezer as it was difficult for me to move when in place as it lacks rollers; probably so that it can be mounted on top of another surface and not slide.

Not as good as prior model
The temperature control is in the back, so you have to pull the freezer away from the wall. My last Avanti freezer had drawers, which made stocking the freezer much easier. If you don't put things in carefully, they slide out.

Disappointed
There is nothing great about this freezer. It is poorly designed, with the thermostat at the back, on the bottom of the freezer. The thermostat is tiny, and the numerals can barely be seen. It is extremely light weight, and it moves when I open the door. There should be some sort of built-in weight inside, to prevent this from happening. When the compressor turns on, there is a great deal of heat on the outside. I believe that a little more insulation might help.
