Space saving deaign
Slimlike space saving design perfect for apartment or secondary fridge. First well under overhead cabinets with plenty of storage space inside. Full gallons can fit in door shelf and has 6 individual can holders on door as well. Glass shelves for easy cleaning and 2 crisper drawers. Freezer is a bit small but adequate . Delivery was a breeze, having old unit carted away. The sales person, Glenn Hopkins, at Riverhead P. C. Richards, was not only professional but totally knowledgeable in offering me my best choice. Highly recommend shopping there and specifically asking for Glenn's assistance.

Good, Quiet Fridge for a Small Space
This refrigerator is ideal for a small kitchen with limited existing space. (Measure twice, buy once.) It's spacious inside, though, and whisper quiet. The door shelving is handy and the space intended for six soda cans (or beer) is just as useful for condiments in jars. The LED light is quite bright. The freezer temperature is separately adjustable for keeping that ice cream not rock solid, not mushy, but right for a perfect scoop.

Surprisingly, enough room (vs previously owned larger cu ft refrigerator) and Avanti's freezer and fridge work very well too. No disappointment with this purchase. This was the only size (height, width and depth) that would fit under kitchen cabinets' space.

The little engine that could
Got this 24-inch Avanti as a loaner from when delivery of a much bigger and fancier fridge fell though at the last minute. Liked it so much I'm buying it even though it has no bells and whistles. (Not even an ice maker - I now use ice trays.) Keeps good temperature. Two control dials, that's it. One in fridge, one in freezer.
Simple and a little retro, friendly lookig with no handles. Bottom bins pull all the way out to go on counter if needed. (A friend has had the bottom-freezer version of this refrigerator for years and is happy also.)
It's really not very big for two people but I live in NYC where food stores are everywhere and there's a shortage of refrigerators. For me and my husband, in these times, it just works.

Is there any special installation for this refrigerator?
No, the only thing that may be a consideration is that it comes out into the room a little more than what I had had before. I don't mind, I just like having more room inside. It works really great and can be kept at the 2nd highest setting for the refrigerator and it freezes food and ice cubes quickly and very well.

My refrigerator had a huge piece of ice within the bottom area which I defrost it and it sent it down a small hole above the fruit trays where is this water going. Most of it ended up on the floor.
It should be going to the water tray behind your refrigerator above where your compressor is. It's a tray to collect water and it usually isn't suppose to over flow - cause not a lot of water should be going out so fast. In this case, it overflowed. You should take it out - google how, it is just like a rotating pull out. Clean it out and put it back. All refrigerators have it. And I highly suggest cleaning it every 6 months or so........can get real nasty. TT-TT

Can this be used outdoors in cold weather?
I use the Avanti as a second fridge, housed in an uninsulated shed. There have been no problems. Hope this helps.
