Hood and fan best in U.S.A.--get fan IQ12 for quiet fan
There is no fan quieter than the IQ12 in the USA.
I checked for months.
Use a "bestrangehoods.com" professional hood.
Mine is a medium size WP28M.
It has good controls and lights.
On low speed, it takes most heat and odors outside.
In Florida with "sealed houses" your need a "damper and switch" so the fan does not exhaust your cool inside house air.
"Broan" bought "Best Range Hoods" so calling Broan doesn't always get a knowledgable rep.
Many contractors do not understand the importance of a hood that vents to outside, even if through the side wall instead of roof.
Many contractors don't know about "dampers and switches".
It can be difficult to get a fan and other equipment specified, let alone installed correctly.
In this case, the hood and blower and the same company and are well-matched. Don't get the smaller blower for best results. Get the IQ12.

Overall great but could use a little improvement
I bought this good with the 1200cfm external fan. It's super quiet, removes odors and smoke effectively. I do wish the controls were on the outside of the unit instead of underneath so that it doesn't get as dirty. Also if you put the filters in the wrong way (opposite direction) it is a major pain to remove. Both those issues could be easily redesigned to make it a perfect unit. LED lighting would be a great addition too.
