I just received my new Bissell vac. I have a Dyson which though touted to be great has often left me frustrated because of performance problems. Using the Bissell was a dream! Easy to use, clean the tank and it worked well on my dusty floors!

A Great Power Stick
I recently purchased the Powerclean Furguard cordless stick vacuum to replace another Bissell stick vacuum whose hose got holes in it so it no longer had suction. I wasn't disappointed in the ease of use and how easy it is to charge the battery and clean out the dirt receptacle. It is not too heavy which is great for me as I am short in stature, and it can stand up on its own. Wall mounting hardware was included if you need it. I was also able to purchase a second battery in case I should need it. The vacuum has good suction and I loved that it had a crevice tool and a smaller power head for doing stairs.

Love this vacuum! Needed a heavy duty vacuum to clean up cat litter and fur - works like a dream. Turbo setting is the best. Easy to clean and recharging battery so easy. Thank you - you’ve made my life so much easier : )

Love this vacuum
This is my first stick vacuum and I will never go back. This vacuum is perfect. My partner and I have 2 cats in an all hardwood floor, two story house. We got lots of hair and dust and I was worried the battery wouldn't last much more than a quick clean but I was wrong. I can do an entire floor on a charge, its great for litter, kitchen messes, and when my boyfriend tracks the garden inside. Highly recommend. Plus the light is magic.

I love it.
Bissell has exceeded my expectations with this one. I turn off the room lights and the headlights show me all the dog hair my V 11 missed. I don't have any special equipment to measure with but I believe it pulls itself to the floor as hard as my V 11 . It doesn't come with near as many attachments but I use my rewind mostly for the wand because I can point the headlights toward the mess and remove the wand with the headlights still shining on the mess. I don't know about the durability yet but it's quiet powerful and gathers a lot of shed pet hair.

Exceptional Performance
Highly impressed with performance of the (2) two FURGUARD units Santa brought me! One for upstairs and one for downstairs. Use daily and truly amazed with the thorough job the unit does. The performance brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face!

Best Vacuum Ever!
Love this new machine. Has great suck power and the lights make getting everything picked up easy. Battery lasted long enough for me to do almost my entire 2600 square foot house (and I was under and around things I usually skirt but could see this time with the light) of both tile and area rugs of varying heights and fibers. Easy to empty dust bin - much easier to use than the Dyson it replaced!

Loving it so far
This is my first cordless vacuum, so I wanted one with a removable battery for easy switching of needed. I am glad to have found one for less than the other brand with same feature. I have a cat and 2 dogs, one being a Siberian Husky. So the daily fluff is definitely a lot. So far this has easily been able to handle picking up all the fur. I am able to use the vac on eco mode for a majority of the time. While the main head cannot handle my small lightweight area rugs/runners due to the high suction power just on the eco mode, the Furfinder hand tool is very convenient to use for me to vacuum them no problem. So far I highly recommend this vacuum.

Overpriced, overrated and desperately inefficient and ineffective after FIRST USE. This vacuum is GARBAGE! Poor battery life, guiding light doesn’t work with EXTREMELY poor suction!! I’d be BETTER OFF sweeping!!!!!

What else could you ask for?
Light weight, compact, powerful, great attachments for all practical uses. Cordless and the battery charges quickly. The collection container could be bigger but then it would take away from how compact it is.

Nice cordless!
I was leary of a cordless vacuum and did a ton of research before deciding on the PowerClean Fur Guard.It picks up cat littler like a champ without it flying out and back into the floor. I also love how it lights up the floor showing me smaller items .

Impressed with Bissell FurGuard Cordless Vacuum
While I have only had this for a couple of weeks so far it works great. Much better than my off brand model that was difficult to remove parts and clean filter.This is so much easier. Although wish the battery would last longer. I do like that this Bissell is extremely quiet I did not expect that. I have two small parrots that unfortunately like to throw out seeds so I keep this near the cages to clean up daily. I also have two short hair cats, I do vacuum the house frequently but was surprised that this FurGuard actually picked up more than my regular large vacuum. Beside the battery the other wish list for this was that the canister was larger.

Kudos to Bissell
I've only had the Fur Guard for a couple of weeks, but at this point I'd have to say that this is my favorite vac ever. I have 3 cats so kitty litter and fur are the issue. It picks up both very well and my house has never been cleaner. The vac is quiet, has strong suction and the light reveals the dirt very well. I'm very pleased thus far. Great product.

Cordless Stick Vacuum
I live in a one room schoolhouse with old wood floors. I have lots of dust bunnies because of my cats and it is so much easier to suck them up. This makes sweeping a breeze compared to a broom.

I have tried more than just a few stick vacuums, by far this one is the best! I appreciate the magnitude of the light, I am able to see all the litter my 3 cats track on the hardwood floor. Using the lowest level of power, all the litter is being seen and cleaned up. It is light and it stands alone very sturdily, meaning no tilting or swaying. Emptying the trash cup is very easy and installing to position is very easy too. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend if you have pets and yes you see the fur too!

Great Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been loving this vacuum for a few big reasons. My kids have fighting over "playing" with it, which means our floors are looking very very clean. Being cordless and having multiple attachments means I can take out to my car for a quick sweep and get the stairs no problem. The PowerClean FurGuard 280 W has the power of a corded traditional vacuum, but it's lightweight and moves to different levels of our home much easier. We have noticed less dog and cat hair in the corners of our rooms, our couches are less fuzzy ( thanks to another attachment!), and we only have to charge this vacuum about once a week. It also has a metal filter that doesn't give you that dog-funk smell because it's easy to rinse clean.
If you're in the market for a lightweight, versatile, powerful vacuum then the PowerClean FurGuard 280 W is right for you.
