Cord is shorter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased Bissell products for over 40 years. Love Bissell! My last 2 sweepers only lasted 6 and 7 years though. My new sweeper purchase does have a shorter cord and the hook for the cord has changed, does not function as well as the old. I was really disappointed in these changes.

The best fur removal vacuum I have ever used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is the BOMB! It is light enough to lift easily around the shedding senior dog who does not move for you. It has those incredible LED lights that show all the fur on the wood or rugs and it picks it all up. Love the attachments right there for picking up the fur off the bed stands or the lamp shades on them after the babies get out of bed. It cleans like no one's business. It cleans the stairs with the little power head and it was so simple! I am so glad we got this vacuum!

Like my vacuum but not in love. Not Suzy Homemaker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a vacuum and surprise I use it as a vacuum. I have a central vac which I hate, and I have a small handheld, which doesn't exactly make for an easy time unless I'm on my hands and knees. I have a 15 year old shih tzu who cannot eat on my kitchen floor because of her age and smooth pads. She eats in the carpeted family room. That's where the vacuum now lives! Easy cleanup since she does play with her bowl from time to time. Only 2 negatives: 1) it isn't so easy to maneuver on any surface and 2) forget trying to vacuum a rubber backed bathroom rug. It just eats it up and starts getting mad..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this vacuum for a few weeks and have been really pleased with the results. The suction is powerful and the beater brush is intuitive in that it eases up when moving to a less resistant floor. The base swivels easily which makes it easy to maneuver around objects. The wand is easily removed to reach higher places. The attachment for corners has a built in battery powered light that is something I didn't know I needed until I had it. It makes it so easy to clean hard to reach places and see behind furniture and other areas. The fabric brush does an amazing job funneling the air to produce a steady rotation of the bristles to clean pet fur off of furniture. The dust bin is removed and emptied easily with the push of a couple buttons. I was amazed at how much dust was actually collected the first time I used this vacuum even though I routinely used my older vacuum.

I used put normal vacuum and then used this after and it picked up so much that was missed. I've used on both carpets and my hardwood. Love that there is a light on the vacuum and also on the handle that you pull off. I was able to see so much that I did not see before. 10/10. Recommend.

I have two children and two pets and this vaccum does wonders..for pet hair especially to allergen free .The brush works well , I loved the fact the lights on vaccum and attachment truly help. It's also nice to be able to take canister off to vaccum steps especially. Attachments work amazingly.well on the hard to reach spot esp in furniture. It is a very quiet vaccum also. Easy to empty I would highly recommend this to any pet owner or homeowner..the quality is endless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hard wood floor with area rugs and this vacuum easily transfers between the two surfaces; however it works better on the carpet than the wood floor. It is light weight and easy to move around the house. The wide area of the vacuum makes cleaning up quicker and the attachments get hard to reach places. It does a good job of picking up all of the cat hair around the house so that it is not all over my clothes. I like that it is on a swivel base making it easier to maneuver. Cons is that it is a little louder than my old vacuum. I received this product for free in return for an honest review.

Bissell sent it to me in exchange for my review, and I'm so happy to have received it. It's lightweight, powerful, and easy to use. The assembly was incredibly simple, and I love the way it changes modes between surfaces automatically. The canister is huge and it lifts right off so you can easily vacuum stairs. The light on the front of the vacuum helps you see things you don't even know are there. It's picked up dog hair and dirt from both my hardwoods and carpets that my old vacuum left behind. It's very smooth moving over the hard floors, and it's relatively quiet for a full size vacuum. It maneuvers around furniture with ease and also has a hand attachment that makes cleaning couches easier. Overall, I think the SurfaceSense allergen lift-off vacuum is a great product being offered at a fair price point.

Great Vacuum!

The Bissell SurfaceSense Allergen Pet lift off vacuum has helped so much around this house! We have both tile, rugs and carpet throughout the house. I like that the vacuum can sense which type of floor I am vacuuming on so that I do not have to stop to switch a button. It has a very strong suction to get the dirt and dust out of my rugs. I love that I can take off the vacuum pod to vacuum my stairs. My stairs have carpet, so they get dog hair stuck in the edges and other things from my kids going up and down the stairs. It is easy to dump the canister out into my trash can and put it back on to the vaccum. I am happy with this vacuum and I think pet owners should have this!

This vacuum effortlessly picked up her hair from any surface in the house whether hard surface, rug or carpet. I am impressed with the efficiency of the multi surface cleaning when transitioning from rug to hardwood floors. The crevice tool is highly effective including the LED light. I live this vacuum. First, I live how easily the accesories attach to the vacuum when not in use. It not a flimsy little snap on or hold, it truly holds it which is so needed. The tank on this thing is so big. I was shocked when I first saw it. I feel like I'll be able to get a few passes before I'll need to empty and it's so easy to empty, too. I am also in love with the hose attachment for furniture. The auction is strong and really gets the trapped dirt and hair in my couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the surface since allergen pet lift off vacuum By Bissell several times. I did this because I wanted to see if it made any real impact and it did!!! This vacuum rolls smoothly across the carpet, the rug in the hardwood floor. It sucks up everything the first time I don't have to make two and three passes to get things up off the floor. I have a son who makes a lot of messes and for people who have little people or children that are just plain old messy. This is the vacuum for you. I have a dog who runs around and runs outside so usually because of my allergies we are sneezing a lot, and this vacuum has cut that down a lot my family has not been sneezing as much and my floors look much cleaner because of it. this vacuum does not feel heavy and it's also aesthetically pleasing.

Cleaning Beast -- Goodbye Pet Hair/Dirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the SurfaceSense Allergen Pet Lift-Off Vacuum from Bissell. This vacuum is a cleaning beast -- it was #easytoassemble and it holds all the attachments -- which is preferable; or else I won't use them and have to find somewhere to store them. I love the Surface Sense technology where it automatically adjusts for floor to carpet as you clean. Easy to detach canister to empty and to use hose/attachments to get in higher areas, tight spaces, etc. It is a large vacuum but it covers everything, has great suction power, front light. No complaints here. My dad came to visit and won't stop vacuuming!
