Awesome ! Money well spent.
I just bought this today. With the first use, I was amazed at how much pet hair had remained embedded in my carpet. Even the hand tool (with suction powered brush) was awesome at removing pet hair from couch cushions.

Great vacuum cleaner for pets

I'd love the upholstery attachments and how it does get all of the pet hair off of the furniture very good section

Great products and great customer service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my vacuum and put it together, but unfortunately during transit it must have gotten broken as my brush wouldn't spin. I tried every troubleshooting available on the website, to no avail. I called the customer service department and within 3 business days I had another brand new vacuum and this one worked perfectly! I couldn't believe how light and easy it maneuvered, plus it cleaned up so much stuff I'm actually appalled at how my previous vacuum preformed. I totally recommend!

This has been a game changer! Deep cleaning dream!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is made by a trusted company Bissell! I have used their steam cleaners for years but had not used their vacuum cleaners. This model is lightweight, and what a plus for cleaning stairs and landings. It just glides on carpet and hardwood floors. The bright light makes it so easy to see and appreciate what a great job the vacuum is doing. You will be shocked how much more dirt and debris was left from your previous vacuum after using the Bissell. The suction pressure is very powerful. The attachments are very efficient and work great to reach difficult areas. Texas is known for its mountain cedar and high level of pollen and combined with my 2 large dogs (Irishdoodle and lab/shepherd mix); I am happy to say that my allergies have improved with use of this vacuum cleaner. This vacuum has been such a game changer for deep down cleaning!

Pet owners rejoice

I have a rabbit I live with in my home, she parties hard and leaves a mess of pellets, hay, poo puffs, hair for hee maid (me) to clean up. This Bissell is amazing at picking it all up without complaining. Hay generally gets stuck in most vacuums hoses but not here, pretty much every strand was waiting for me to dump easily out of its holding cell. Anything that couldn't be rolled over went through handheld hose without effort. And plus rarely scared the bunny.

High quality and "smart"!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ah, vacuums. There are so many options on the market...fancy brands, cheap brands, and everything in between. As far as vacuums for your main floors go, I've owned several: old-school bag-based upright vacuums (think Hoover brand from back in the day...), a mid-range Shark canister vac, a fancy and heavy Dyson upright, two Bissell Pet Hair Erasers (one w/Turbo Rewind feature and one w/a wrapped cord), an awkward Dyson ball canister vacuum (the one that kind of drags behind you as you hold the wand...a literal ball and chain), and now this Bissell SurfaceSense Lift Off Upright Vacuum. Upon opening the box, the SurfaceSense Lift Off was packaged very nicely. Everything was protected and yet easy to unpack. As a Millennial gal with arthritis, this ease meant a lot! The protective packaging: sturdy cardboard, completely recyclable. Not much plastic at all. This vacuum was very simple to assemble - unlike a Dyson. Instead, stuff just made sense and clicked together nicely. I was skeptical that this vacuum would actually sense a change in flooring - so I gave it a whirl and pushed from my carpeted living room, straight to the linoleum kitchen floors. Whadda ya know, it actually sensed the change in surface and adjusted automatically! I've never had a vacuum do this before and continued to go back and forth between surfaces. Super cool and I didn't have to push any buttons or switches at all! Aesthetically, it's nice looking and high quality. Definitely not as heavy and cumbersome as a standard Dyson upright, but it's not as lightweight as a cordless vac. The SurfaceSense is substantial without compromising maneuverability. The brushes are housed in a swivel-based head that also features a row of several LED lights. Suction is excellent, too. The only thing I'd change is the cord: make it retractable rather than wrap-style.

I'm quite amazed at this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start with, it came in a box, not put together. Putting it together was the hardest part for me. I went to Bissell's sight as suggested, but could not find a video to help me set it up. Once I got the set up figured out, I was in love! The vacuum is much lighter than I expected it to be, and much, much quieter. It seemlessly goes from carpet to hardwood and is easy to maneuver and push. The suction is the best that I've ever experienced from a vacuum and it doesn't blow the dirt out of the back. I was really impressed with how easy it was to remove the canister to vacuum the stairs. It felt like a no brainer, it is really well designed for that. No more gymnastics trying to get the stairs vacuumed! It did an excellent job picking up not only the cat hair, but picking up my very long hair as well. Emptying and cleaning was much easier to do than with other vacuums that I've owned, and I didn't make a huge mess doing it! Allergies have been high around here because of dust, dander, and pollen. My partner and I noticed a difference after the first time that I vacuumed with it. No more drippy noses and itchy eyes. I received this product in return for an honest review. The only downside was the initial set up of the vacuum. Once that was done, the rest has been a really satisfying experience! I highly recommend this to people with pets or with dust allergies! It's a great vacuum!

Beautiful vacuum!! Works like a champ!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first unboxed this vacuum I realized how sturdy it is and how beautiful. It is black with copper accents, simply stunning. Putting it together was straightforward, I didn't need the directions to do so. Once I used it I noticed how easy it was to operate and how flawlessly it was able to switch between carpet and hardwood. The suction is amazing. I have six cats and a dog, this vacuum was able to easily pick up all their hair. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a reliable vacuum.

I love this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I'd like to say this vaccuum is beautiful! So aesthetically pleasing.The copper shimmer accents and little design features are definitely giving clean chic! It's just nice to look at. Ok, now that I've gotten that out of my system.. this thing vacuums to the gods! It definitely does its job and does it well. The swivel and maneuverability of the base make it really easy to navigate tight spaces and get into the nooks and crannies. The attachable accessories are really smart in their design as well, and have adjustable parts that cut down on the amount of pieces accompanying the vac, all while giving all of the features necessary to clean whatever area/surface you need to. Very efficient. In addition to household cleaning, the handle on and the length of the detachable wand and hose are also perfect for cleaning vehicles. It can easily reach all places. I mean literally, I don't think there's anything this thing can't do! Five stars!

The Best vacuum Ever!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell SurfaceSense Lift off upright vacuum from Bzz Agent for a review of the product.I received the product for free.Which I was thrilled about as I was going to purchase a new vacuum . This vacuum is lightweight and I love how you can detach it from the base and carry it around.I used the hose with the different attachments included I loved the crevice tool and it also had a brush attachment that you could slide down too use on coffee tables,curio cabinets to remove dirt and dust.It had a light at the end of it,its great for baseboards,ceilings,furniture.The suction was great.I also used the brush attachment in the carpeted stairs worked great . I reattached the canister to the base and vacuumed our hardwood and tile floors,it picked up everything on the floors. It does have a cord but it's a long cord.There are 2 settings on the vacuum one is Plush carpet and the other is Low carpet and bare floors.Theres a button to release the wand and a button to release the tank/canister.Off and on switch.Its easy to empty the dirt from the canister. It also has a Hepa filter attached as well.I was extremely happy with the SurfaceSense Lift Off Upright Vacuum results.I would definitely recommend to friends and family.I would definitely purchase this vacuum.

Way better than I expected

I have less allergies in the house that I had before. It deep cleans my old carpet and picked up most the hair on my floor. And other allergens my other vacuum couldn't pick up. I highly recommend this product!

Can I get an "Amen!"?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I have been a Dyson fan since Day 1. I use my Animal Ball every week to keep up with my yellow lab's shedding, because, let's face it, that thing is a beast and dog hair doesn't stand a chance. But... I got an offer to try this vacuum through BzzAgent and I have to say, I kinda prefer the Bissell SurfaceSense over my Dyson Animal! (*gasp*) First of all, it has a light!! Can I get an "Amen!"? That was one of the things I immediately hated about my Dyson. Why wouldn't you have a light? And secondly, the weight and maneuverability is significantly better with the Bissell. Moving the Dyson is a chore. The suction is so good on that thing, it's harder to push. I found using the attachments on the Bissell easier as well. I will continue to use the Dyson to deep-suction my heavy traffic areas full of dog hair and debris, but the Bissell wins for quick clean ups.

This moves effortlessly through my home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] • First off, the swivel head is really, really nice. It is the first thing that caught my eye with this vacuum. It was effortless the way it adjusted to the room and the curves and turns in the hallway. It easily adjusts to under the bed with the arm lowering itself down easily as if it knows what it is supposed to do. • Secondly, the attachments and the brush on the main swivel head were all completely clean after picking up all my cat hair. That was nice to see, nothing caught in the brushes or teeth. I used the attachments on the stairs and furniture successfully. The main unit follows you easily when you extend beyond its reach with the attachments. • The vacuum picked up my cat's hair effortlessly. I didn't have to go over every section multiple times, although a few times I did. • When I was downstairs on my wood floors the transition to the rugs was a bit noisy. I had to keep an eye on the switch between carpet and hard floor or it was pretty noisy and sounded strained. I would expect that is something I will get used to adjusting. • The attachments can be a little hard to get off of the vacuum, but I imagine I will adjust to that. • The cleanup is very easy. Removal of the section to empty was the same as my other vacuums. That is the only section that showed any dust residue after vacuuming. • The suction on the attachments is very strong. • I had no problems figuring out how to work this vacuum. • I would recommend this to my friends and family who have pets for sure. It's a great vacuum.

Love, Love this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a long haired cat who loves to roll on soft surfaces. Naturally her fur is on all furniture, rugs, and carpets. This vacuum is a dream at picking up pet hair and cat litter! The SurfaceSense Life Off makes it very easy to transition from one surface to the next. For Example my living room / dining roomis hard tile surfaces with rugs and I could vacuum under my dining room chairs easily to vacuuming between sofa cushions to cat's kitty litter corner. My previous vacuum required multiple passes to get all the fur from the carpets. But the Bissel got the fur in just a couple of passes. It even got the glitter from my holiday decorations that previously refused to be vacuumed up.

Best vacuum I have ever owned!

The suction is amazing, not too loud. Love that it has a light on the main part and the dusting tool! I have 1 dog who is shedding like crazy right now and it picked up all the fur with only a few swipes. It swivels very smoothly and pushes easily from carpet to hardwood without switching buttons. Love how easy all the attachments can be changed and released with ease.

Works Great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best vacuum I have ever used and owned. Not to mention it comes from a great company I know and trust. Let me start by saying how lightweight the vacuum is. It just glides on our carpet and hardwood floors. Also I love the fact that it has a light on the front of the vacuum to help see pet hair and things you may not notice. The vacuum has a very powerful suction to it and I love that fact that it also has a swivel to it to go around furniture. The vacuum also comes with attachments that work great for hard to reach areas and help with dust, pet hair and other things. It's also great that it has a HEPA Allergen System to trap dust and other things to help with allergies. I love this vacuum and how well it makes my life easier. It cleans well and I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Bissell products in the past and they were pretty Stellar. But this all surface vacuum cleaner was amazing. It was very easy to assemble and to use and I tested by thoroughly sweeping my hardwood floors TWICE. The Bissell was STILL able to pick up dirt that was left behind. My floors and were extra clean. It picked up dirt and grit that the broom missed. I would very highly recommend this product.

Best vacuum cleaner ever for people who have animals!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised how well this vacuum cleaner worked! I would say it is the best vacuum that i ever had, and i had many. I didn't vacuum for a week, to see how would it worked and i was amazed how much dirt it picked up. My hallway carpet (wasn't that dirty I thought) had lots of dirt, it picked up 2ce as much dirt as my other vacuum cleaner. Also big plus that it has very long wire, which i love. Its not loud, very smooth, has a light and gets under the furniture very well. It gets almost horizontal when cleaning under the chairs. Also has a carpet/no carpet switch and it's automatically changes brushes. All and all i am super happy with this vacuum, i think its the best out there, even better then dyson. My house will be super clean from now on. Thank you so much for letting me sample this product, you guys are the best!

A great new way to sweep up after your pets!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small 2-bedroom apartment with 6 cats and 2 dogs running around it so you can imagine all the pet hair they leave behind. I got a sample product from Bissell because I really wanted to see if this vacuum would work to clean up after them. This sweeper came in pieces that were easy to put together. Once put together it is small and lightweight so at first I thought that it wasn't going to work well because I'd always believed the bigger the better or the more powerful. This definitely wasn't the case here. I'm honestly a loyal Bissell fan but their other sweepers just weren't doing what they claimed. I thought maybe this was because we had too many pets in too small of a space and honestly I think I may have been right because this sweeper did a wonderful job of cleaning up all the hair. I'm really glad that I now own this sweeper because I feel like I'll have less pet hair in my home. Even if I hadn't been given it for free I'd have thought about and possibly bought it the next time I was shopping for a sweeper. The only reason I say "possibly" is because this is such a small sweeper and in the past, I always thought the bigger the better. It's easy to maneuver into tight spaces and I also like the fact that it's lightweight. Honestly, if you own a lot of pets, and even if you don't, make sure you get this sweeper. It'll leave your home cleaner and your air healthier for all your family members, even the furry ones.

A fantastic vacuum!

It was easy to use all of the provided attachments (including using them to vacuum a cat tree). I can go from carpet to hardwood with ease. Best vac for picking up pet hair.

The tangle free brush is wonderful. The led light on the crevice cleaner helps me see better. Bagless. You can order replacement filters and parts from Bissell.

What a great machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the SurfaceSense for Free in exchange for a honest review. I have to say this vacuum is great! Lets start with the unboxing, very easy to put together no issues at all. The look of this vacuum is so slick! The rose gold makes it look so glamours or something and I have to say great addition! Now to the way it works, AMAZING! the power of suction is perfect and the attachments are so easy to put on and off. The detachable wand that slips in and out makes using a breeze! It is very quite too, I was surprised for as powerful it is, the noise level was extremally low. It was able to clean not only the floors but my window seals, cracks and furniture with the awesome attachments! Pet hair comes up with no problem at all. The dumping of dirt was so simple and showed no issues at all. It glides so effortless from carpet to wood and back to carpet no adjusting needed! If I had to say one thing I would change it would be the cord, that was the only flaw I could find, I would prefer a cord that slides into the system as in previous modules as this cord is a manual wrap on the side. Over all I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say that I in a clear disclosure got the product for free in exchange for writing the review. With that said. This vacuum is by far the best one that I have ever owned. I am a long haired chi, two cat, and reptile owner. I have three teens at home still. The messes in our home are horrid. This auto senses the depth needed on our hardwood floors straight over to our carpets. It has wonderful sucking power. Glides across all surfaces. I love the rose gold accent pieces and is small and lightweight. It comes apart for Easy use on stairs or tight spaces. The accessories work great and the added flashlight helps to not pick up larger pieces. I will stick with Bissell from now on. This is a ten star product.
