After vacuuming the wood surfaces, then cleaning them ( both with the floor cleaner and rinse mop), I let the floors thoroughly dry (very important), I applied the high gloss polish. It won’t down easy in long strokes with a microfiber sweeper mop. The finish was beautiful and lasted for six months. I repeated the process six months later and it went down even easier. A bit expensive, but totally worth it.

A little goes a long way too, so for the price, it does last awhile. I choose ones that do not have any scent too which I like and it does not harm out animals that we have and is safe for children.

We were selling our home and after painters pulled up some of the tape- it literally pulled up what was left of the finish on the floors, that’s how bad it was. I was going to possibly pay to sand and refinish the entire floor. My sister suggested Bona high gloss polish and the results were amazing! We followed the instructions to the letter. I already used Bona cleaning solution for years, so maybe that’s part of the reason we had such great results on these 19 year old floors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb! My floors are old and had been sanded as much as tolerable. I was extremely unhappy with them and didn't know what to do. I first was using Bona Floor Cleaner and really liked it. Then I saw the Bona Floor Polish and decided to try it. I think the trick is to first get the floors really really clean. Cleaned them with a good cleaner first then the Bona cleaner. Let dry thoroughly. Then apply the Bona Floor Polish. As you can see from pictures a total transformation!! I'm happy now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasting shine Purchased house and unsure of what previous owners used. Decided on a thorough cleaning using Bona Cleaner, which removed all gunk and layered products. Left floors smooth clean and foggy as expected. Preceded with the Bona Polish to bring out the shine and layer of protection. Nearly four months later, shine is still there. I feel some people use a cleaner and expect a polish shine. A misunderstanding on use and expectations.

I used Bona cleaner (what our contractor recommended) and it has always cleaned, but today my shine was gone just had a haze. I looked up Bona high gloss polish and read the reviews. I saw about half good and half really bad. With my new floors I was nervous about using the polish so we called our contractor who said "Yes". So glad we called him. The floors look amazing. We followed the instructions on the bottle, took about 1/3 of the bottle, and used a Bona micro pad. So happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Only Brand that Works for My floors This polisher has been a life-saver, I have tried endless products to get my floors to shine without high dry times and lasts for 5 days or more...THIS IS IT. I will never go back, trust me if you purchase you will not be disappointed It also doesn’t make the floors slippery ( we have a pooch) which I love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results so far It's only been 12 hours since I applied it and I think it looks really good so far. Can't comment on durability as it's not even fully cured yet. I discovered this hardwood under old carpet when I purchased this 60 something year old house and had it sanded down and refinished more than 10 years ago. It was beginning to show its age so I decided to give this product a try. It's all about making sure that your floor is well prepped before applying this stuff. I used Bona hardwood deep clean first before applying the polish.I just love the rich colour and clarity in my floor. Will update should anything strange happen after curing. Just to be clear, I don't think this product hides any deep scratches or dents or abuse. I just take very good care of my floors so that also helps. If you destroy your floors, there won't any liquid miracles to help you with that. haha

Our hardwood floors were installed a year ago and we have a matte finish on them. Overtime the high traffic areas were looking a little dull so the polish did exactly what I wanted it to do. It did add a sheen which I like. I applied this product myself with a super soft cloth.

Pre-move cleaning revealed that the newly stained hardwood oak floors weren't looking quite a new as I would have liked for new construction. So I purchased the mop, microfiber pads, and the high gloss floor polish. After two coat, the floors look absolutely amazing! SO HAPPY!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE Do Not and I repeat Do Not use Bona Floor Polish for Laminate flooring, it has ruined our floor we have been in our brand new home for 5 months when we polished the floor with Bona Floor Polish the whole floor IS RUINED and has to now be replaced costing $6000, followed the instructions This product should NOT be on the market, You cannot get it off, had a shocking finish. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Bona! I have used Bona on my tile, on my laminate flooring and on my hardwood flooring. I use a little and go in the direction of my floor over and over until Bona fluid is on the floor with a shine. I have a buffer that I use and I have to the most gorgeous floors anyone can have and have had so many people ask what I use or do for my wooden floors. I love it and if used right, leaves a shine you can see yourself through. Nothing like Bona and I will continue to love it and use it. It is absolutely number 1 in my book. Thank you Bona for offering a product I can say I love.

I bought Bona Polish and for the past 5 1/2 years used nothing else and the floors look great. I even get compliments from people wishing their floors looked as good.

Question - now that I have polish on my floors, can I still use the Power Plus hardwood floor cleaner or should I only use the regular hardwood floor cleaner only? The label on the Power Plus cleaner says that it shouldn't be used on waxed floors????? Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Polish Container I am very happy with both the cleaner and polish. My complaint is with the container for the polish. While the cleaner has a spray bottle, the polish uses a squeeze bottle. I find it very difficult to hold and squeeze with one hand, while I am also holding onto the applicator. When the bottle is relatively new, it is very awkward, if not impossible, to easily grip with one hand, while squeezing. The top rectangular shape either compresses or buckles and is hard to control. A simple redesign, with a neck that is stiffer and smaller, would make the process much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked very well Bought this to use on hardwood floors already protected with Bona Mega wood floor finish. I’m not too sure why there are so many negative reviews. I vacuumed my floors, cleaned them with floor cleaner and then used both the Bona applicator and finish. Results were great..pretty simple. I have two labs so not every scratch was filled in, then again I didn’t expect it too. I think Bona is the leader in floor care and for people to post negative reviews either they aren’t following directions or the floor surface isn’t prepped correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful results I thoroughly dusted, then used Bona cleaner (fresh pad) and let dry a couple hours with a fan running. Using a clean designated polish pad, I applied the low gloss polish and was not happy with the finish; looked like matte finish. Laundered & completely dried the polishing pad, went out & purchased the high gloss polish, and completed the same area. (No one walked on surface so I did not reclean the floor.) Now that it is dry, I see a beautiful finish, but not a super high gloss! I believe the secret is allowing enough drying time for cleaner and using clean DRY pads at the start of each clean and polish session. Very time-consuming this first time, but the second half of room should be a breeze!

Floors in part of my house have not been refinished in May years and this product made them look absolutely beautiful, I am amazed. Floors that were refinished 13 years again, that do look quite good, needed a little something, they too look wonderful. This is an excellent product. The bottle did advice that you should test an area first, I did do that on my older floors to make sure this would be OK with the existing finish. Others reviewers must not have done that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brought my glossy shine back! When we first moved in to our house, I used the Swiffer Spray Wet Mop for hardwood floors in the office (pictured below). I have very shiny glossy finished floors. The Swiffer cleaner literally took the gloss off the floors in those two rooms. I was devastated and didn't use that cleaner again. A friend of the family (who owns a flooring company) suggested we try Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner, and I bought the high gloss polish to try as well. My husband I went out and bought some today and did this room a few hours ago. I am so please and excited to say that those products have fixed the mess that the other cheaper cleaner did and I thought ruined my floor. This is the after picture and I will never ever use any other products again. For 8 months I have tried other products and thought my beautiful floors were ruined! My beautiful glossy finish is back! Bona products are the way to go!!

I cleaned them with bona cleaner, let them dry and applied the high gloss polish. I couldn't be happier. I have a new shiny hardwood floor! I just wish bona would offer coupons!!!
