I installed myself, and had I had to cut out some of my cabinet, but because the included install instructions were well written I was able to DIY. The trim really set it off and makes the install look custom. Highly recommended.

Bosch built in microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit to replace a whirlpool built in that had gone out three times. The Bosch unit is more spacious inside, looks great, and is real easy to wipe down inside. The fan will run for 30 secs or so after using, which was different from others out there so be prepared. It's not overly loud when it's running at all; also the chime volume can be adjusted via menu.

Quiet but powerful larger microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced 15 year old built in microwave. This one did not fit my space but was the closest I could find. Made install of trim kit hard. I like the power and quietness but am sad the trim is painted plastic and a little worried that door opener latch will not withstand the use it gets in my home. ( that was a perpetual problem in my last oven of a different brand). It's a little odd when I press it to open. It has a fan that activates to cool after use which is also odd, since it's in a cabinet I'm not sure where it is exiting

It functions flawlessly, we appreciate the quality, the power and especially the fact that it's very quiet. It has taken some getting used to have to press the stop button to unlock the door and pushing the latch to open the door (seems like an unnecessary to step process. We are very fortunate to have all Bosch appliances in our new kitchen (it feels good).

Bosch 300 series microwave
We really like this new microwave. It is a replacement for another Bosch that lasted for many years and we hope to get a long life out of this one also. It is really quiet along with other small improvements which we like. It's not a cheap replacement but is worth the price.

All you need in a Microwave - A+

Review of Bosch built in microwave oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled the kitchen of our home about 25 years ago and installed Bosch double convection ovens along with a Bosch diswasher and other appliances. Those Bosch products are still working perfectly. We are renovating the kitchen again after these many years and have installed a Bosch built-in microwave oven that has the same appearance as the ovens. In addition to looking really good, this appliance works incredibly well. It has many automated settings that are useful for what many people do regulary such as baking potatoes, make popcorn, cooking frozen pizza and many more. We also installed the trim kit for the micrwave and this really made it look perfect. I would recommend this appliance to anyone.

Bosch Microwave with trim kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this item to replace a Thermador microwave that was attached to the oven. This Bosch was the only item with 27 inch trim kit. Installed it myself and it fits perfectly. Since Bosch bought Thermador, it was the only brand that had a similar size unit. Very happy with this unit so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older model that quit (10 years old), and with all our appliances being Bosch decided to replace as a newer model. Really like it, seems quieter and the touch pad is very easy to use (light touch all that's needed). Only downside is the process for disabling the child safety lock. This is a higher wall location and not needed. The user manual explains it, but not very user friendly. Overall happy with it.
