Quiet and Drys well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous about getting a ventless dryer because I heard it takes longer to dry. I have not found this to be the case. So far this has completely dried each load the first time around and in less time than my old traditional dryer! So pleased with my purchase!

Great machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and sports loads of features. Fabrics might feel damp after the cycle completes, but after a few minutes outside the dryer they are miraculously dry.

What a pleasure

Excellent for a compact ductless dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dryer as it was compact,environmentally friendly, and we love the quality of Bosch products. Compared to the full size ducted dryer that we had before, it has everthing we need but does not get the washing bone dry and, if over-filled, the clothes can be crumpled. It is very quiet, with numerous settings and we love it. Ideal for a small space, or if you have no ducting. Takes a little getting used to for someone used to a ducted dryer

It's pretty to look at, when it's turned on the blue display panel makes it so easy to choose drying time, heat to be used, what kinds of items are being dried and whether you want to have your items come out wrinkle-free.It's a very quiet machine also. Almost makes drying clothes fun…
The controls on this dryer are very easy to understand and you can dry as hot (or not) as you want, how quickly you want and how many wrinkles you want.
The dryer holds a lot. 2 jumbo bath sheets (each 40x80), 6 hand towels, a kitchen towel, a queen fitted sheet and 4 standard pillow cases in my dryer and there was room for somewhat more. The dryer is also very quiet. Lastly, you can work this dryer remotely. I'm very happy I purchased this dryer.

Loving our new dryer

Replacement for 20 yr old Bosch dryer
I replaced my 20 yr old Bosch dryer with this new model. It is quieter than the old one. It has way too many choices for drying cycle based on the items you put in and the operating manual does not explain the difference well enough. The time listed for the cycle you choose is likely to change during the drying process; so don’t be shocked if what starts as a 3 hour time for drying items slims down to 1.5 hours. I have found it does a good job drying and I set it to “extra dry.” Many commentators complain about length of the cycle and it not getting the items dry enough. You have to remember this is a ventless machine. A vented machine does a better job in a lot shorter time period; no one who has the option for vented chooses ventless. But for those of us who can only choose ventless, this is a good choice. I am hoping it lasts as long as the one it replaced!

Great Heat Heat Pump Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heat pump dryer is definitely one of the best on the market. Previously, I had beed a huge Miele fan for many of my small appliances. I had purchased a Miela heat pump dryer but wasn't as excited about it. I now have a Bosch Heat pump dryer and I LOVE it!! It dries the clothes nicely. If they are not completey dried it will check in with you so the next time it will increase the temperature to more accurately dry your clothes. It is very easy to clean and maintain. I am a fan and I highly recommend!

Little Gem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have never owned a Heat Pump dryer and I must admit I was looking at another European brand washer and dryer before I purchased the Bosch.
What I was concerned about was if the tube would fit down the drain hole along with the washer tube. I couldn't attach it to a sink and I didn't want the water to drain in a bucket. I just happened to think about looking on Y..tube to see how big the drain tube was and to my surprise this dryer can store the water in the draw if you connect the drainage pipe to the dryer and put the plug (which comes with dryer) in the hole in the draw. Then you just pull out the draw and empty the water once the clothes are dried. Who knew. It doesn't mention it in the instruction book unless I missed it.
So it has taken me a little while to get used to it but I have sussed it out and I am loving it. When I take out either the towels or jeans and they feel like they are damp, if you give them a shake by some miracle they become dry, not joking!
Yes this machine isn't like your standard dryer where all you have to do is take the fluff trap out, you are going to have to do a little more up keep on cleaning of the filters but it is so worth it.
No regrets.

Good for 2 Bd Apartment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too big, fairly compact and good size for 2bd apartment. Had some bumps getting it set up on the app for remote start, a little annoying you have to manually say "remote start" at the start of a cycle, but nice because this dryer usually needs a long time to dry (sometimes need to run the dryer again). The remote start is great for running it again if you are not home. The main downside of this dryer is simply that it isn't as powerful at drying as other dryers I've used since it needs quite a bit of time (>1-2 hrs) for a medium sized laundry load. Happy with this in an 2bd apartment but not what I'd want in my dream house.

Sleek, good looking dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time user of heat pump dryer, so it took a few loads to get familiar with it; however, clothes dry well (although some fabrics require 2 hours) and unit is quiet. I'm surprised by the amount of lint that each load creates, but the double filter system seems to catch it all. I'm concerned about the longevity of the plastic parts of the lint filters that already show signs of wear after 1 month.

Nice compact dryer

World like I expect a Bosch product to, with one exception: the bad: when drying sheets, blankets, or anything bulky, tends to dry the outside of a wet bundle. Very difficult to get blankets or comforters dry.

A nice dryer for compact spaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit because we could not find a standard sized unit that would fit in our laundry closet. We also purchased the 500 Series Washer. The dryer takes a bit more time to dry our clothes than a standard unit but it has worked well with lots of cycle options. Our clothes smell fresher and cleaner than they ever did before with our old Whirlpool units. If this unit performs as well and as long as our Bosch dishwasher has (over 8 years old now) we are going to be happy customers for sure. Thank you for making high quality products with good customer support!

Not made aware of emptying condenser

This dries quicker & has a lot of program options. Although I'm not sure if my dryer sheets are working as well in this type dryer as a regular vented one, and I don't see it mentioned in the manual.

500 Series Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes at least 3 times as long as regular dryers. Often times, I have to use timed drying because it thinks clothes are dry but they're not. It's annoying when dryer stops like this - I think it's running but its not so a lot of time is wasted when I have to restart the dryer. I have to empty the receptacle manually - for some reason the installer did not set up drainage hose.

If you have a small apartment/flat and this will be installed in an open floor plan, be prepared heat pump dryers have a consistent buzzing sound. Similar to an old fridge working very hard. Not an issue if you have a laundry room with a door. If I had known the noise existed, I would have used a traditional dryer.
Also, must be the design of the door or something but the fabric softener dryer sheets get stuck and wedged next to the vent and door.
Other than those two annoyances, it does dry clothes well. Pretty much the same as a conventional dryer.

500 Series is Terrible
A condo I purchased came with the stacking 500 series washer and dryer and they are the biggest pieces of garbage. They can't handle much of a load and the dryer rarely dries anything completely and there's no way for this machine to be set to dry for a chosen amount of time. It stops when it thinks the clothes are dry. Towels, for example come out more damp than if I'd used them to dry off after taking a shower. I'll be replacing these ASAP.
