Works as well as it looks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Bosch built-in microwave has bought us such joy. I can reheat my coffee perfectly with the beverage feature and the soften ice cream feature is a nice touch. We are so glad bought it.

Beautiful functionality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're thrilled with our new Bosch microwave oven. In addition to its very attractive glass and stainless steel design, it has lots of features that make meal preparation much easier. I use it to soften butter or cream cheese when baking, to defrost the meat (that I usually forget to pull out of the freezer), and it pops a perfect bag of popcorn.
It's roomy and easy to clean, as well. Love it!

Excellent Professional Microwave

Problem with front panel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon installatiin we discovered a problem with the lighting on the front panel. I notified Bosch and they advised me to contact one of their repair companies in my area. Bosch had them order the replacement part and I had it scheduled for service. The repair was done and the unit works so far.
Thanks Bosch warranty department.

Built-in Microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with our other Bosch appliances, this unit just oozes quality. It feels solid. The sensor touch buttons are easy to use and easy to clean. This unit does a great job of cooking or reheating. We love it!

Excellent and quiet.
Love this microwave. So quiet and easy to use. Beautiful addition to my kitchen. My only complaint is that it is oven the oven and hard for me to reach the inside back to clean. I'm only 5ft 3 inches so others may not have this problem.

Good Microwave
Replaced our 17 year old microwave with this Bosch model. Easy to program and cooks well. Two things need attention, the alarm is barely audible and the timer is difficult to set, it wants run past the target time quickly when depressed up ot down. Give it a good rating for being very quiet and having plenty power. Happy overall and reccomend this appliance.

Average Microwave for the Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch built-in microwave is average at best. Many foods cook unevenly, especially bacon and popcorn. We are currently having issues with it sparking/arcing and being hyper-sensitive to microwaveable packaging. Hoping if we replace the waveguide this will solve the issue. Unsure if this is a frequent issue with their microwaves or if we have a one-off issue.

Disappointed
We bought the microwave combo and dishwasher. Dishwasher broke within the first month, fixed with not issues but the stacking is useless. The microwave light is very dim and after 4 years the microwave just stopped working. We have had cheaper microwaves last many more years. I agree with everyone's comments, bosch is not the same quality, thus prices should reflect the basic quality. I will never buy a bosch dishwasher. Not sure what to do about the microwave.... I'm afraid to purchase another one.

I'm not sure if this is expected, but the turntable wouldn't stop rotating when convection oven is in use. This is super annoying and it doesn't look like there is a way to turn off the turntable.

Terrible prodcut
Seems to be a consistent theme here: product just quits working after a few years. Probably the only microwave oven I've ever owned (at all price points) that just died and stopped operating. Very dissapointed.

bad quality, nice design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the third microwave in a row that we replaced within 2 years and now it is broke again. Awful quality product. Bosch is no longer what it used to be.
The first time we bought this product we fell in love with the design, but was DOA. When it was replaced after a month, it worked for about 8 months and the magnetron went bad. After 2 months I received another replacement that work for about 11 months and now the magnetron is broken again. To my surprise, sticker reades "made in China" while I always believed I was purchasing German quality.

2.5 years and done
Seems to have a shelf life of 2.5 years. Have to decide between spending about 3/4 of the cost of a new one to get it repaired or just buy a new one

Absolute CRAP
We bought a new home 5 years ago and had a choice of Whirlpool or Bosch appliances. I always thought Bosch was top quality.
Boy was I wrong. The door spring on our builtin microwave broke after 2 years. You can't just replace the spring, you have to replace the entire door (over $300). Now 2 years later the wave guide cover has crapped out and we are told we need to buy a new microwave. Five years and the microwave has to be replaced. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. Bosch should be ashamed to produce products that do not live up to their hype.
I will NEVER purchase another Bosch produce.
