500 series exhaust hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a lot of research on the above the cooktop hood we purchased. Our last hood honestly was worthless and I hit head on it because it was so low. The Bosch hood only sticks out from the cabinet above by less than 5 inches. We like the slide out feature as well. It does a very good job exhausting the smells from cooking. I would highly recommend this unit.

Bosch pull out hood vent from
Bosch 500 Series Pull-out Hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were trying to stay with the same footprint of the very old and outdated pull-out that was in our home when we purchased it. This Bosch hood was the only one that we could find with the dimensions and small pull-out profile We wanted a hood that kept flush to the cabinet space, rather than anything that protruded out. This one was perfect! The installers had to make some addtional cuts to fit the unit into the cabinet space above the hood. It all worked out perfect! It provides good lighting and venting when pulled out. You can set the strength of venting or turn it off, and you can also turn on/off the light.We love it!

The hood with the goods!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this range hood, but very happy with the purchase. The sliding mechanism is taut and almost snaps between positions. The fan is strong and the lights are bright. Most surprising is that the filters were easy to remove and clean.

Perfect fit -- love the pull-out function!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very specific parameters to fit the space for a vent hood in our remodel and this one is perfect. We needed it to vent out the back instead of up and we also wanted to minimize the space the vent took up in our smallish kitchen when the vent wasn't in use. This is a great solution!

Great Vent Hood!

Pleased with my new Bosch Pull-out Hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bosch Pull-out Hood fits perfectly in the space of the previous hood (different brand) and performs as expected. I particularly like the carbon air filter and upgraded surface lighting.

So easy to use I didn't know it was there

Perfect range hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old range hood was so low that we would bump our heads every time we used the cooktop. This one is very slim and stylish. Asked our neighbors how they liked it and they couldn't even tell it was there until I pulled it out. Lights are great. Exactly what we were looking for.

Love it!

Love this Hood!!
I love this hood. Pulling the hood out allows all of the smoke to be removed. The lights are bright and this is the best hood we have ever owned.

Good replacement hood

Looks good. Installation instructions not intuitiv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work well and looks good. Installation (especially related to plastic plate) was not helpful. Also there were no screws to attach that plate. I couldn't find any that small.

Minimalist Italian-Made Hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] None of our local dealers had this hood on display, so we took a chance ordering. Glad we did. It comes set up to mount on the flat bottom of a cabinet, but there is a second set of holes that allow you to drop the mounting apparatus lower, such as if you have a 1-1/2 inch wood frame around the bottom of the cabinet, as in the attached photo. Vertical adjustment to fit the space is made very easy with two machine screws. Bosch's literature doesn't give you much information, except for the cut-out size. We didn't see any reason to get one of those kitchen-dominating fancier hoods. I took one point off because it's not very quiet, even on low, but it does it's job very well.

1. Prefer LED lighting in todays modern world.
