Purchased this mostly for the slide in over the counter top which leaves no gap between the counter top. Unfortunately it seems no other companies make this anymore but it looks much better than gaps on the sides. Looks beautiful also.

Looks very sleek

Love this stove!! Cooks fast and efficiently. So pretty too. Did not realize there is a difference between slide in and free standing when I ordered it so make sure you order the right one. The slide in worked for me between 2 cabinets so I kept it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who says it can't be gorgeous and efficient?! This oven has all the freatures I could possibly want. I was sold on "true" European convection because of the superior results. Super fast preheat and self cleaning make this a breeze to maintain. The electric cooktop is easy to clean using the Bosch Cooktop Cleaner which makes the top sparkle plus a nice lemon scent.
The knobs are cast metal which was hard to find on an oven in this price range. Large viewing window and the warming drawer complete the package. The black stainless finish is something I have never seen on any other appliance brand. It resists fingerprints and scratches plus it feels very sturdy and looks amazing!

Beautiful Design & Great Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit feels heavy and sturdy. The metal knobs are such a pleasure to use compared to my old plastic ones. The black stainless steel finish is amazing! No fingerprints and it just feels like a nice heavy metal that doesn't easily scratch. Great difference from the basic stainless that is hard to maintain.
There are many great features that I am still exploring. The oven heats up quickly and the burners on top boil faster way faster than my old unit. The warming drawer is a great bonus and will be used regularly.
Installation took a little patience and time to get it at the exact right level but it blends in with my countertop and looks great! You definitely get what you pay for with Bosch. This is 1 of 4 appliances I plan to switch out to Bosch.

Bosch slide-in electric stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2011, I bought a full kitchen suite of appliances - I wanted Bosch, but their electric slide-in was very utilitarian and paled in comparison to the stunning Jenn-Air stove that had much higher-quality features, knobs and finishes... so I bought the Jenn-Air. However, 11 years later, Bosch has addressed the issues - they have improved the styling and the stove knobs are now cast-metal, as they should be (they were flimsy plastic in 2011). I was very pleased and included this stove in my full Bosch suite - my only complaint is that the stove has very little adjustment-range in height. Please see photo - I was surprised the stove sits far to high above my counter-tops, and I cannot lower the range any further... If I could lower it just an inch, it would be perfect... However, it is the fault of the builder, who didn't do the counters at the standard height, so I can't hold that against Bosch. (There are only a few stoves made to sit a little lower, and they are not of this quality.) I splurged and got the convection version - so it has the capability. Great stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric range has all the bells and whistles. I do wish it had an alert for being left on for a certain amount of time like the refrigerator's 'door open' alert.
Previously, my experience with electric ranges was not great, but this is a game changer. Water on the stove heats up so much faster than my old gas range. Plus, I love all the burner options and sleek look.
The pull out racks are really a great feature - no more burning myself on one of the racks while trying to remove a dish!!

great looking oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i had a drop in range 20 years old that I could no longer get parts for. this was exactly the correct height and width to fit in my kitchen island. we had to cut the lower cabinet in order to slide it in but it looks great. the convection bake is an extra feature that works well when baking bread.

Excellent Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I had some very specific requirements for my existing space, so that kind of narrowed down my options as to what ranges were available to me. I needed a slide-in electric range that would fit into the existing space over my Quartz countertops (the cutout was made specifically for my old oven). So fit was an issue. This Bosch 800 Series totally fit the bill. That said, I am very pleased with this range in all respects. This range looks terrific. I love the black stainless steel. As a true "slide-in" range (the cooktop overlaps the countertops by about 1/4 inch), it has a neat built-in look. It's beautiful. The cooktop has an etched surface. It's still a smooth top, so no different from any other ceramic cook surface. But I'm certain that the etched design will hide the inevitable scratches that occur over time. Cleaning is the same as any ceramic cooktop...a razor blade and some of the regular ceramic cooktop cleaner does the trick. As far as features go, it's pretty straight-forward. I like all the convection modes and the controls are all pretty intuitive. The all-metal knobs are a nice touch. Not a fan of plastic knobs! One thing that I REALLY like is the "Fast Preheat" feature. This oven went from zero to 450 in less than 10 minutes. My old GE would take over 20 minutes to do that, maybe more. Some reviewers mention the oven fan as being overly loud. Yes, you can hear it. No, it's not bothersome. It's pretty much the same as my old GE, and it shuts down much quicker than my old one after cooking is done. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I honestly think it's no different than any other model on the market. All electric ovens have fans. Great oven. Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Finally
took 3 months for delivery and when arrived it had bent side panel. I decided to straighten since I can't go another 3 months without oven.
my previous kenmore elite was so much easier to level and slide in place.
Bosch needs to be leveled turning each foot independently and cant be adjsuted when slid in place so this took some time and more difficult to slide in as there are no casters and you have to drag it into place.
Display is not the brightest and timer alarms are very low, could barely here it, previous Kenmore could be heard across the house.
