I actually like it better as I have more ice always available don't mind opening door to get water. Taste of water is great. Plenty of room for everything in fridge and freezer. Bosch 800 21 cu ft Counter Depth Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old fridge died after nineteen years of service. So we decided to upgrade to something nice looking and of high quality to hopefully meet our needs for another long period of service. We have been incredibly happy with this Bosch so far. Although it is a counter depth, it seems to fit so much food in the refrigerator. We also love the additional drawer for vegetable organization and it does seem to help keep those fresh longer. A big difference has been with leafy greens. Those used to go bad quickly in our old fridge but they stay very fresh in the vegetable drawer.
We looked at the GE Profile and Cafe lines too. But they had a significant step down in quality of look and feel from the full size to counter depth models. The Bosch kept the high quality look and feel in the counter depth version. So it doesn't feel like we're taking an afterthought model.
Oh, and the icemaker is awesome. Once it is up and running after a few days, there is always a full supply of a lot of ice. And the Bosch ice cubes are the best.

We Love Our Bosch!

The in-freezer ice maker makes so much ice, and the in-fridge water dispenser works flawlessly. The fresh produce drawer keeps fruits and vegetables much longer. The one downside is the single in-fridge drawer, which is tricky to open; it would have better to have two drawers instead of one that goes all the way across. With Bosch quality, purchasing this fridge was a no-brainer.

I have had this one afternoon and find that it has a lot of space in the doors to hold large items. The menu feature will help me keep the temperature base on what I have inside or an ECO or Vacation mode. I bought this model for the middle drawer (cool fresh) for my produce. The home connect app was easy to set up and will remind me when to change filters (a big plus). I haven't made up my mind where to put the equipment bar as for a counter depth refrigerator--this one has lots of space. The freezer bonus is that it has 2 addtional pull out trays vs. one big bucket--so you can really be organized.

The middle vegetable and meat/cheese drawer is so convenient and keeps food the perfect temperature. The refrigerator is very quiet, even when dispensing ice. Even though it's a counter depth refrigerator, I have more interior room than my previous deep refrigerator. Plenty of room in the freezer too. It only requires 1" behind it, making a true counter depth. I also love the water dispenser inside the refrigerator instead of the door which really contributes to the sleek look of the appliance.

Home Connect - Bosch refrigerator

Bosch French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator

Bosch designed the functionality of the interior of this refrigerator so well that you have ample space to store what you need. The ice maker in my previous unit never made enough for our family of 4 and always had to buy bagged ice for company - no more; This one really does the job. Excellent fridge, I totally recommend.
