Great Range

Absolutely love my Bosch duel fuel range. It really is a beautiful appliance. Looks modern. Easy to keep clean. 6 burners! The oven is has a large capacity and cooks everything beautifully. I've had it for 3 months and can't say enough about the quality. So happy!

Very nice range, even better customer service

We did have an issue with a bad chip when we first recieved our unit that caused the clock to run fast and the oven to give a false temperature reading, but Bosch was very fast and very communicative during the repair process. I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to get my unit fixed. We have owned many ranges over the years and I would rate this one as one of the best.

Reliable Beauty

Baking and roasting have been a dream. Baked goods have come out beautifully and the prime rib we roasted was the best ever. The high BTU cooktop has made searing and simmering equally doable. We also love the look of the range and it enhances our kitchen.

It’s been good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd range we got, the first was sent back due to computer not working and the oven would not heat. So they traded out for this range and so far so good! I've been cooking and baking away. The only thing we have noticed as of now is the clock won't keep time, it keeps gaining minutes. We can deal with that. I have yet to use the different options for oven yet but will be making Christmas cookies soon!

Turned on oven and waited an hour per instructions but the oven Never heated up! Had a service tech come out the following week and he couldn't fix it. He tried many different things and ordered a new part. Waited another week and tech put it in and ran many options but still. Oven didn't work! He said he could order another part but would be in back order. I talked to staff at local store and they were willing to trade it out for the floor model. Had it switched out the next day and checked it over and it all worked!!!! After much stress I am glad to say this range does work well and I'm happy with it. I'm not sure what was wrong with the original range but hard to believe it didn't work right from warehouse.

Review Bosch Duel Fuel Freestanding Range
My new Bosch range works just fine. One quirk is if the plate on top of burner is not perfectly in place the burner will shut off within 5-10 seconds. A safety feature no doubt. I didn't figure this out ... my builder did.

Good Quality, No Issues

We were somewhat constrained on replacement options because of the space we had to fit it in. That being said we're very happy with our purchase so far and have had no issues in the 2+ months we've had it. I know this range is industrial grade, but the burners are VERY powerful - even the lowest output is still very strong.

Great range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great range. I really like the electric oven and the multiple rack setting for baking cookies. I can bake 2 large racks of cookies and never have to rotate or turn the racks and each cookie is perfectly even.
The gas cooktop is also great. The large burner has plenty of BTUs for fast sautéing and the small burner hold a good simmer.
The only complaint is sincere the day it was installed the clock has gained about 20 minutes in time each week. After 3 months
Bosch has not resolved the issue.

Very Nice Addition.

When it works, it works well. But! The electronics malfunctions without warning which prevents use of the oven. The instructions for cleaning spills on the bottom of the oven are not clear. Can oven cleaner be used if 409 does not remove a spill? It's not clear what alterntive cleaner may be used if 409 does not remove the spill.

Disappointing!
The oven doesnt work, it never worked and try getting someone here i a timely manner for repairs. The retailer is horrible. Not Bosch's fault but they should be careful who they let represent them. I want a new stove but have to wait for repairs. That is crazy sinece it is brand new!

Like so many other reviews we are having the same issue. Cook too works but not the oven. I think it worked once since we owned it. Have been waiting three weeks now for parts to arrive. When you turn the oven on the clock resets and nothing happens. Should have spent the extra money and went with a Viking. Bosch needs to do something with all these customers having the same issues. Seems like shortcuts were made during Covid.

Several electrical issues
When switching the oven to Bake, it produces 3 beeps and will not heat. This is the same with convection back. When setting the temperature, the lowest you can set is 550, the highest being well over 800. Clearly has some electrical issue. The only things that work are Pizza mode for some reason (heats fine then), and Broil. Bake refuses to turn on. Waited on hold for 40+ minutes before a representative was available on the phone. Issue is still not resolved nearly a year later.

Some oven settings reset the appliance, some didn't do anything, convection roast actually worked for some reason. However when the oven was on the knobs on the stove were too hot to touch. It took a month to get a service person to look at it, identified two parts that need replacing, but no lead time was given. I am working with the dealer to replace it with a different brand.
I will never buy another Bosch appliance off any kind.

Too many electronic issues
We purchased this range as part of a kitchen renovation. It looks great. I love a few little features such as the oven light staying on while it's on and the proof setting. However, after installation we immediately noticed the clock couldn't keep time (actually gained time rather than lost over time). It took 4 service visits and 3 component replacements before Bosch finally acknowledged the issue. We also have intermittent issues where, when using the cooktop, the display panel will reset (as if power has been lost). It's now been about 10 months since installation and the oven has stopped working. In most settings, no heat is produced. On convection bake, the display shows 876 and will not show below 550. It's hard to comprehend spending so much on an oven and it's unusable less than a year later. We have had other Bosch appliances through the years and been happy. This has completely changed our opinion of the brand.

No Oven!!!
Like many other reviewers, my oven quit after 6 months. No oven for Thanksgiving and now no oven for Christmas. The service rep gave me a date of 1/10/22 to get the parts. Said he has seen this issue a couple times with this product. Bosch needs to recall this product or provide customers with a complimentary extended warranty. I feel confident that this will happen again with the new parts. Not really the quality I was expecting for such an expensive product.
