About this Item

Overview

Bosch 800 Series 36 in. 3.7 cu. ft. Convection Oven Freestanding Electric Range with 5 Induction Burners - Stainless Steel

Features:

Industrial-Chic Design
The bold freestanding design with pedestal feet and heavy duty knobs makes the industrial-style range a focal point in any kitchen.

Combi ZoneTM
Combi ZoneTM feature combines 2 cooking zones into 1 for more flexibility and larger pans.

Large 3.7 cu. ft. Capacity Oven
Large 3.7 cu. ft. capacity All-in-One oven accommodates many dishes and combines multiple kitchen appliances into one. A full extension telescopic rack offers easy access to the oven cavity and glides effortlessly even with heavy casserole dishes.

Faster cooking with induction
When you place a pan on an induction cooktop and turn it on, an electric current travels through a coiled copper wire, which produces and applies heat directly to your pan. Heating the cookware directly prevents heat loss (plus, the area surrounding your pan remains cool to the touch). You'll also notice the ease of clean-up.

Even cooking
A third heating element in the back and a fan circulates heat evenly so you get evenly golden results no matter where you place your pan.

Easy to clean glass surface
The glass surface cleans easily with a simple wipe compared to gas cooktops, so keeping your cooktop sparkling clean is easy and convenient.

Additional Features:

  • Industrial-Chic Design: features heavy duty metal knobs and a bold design, along with high-performing function.
  • Induction Cooktop: uses the cookware to generate the heat for faster, more efficient heating.
  • Combi ZoneTM: combines 2 induction zones into 1 larger area.
  • Convection Multi-Rack: bake evenly on multiple racks with this powerful third element that allows for thorough heat distribution.
  • Generous Capacity: fit large dishes with 3.7 cubic feet of space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy to have rid ourselves of the "Big, Bad, Wolf". We love the speed and accuracy of induction. The top is easy to keep clean. The versatility of the induction areas makes cooking a breeze. Was a bit surprised the back splash unit did not match the holes of the unit. Installed it anyway. All working well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Addition to the home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were most interested in removing the gas line, and gas range from our home, and this unit seemed to be the best option. We appreciate Bosch quality and style and so far we appreciate the quality of the unit. I have read others complain of the sound of the oven fan, but, I do not find it over whelming or problematic. The ONLY complaint I have is how hard the settings on the knobs are to read. The font is small and since they are set below a slight cooktop overhang, they are a bit in the shadows. The biggest problem we faced is that our previous range was 40 inch wide, so we have a two inch space on each side of the range, happily we have the skills to create the wood to fill the space. So far.. a month in, we love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it so much, We purchased a 2nd! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved this stove so much in our first remodel, we purchased it again for a 2nd home remodel. Excellent quality, easy to use, and roomy inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fan isn't as loud, Induction GAMECHANGER [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Induction cooking gets some time getting used to but when you get it down packed, its a dream to cook on. Take your time and look on YouTube to learn how to cook on induction before becoming fully invested as it will take some time to get used to. Also make sure you have the proper pots and pans as the cast aluminums that your abuela used wont cut it on this. Weve experienced humming from our cheaper pots/pans but this is expected. Ive come from Nat Gas and electric cook tops and prefer induction anyday. The fan on the oven does run for a while after baking but its not as loud as some claim it to be, opening of the door cuts down on the time it runs. All in all, its a great investment for us. We use it everyday and without a hiccup. Cuts cooking time but a lot and virtually no hot spots when cooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is beautiful! I was feeling pretty materialistic as we built our house--too many things to buy or select at once, but once this was delivered, I was in love -- no apologies. The very best range ever. So incredibly responsive. Roasted the most beautiful, delicious turkey I have ever cooked (I've cooked a few.) Boiling water is even a pleasure. Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my BOSCH 800 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching numerous induction stoves, on various websites and professional reviews, my husband and I chose the BOSCH 800 Series Induction freestanding range. We decided to switch from our combination electric and propane cookstove that we have had for many years. We wanted to get away from propane gas due to the dangerous chemicals is reported to emit from propane and we wanted a product that was more energy efficient. We had a 2-oven, 5-burner stove, and wanted to get something similar in size. We found the BOSCH 800 as the replacement. And although there is only one oven in this stove, we found that the size of the oven is just as large, and deeper of our old stove, AND it is much more efficient than the two ovens that we had on our old stove. We also chose BOSCH because we had purchased a dishwasher approximately two years ago and that has been the best dishwasher, we have ever owned so we wanted to stay with BOSCH. We have used the BOSCH induction stove for about two months now. It takes a little time and a little learning curve on how an induction stove works but we are there and are thrilled with the speed of which we can cook on the top burners and the evenness of cooking in the oven. The options for cooking various ways in the oven; such as bake, pizza, multi-rack, convection roast, convection broil and broil allow for much more evenness in cooking and in some cases, speed in which items cook. Each of these options allows for the best cooking for individual products. We also chose this product because it has 5-burners, one of which has a "combi-zone" meaning that these two burners work together to cook items that need even heat on a long burner for large pots or griddles (like we use for our breakfast pancakes). We love the look of this product too. The stainless steel BOSCH that we opted for is beautiful and adds to our kitchen. I highly recommend the BOSCH range. We are very please that we have made this purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Have wanted an induction stove top for years. Finally went forward with kitchen changes, so that range was possible. I really like water boiling so fast, separate simmer setting for burners and cleaning top is easy. Oven is a little noisy when running but not too bad. All in all, I'm sorry I waited so long to get this Bosch range

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank heavens it’s back! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I accidentally ruined my Bosch stove's cooktop two days before thanksgiving last year. With guests coming I could not get a Bosch replacement in time. After a year of misery I replaced the inferior product I had purchased with my Bosch induction stove. The oven temperature is accurate and baking and roasting are a charm. The top cooks things evenly and at a consistent temperature. I am in 7th Heaven! Accuracy and fine workmanship. Who can ask for more

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my induction range! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are not many options available for 36" ranges and I didn't want to spend a lot of money to get something that wouldn't work well, so I went all in for the Bosch. I read some reviews online that said that the magnets in the induction ranges are what drives the price up. Well this Bosch must have amazing magnets. I needed to cook dinner in a rush, but realised I forgot to boil water for the spaghetti. I put on a large pot of water and had it boiling in about 3 minutes. With my old electric range, that could take 10 minutes or more. I am very impressed with the Bosch. If you have the money, I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful induction range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the first induction range I've purchased. The Bosch 800 is a powerful one which taks shorter time to heat up. It'll be nicer to have a double oven design to save space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great induction range! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new Bosch induction range! It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. The sleek design fits perfectly in my modern kitchen. I highly recommend this range to anyone in the market for a reliable and efficient cooking appliance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range has a nice sleek look and substantial feel. The dials are intutitive and everything works as intended. The cooking is even and the induction works great for a safe and effective cooking surface. My only complaint is the lip/drip edge on the front of the cooking surface extends out too far and can make it hard to the see the settings on the dials. Particulary the oven settings, they're in shadow and the contrast on the lettering isn't high. But it looks great and works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Wonderful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So thrilled to have this range in our little home. It is beautiful and we have fallen (big time) for the induction cooktop technology. I want to give five stars... HOWEVER.. We have one big problem with the unit.. and it is a big issue- the control knobs. The shiny knobs are beautiful, but they are nearly impossible to read. The font for the settings on the knobs are tiny. The knobs are so much more than just on/off so seeing them to properly set cooking times/teps etc. is critical. Adding to the problem the cooktop sticks out a little which helps to keep the knobs clean, but also puts them into a shadow, which makes it even tougher to see the words on the knobs. At first we thought it was just our "old" eyes, but, much younger family, neighbors and friends agree with us, it is very tough to see the settings. Haven't found a good work around yet, so we are keeping a magnifying glass and flashlight next to range for now. Again, we love the oven- the size of the unit, the look, but this issue with reading the knobs is something that we will need to find a work-around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our first induction range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love our induction range. The minor noises and all the other things people tell you fade away very quickly. So far the cooking and baking have all gone to plan. Slight learning curve with the cooktop, things get hot FAST and water boils ridiculously quickly which is a godsend if you have young kids that are hungry. Only annoyances are making sure you have the right size pans, and losing the "extra" heat you might be used to on a gas stove. The heat from a gas stove travels up the sides of the pan, which can be useful (or it can super heat the handle and be a HUGE pain). You lose the hot sides (bummer) and hot handles (hurray!). All that is to say, we made the switch and are very happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Final Induction Range [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted Induction for at least 10 years. Finally decided to go for it. Result is great range. It looks wonderful and is a pleasure to cook with. Burners work fast with marvelous control of heat levels. Warning lamps for usage -hot surface, etc are clear & easy to read. Adjusting to oven is a bit more of a challenge. Bake seems to run a little cool, but convection settings for both Bake & Roast seem normal. Haven't had a chance to try Pizza or Broil yet. To avoid redoing entire kitchen, I got 36" model. Glad that was necessary. Oven is huge; I'll never have to worry if a pan will fit again. All in all, I'm love this range & am sorry I waited so long to purchase it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice overall but some poor design choices [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plusses: - Style is great. It looks great. - Soft close oven door. - Physical dials for most functions. - Nice induction features (warm / melt / simmer modes). - Large oven window. - It's not super heavy, so relatively easy to move around if need be. Minuses - Oven has a light only on the left side. At this price point, there should be lights on both sides. - Oven does not report its own temperature! It has a cryptic bar with no temerature markings to indicate temperature. - The beep that the oven makes when it is preheated is short and incredibly quiet, and there's no way to make it louder. - The exterior cooling fan that turns on when the oven is hot is very loud. At this price point, it should be quiet. There's no excuse for that! - The markings on the dials are hard to read. - Oven interior dimensions are a bit smaller than they could be, compared to my previous 36" range. I have a 16" circular pizza stone that does not fit. You cannot fit two half sheet pans on one rack. On the plus side, the smaller oven is probably more efficient and is more than large enough for most things.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s neat My first experience using induction it's fabulous, however the burn off was very bad and toxic I wouldn't recommend this to a friend for that reason alone. Everyone I use the oven it's very unpleasant and I am scared it's gonna to hurt me at some point it's not a healthy smell
Date published: 2024-04-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unreadable dials The oven and induction range top work great. The dials are unreadable since they sit under an overhang that blocks any light.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noisy oven fan We bought this range 10/25/23 but wern't able to get it installed for several months. We like everthing about it EXCEPT for the very noisy fan that comes on shortly after turning on the oven and then persists after turning it off for quite a long time. Because we have an open design kitchen and living area, the fan is disruptive when sitting down to dinner. It's a real annoyance when we have company. I've taken to using my Breville toaster oven whenever possible to avoid turning on the oven. This is very sad for me because I love to bake bread which takes an especially hot oven. I've discovered I can cut the post-baking fan time if I leave the oven door completely open. If the noisy fan problem could be eliminated, I'd say I love this range. I especially like the shelves that are easy to roll out. The induction top is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A mixed bag [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this range is okay, but we're not thrilled with it. Pros: nice look and alignment with kitchen cabinets, ease of cooking. Cons: The oven is very shallow! And when using the oven, the fan is VERY LOUD. There should be an indicator light for when the oven is preheated; the beep is short and could go off while the cook is out of the room. The cooktop cook zone arrangement isn't the most convenient (i.e., the double griddle space would be better at the back, since it's not the most frequently used zone). We're glad to have made the switch to induction, but generally not crazy about this particular product; probably would not purchase again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good appliance I've owned the 80-0 series induction range for six months. The induction works fine except the glass surface is hard to clean. We have never used the oven. The free-standing air fryer meets all our needs. It is a complex beast to operate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish oven was not sooo loud We recently had this range placed in our kitchen. Wanted the Bosch brand and induction. Love the burner placement, the knob controls, however the oven is so loud I can hear it throughout my home, including basment, difficult to talk to another person in normal voice and louder than my Ventahood. So now avoid baking. I am truly disappoointed and frustrated that a range of this price point is so loud and that Bosch finds this acceptable. And yes we had a appliance person come to our home and said it was operating properly-needs that much airflow to cool the eletronics. I am waiting to hear back from appliance company we purchased from to see what my options are for I want it removed. In this day where quiet is wanted in home appliances, why is Bosch building noisy ranges?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad knobs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we love our new Bosch 36" induction range. The only problem we see so far is you cannot see the numbers on the knob. Fortunately there is a display on the cooktop for the burners and a front display for the oven. My suggestion to Bosch is make knobs that are easy to see.
