I Intended To Buy a Wolf
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to our recent complete kitchen remodel (Nov/Dec 2022) my Thermador stove top was a disappointment from the moment it was installed in 2007. The ignitors malfunctioned within the first months of owning it and were never repaired to satisfaction,
When it came time to finally replace it, I thought, by goodness, I would get the top-of-the-line. However, after comparing the functions, style, and price point of the Bosch 800 Series, and having such good luck with my other Bosch appliances, I decided to take a leap of faith and go with the Bosch, Having cooked on it now for over a month, I am happy to report - it is fantastic! The cooking surface is well planned, the gas burners even in heat distribution, the ignitors reliable and quick, and the clean up is easy peasy! I love it so much, I bought one for our home in the east. What a great appliance!

Cooktop Homerun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing cooktop! I have truly enjoyed cooking again with this cooktop! 5 burners is a must in our family and having plenty of space to spread big pots and skillets out is a great benefit. This is easy to clean and it simply looks sleek in our remodeled kitchen. The only "negative" I have is that when I place pans on the cooktop, the burner knobs depress just a bit and start clicking. It was a little adjustment not to place anything on the knobs. A small adjustment for a wonderful tool.

Spark igniters stay on when using unit.
I don't know if this is normal. All the igniters stay on when using unit. I would think this will burn them out quickly. I am a licence plumbing contractor and have installed may gas stoves-cooktops and have never incountered this. Is this normal for this unit. This unit is in my home.

I love my cooktop and it was easy transition from electric to gas! The only problem I see with it is if you put a tray on top it tends to hit the igniter!

Using Our New Bosch 800 Series Cooktop NGM8646Uc

We are pleased with his recommendation and our decision to purchase the unit. After two months, it functions as described, excelllent control over the heat adjustment required for cooking and keeping food warm. Nicely constructed with metal knobs and easy-to-clean. Would recommend this product to anyone seeking a well-designed and functioning unit.

Worth the wait!!!

Best cooktop I have ever owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched to Bosch from Samsung and I am loving it so far. The heat distribution is awesome. The black cook top looks really nice in our kitchen. It's easier to clean, grates are less heavy than other cooktops and overall very good quality.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a little over a month and love it so far. The knobs can be a bit sensitive. If you accidentally bump them, they make the clicking sound like they're trying to ignite. It's definitely not a deal breaker though!

I especially liked that it came with hookups for electric and gas as we started in this house with electric and switched to gas. I was even able to use it last night in the storms during the power outage! It looks great and cleans easy too.

Very nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to replace a 30 year old unit. Had to make the opening about a half inch wider as this is 37" wide as opposed to the 36 in unit it replaced. I do like the black finish. Easy to clean as every piece can be removed. Would buy it again.

I read all the reviews before buying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the reviews and researched other manufacturers before purchasing this cooktop in black. It was easy to install though the 4 bolts used to secure the cooktop to the granite counter was a little tricky because it was a tight fit. All the burners work great. I tried the automatic relight feature by blowing out one of the burners and it relit immediately. I am really happy with this purchase and the way it looks in the kitchen.

Great Cooktop

Only issue I have encountered so far is that the knobs are sensitive and will "click" as if they are being lit if something is barely touching. We had one day when we were cooking that it kept "clicking" as if igniting but was already going and nothing was near the knobs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is my first gas cooktop so my review may not be the one to read. Due to many delays, I received a dinged cooktop in the rear of center element. I accepted it as I had no clue when I would get a replacement. I feel the flames are high and cook uneven, but I have been an electric cooktop user for majority of my life. I am having the installer return to my home to see if the ding in the rear of the cooktop is the culprit. It cleans easily. It is deeper than other gas cooktops, so the installer will need to cut into the drawer, but same was needed with my electric cooktop in my prior home. Still very worth it. I know the quality is superb. I just wish the delivery delays were not so extensive. I actully ordered the glass gas cooktop, but it is make in Germany, which no known ETA. My only frustration is the instructions specifically re the Simmer cap is not expliciit enough due to so many models.

Works well, looks good
This lives up to the reviews of working really well and has a great look to go along with our dark graite countertop. The only issue we has is that the control knobs got a little discolored (a redish hue) even though we were very careful and only used water and a soft cloth.

5 Burner Cooktop
Purchased three months ago, so far good performance. Cleans easily. There are uneven flames on two of the burners. Cleaned and checked for foreign objects, but could not correct the inconsistancy. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Great usage of counter space
We bought the cooktop about three months before finally getting it installed. We waited too long, is is easy to use, and extremely easy to keep clean.
Our only concerns are the depth of the bottom of the cooktop and the placement of the gas inlet. Since we have a drawer directly under the cooktop we had to make a major modification to the drawer in order to clear the gas inlet. If the gas inlet was on the back of the base of the cooktop instead of under it, it would saved many hours of work modifying the existing drawer beneath the cooktop.
