Great IMAX surround sound
I have invested in Bose products for over 40 years. Bose QC bud products are superior in sound. I didn't think it could get any better until I purchased Bose QC Utra 2. The modes and immersive audio options are magnificent.

New to the Bose Family
My very first Bose purchase. I don't care or know much about audio quality, bass levels, sharpness, etc. I need my earbuds to do one main thing: listen to music and it does exactly that. It's so comfortable and super cute. Ladies, get the plum color buds...they are adorable!

Great Lossless HiFi Sound, great sound canceling and connection to my Android. Great mids and highs and bass especially for Audiophiles as myself. A little big for cases I've seen but that makes up in sound.

A Little Road Test
I have been enjoying the noise canceling generation 2 earbuds for several weeks now.
So far, I’ve been using them in a relatively quiet, static, environment.
I have not yet had opportunity to take these on the road for long distance motorcycle riding … soon!
I hope to soon offer a detailed review once I put several miles on them with my Harley Davidson Road Glide and my Honda GoldWing. Two very different bikes with different ambient noise levels and decibels from the engine and road surfaces.
You no longer make the wired, noise canceling, earbuds (they were the best, so, I bought two sets of your, top of the line, generation 2 earbuds. While riding my bike, I plan to use one set of earbuds beneath my helmet while the second set charges in my tour pack. I plan to use them in this open road environment on a 365 day long distance motorcycle challenge. Fingers crossed that they hold up to the extreme heat, cold, sun, rain, dust, high vibration and constantly changing ambient sound levels for the year.

More than worth the price!
While I am still adjusting the fit (I haven't tried all the bands yet), I am very satisfied with the sound & performance of these earbuds. The only thing I have found that has been able to over-power the quiet mode & bleed thru the earbuds was a hammer-drill, but, the earbuds reduced the noise level to a comfortable level.

Great Call Quality
These earbuds are top notch. The call quality is the best out there for earbuds. I had the regular Quite Comfort before this in the call Quality was horrible. Wind noise is non-existent with the ultra Gen 2. Overall these earbuds are the best out there right now and I highly recommend.

Absolutely Fantastic!
These are fantastic! I love the sound quality. I didn't think the sound quality could be improved as the older generation was great but somehow it's even better! Also, there is a noticeable improvement on the noise cancelling. I would absolutely recommend these.

I have been using these earbuds now for about a month with my Bose ultrasound bar. They are amazingly quiet and make sure that I am able to concentrate on what I am watching. I love that I can connect them to the sound bar and another person can still listen to the sound bar.
It would be super if we could connect two Bose headphones to the sound bar S we could each control our own volume without disturbing the people in the surrounding area.
Just a note the volume up and down feature is very touchy.

These 2nd Gen Ultras are an absolute delight to use. The noise cancelling is phenomenal, the Midnight Violet is a great color scheme, and the bluetooth connection is seamless.

Great improvement over the gen1
This is a great improvement over the 1st gen. I didn't think it was possible to make them sound better. They also connect much faster through Bluetooth to my devices.

Well worth the purchase
Ugraded from the Bose Ultra QC's to the Midnight Violet 2nd Gen and love them. If it's possible, they sound better then the 1st gen's. No issues with the Bluetooth Connectivity, noise cancelling is even better then before. Would definitely recommend them.

Hours of comfortable listening pleasure.
I am loving these new earbuds. I have been hooked on Bose earbuds since getting my first wired pair in 2009.
I do love the sound quality, but there are tons of offerings out there with great sound quality. Why I stick with Bose is because of the tip design, they don't use mushroom tips that have to be forced into the ear canals, they use umbrella tips that comfortably seal at surface. Mushroom tips give me earaches that last several days, this style allows me to enjoy them all day, without any problems.

Fixes all the quirks with the gen 1
I’ve been using quietcomfort earbuds for years and these are the best yet. I liked the previous gen but all the quirks were fixed with this one including poor call quality from the mic , the annoying tap when you are stretching and your earbuds cut out , and the wireless charging case addition. Big improvements , amazing noise cancelling. I can’t hear people clanking weights at the gym or airplane noise at all. Big fan!
