Different Settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My regular toaster is small and doesn’t have the different settings like this toaster. I like the options it gives if you are roasting a bagel or if it’s frozen. It’s also toasted my bread evenly.

Love the bit more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t even want to admit how many times I’ve burnt something trying to get it “a bit more” toasted. When I saw I had the opportunity to get a free appliance from Influenster for my honest review I was so excited. When I saw the options I had to choose from and saw one was a toaster with “a bit more” function I knew it was mine. So yes I did get this in exchange for my review but know now I would buy this sucker in a heartbeat! It’s a good toaster! First, let me go over the esthetics. I like that it’s simple and boxy, I’m so over the bubbles. It doesn’t take up any more space than my last toaster although honestly it looks bigger. I believe that’s due to its boxiness. I like that it’s one solid color. It makes it blend in better to my counter which I don’t want all my things to stand out. I have a small kitchen so I appreciate that it doesn’t stand out and blends well.
I wanted to do this review justice so I went to the store and got a variety of things to toast. Every picture you see I used the bit more function so you could see the difference. I prefer lightly toasted but did try heavier toasts to make sure it continued to toast evenly and it did. I could only submit so many photos and it didn’t make the cut. These photos show the difference the best I believe. It toasts more evenly than any other toaster I’ve owned. I love the bit more function. It’s perfect for me as I can never get the time right as I toast too big of variety to remember the right time for each item. It gets it just right.
I threw my other toaster out, this is a keeper for sure. This toaster is excellent and I’m very thankful I got to participate in this VoxBox. “A bit more” is what every other toaster is missing. Bravo Breville! You’ve crafted an excellent toaster!

Easy and quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The functions on the toaster are awesome and so easy to use. My favorite so far is being able to toast frozen bread and using the bagel function, they have came out perfect every time and I can use the “A bit more” button if it needs just a little more. It looks pretty and I’m ok with it actually staying out and not being hidden away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this toaster in exchange for my honest opinion. I needed a new toaster! I am bagel lover so the most important thing for me is that my thick New York Style bagels fit easily in the slots when split. This beauty has a bagel button! Believe me, I couldn't wait to try this out. The fattest bagels I could find fit easily and toasted to my personal idea of perfection. I am very happy with this toaster, it is pleasant to look at, easy to use and works perfectly.

Great Toaster!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this Breville Bit More toaster since mine stopped working. Now I had a basic toaster, never felt the need for all the extra stuff. Well I was wrong! 😆 this toaster is great! Now I'm not just saying this because it was free. Haha I like that I can see how long until my English muffin is toasted. It also has this awesome a bit more feature! So if I notice my muffin is not crispy enough I just press a bit more and boom, my English muffin is nice and toasted. As you can see from my picture I included I like my muffin really toasty. 😅 it is very easy to use and I like how wide the slots are so I can fit Texas Toast or frozen waffles in there no problem. Also the toast it gives is so nice and crunchy. I'm not the only one enjoying this toast my kids even agree it works good, does not burn their toast (our old toaster would) and they do not have to try and shove their waffles in the slots either. They just drop their waffles in and thats it. I say Breville for the win!

Breville toaster
We bought a Breville toaster 4 months ago and the unit stopped functioning; the heating coils ceased up. We returned the defective unit & it was replaced at no cost. They are an excellent company & stand by their products- of course we have other Breville products in our home & certainly wouldn’t concern ourselves with thinking of any other brand. I agree that they are not the cheapest on the market but we would rather have piece of mind. Cheers!! Bob Hart

Toasts well and is sturdy
We have been using the toaster for a few weeks now, and are very happy with it. It is well-made and has multiple settings for your specific kind of bread. Also, the slots are very generous width and lengthwise. And aesthetically, I love the classy look of it.

My family of 4 has used this toaster for over 8 years with no issues. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and consistent. Recently, it stopped working and after contacting Breville I sent it in for repair. They were unable to repair it, so they sent me a brand new updated version as a solution. This high level of customer service is valuable and has established me as a loyal customer. While shopping for another appliance (Espresso machine) recently, I chose the Breville brand because of this trust!

great toaster perfectly toasted bagels
Love this toaster. Purchased it 15 years after our old Black & Decker broke. We love it. Perfect toast, bagel and even cinnamon toast. Fits well on our counter and can be easily put away when we have other stuff on the counter.

Cherished Memory - I struggle to part with
I inherited this toaster when I lost my son in 2021. I was just curious what years you manufactured this specific model, 1742 is etched into the bottom. I don't know when he bought it but was trying to see if I could figure out when he did by your answer. He loved the job this toaster did and so did I. It worked fine last week but today it decided not to let the toast stay down. I cleaned it and tried everything I could think of to make sure the armature stays down but it won't anymore. I hate to lose it, it is a memory of my son and it might be silly to some, but I hold on to each memory I can. If you can let me know I would appreciate it.

I purchased this toaster about a month ago, and I am not disappointed. Toast actually toasts almost all the way through, it is not soft or soggy in the middle like it comes out in most toasters. The 'a bit more" feature is super helpful because it actually does as it says, I am very happy with my purchase.
