Oh No!
The IQ teapot is my MOST FAVORITE kitchen item other than my Breville Smart Oven which I give as a wedding or housewarming gift! I am so so so sad that my IQ teapot is getting 'cranky' and very tempermental. It keeps beeping, turning off and on, and the warming feature no longer works. WHAT HAPPENED? I don't know how to fix it and my mornings are not the same - no tea, no matcha, no hot chocolate, no bedtime tea ... WHAT DO I DO ... A few good, wonderful years together and now my 5-star product just isn't the same. I am so sad and forlorn! It's like losing a good friend.

Very nice kettle
I like that I can pour as fast as I want and it does not dribble at all. It’s very easy to operate. It has a nice large capacity. It’s very nice looking. My only minor complaint is that it beeps every time I pick it up or put it back on the base, but the beeps are not loud, so it doesn’t really bother me.

Love my electric kettle!
Great electric kettle. I love the different temp functions although honestly I use the hottest most of the time. I like the keep warm button though cause sometimes I forget to use the water right away but need it hot for my pour over coffee.
Only thing is that I used my kettle every day multiple times and it seemed to stop working after a year. Breville has been great with their warranty though!

We just purchases again to replace our 7 year old kettle of the same model. Heats very quickly and has ample temperature choices. Although I wish it were more stylish, I wouldn't change kettles because it works so well.

Have had this Breville kettle since at before 2012
I originally purchased the Breville IQ electric kettle from the old Teavana store before 2012 when they closed. I used it on occasion to brew up tea and it always worked very nicely. Loved the ability to get the temperature needed for the tea I was brewing - Earl Grey, sencha green tea, herbal tea or even boiling water to pour down a drain to keep it clear. Lately, I've been using the IQ kettle nearly every day to brew up a flask of tea to bring to work. I've never had any problems with my kettle. No rust, the top glass hasn't broken, or any other problem. Best product I've ever bought and if it ever quit on me, I'd buy the IQ again or another Breville electric kettle. I'm very happy with my kettle - thanks!

Easy to select the water temp and to pour the hot water
I’m hoping that the glass lid holds in the frame. My previous Breville kettle had to be replaced because replacement lids were unavailable

Great purchase
I'm a huge fan of tea and previously owned a stovetop kettle. My husband has bugged me to get an electric one but I was super hesitant. Happened to stumble across this one and decided to try it out after I fell in love with the food processor from Breville. I'm now wondering how I ever made tea without this!
Such a huge fan of the temperature settings - my tea temp comes out perfect every time.
Holds up well - I use my kettle at minimum 3x/week. Often times it's used daily or twice a day. Have had it for several years and still works well.
Easy cleaning. Since it's only water going into it, it's very easy to clean up.
Beeping is not overly loud or annoying.
Pours well - no risk of spilling hot water on yourself.

4 years and works like new
I bought our Breville kettle four years ago to use to use for warming water to the the temperature I want for making coffee with my Aeropress coffee maker. I have used my Breville kettle every morning for the past four years and it works like new. I have always bought Breville products because they work and they are dependable.

So far so good...
I bought the IQ Kettle after our first kettle, different company, suddenly stopped working. We have had it about a month and everything is working fine. I like that the controls are on the base instead of on the handle like our previous kettle. I wish I had more to say but, that's about it.
