Amazing machine at an amazing price
I’ve had this for about a month and genuinely use it every morning that I’m able to. I’m so glad I purchased this when I did!! Very easy to use. HOWEVER! The dual wall portafilter basket gets clogged a lot for me….. I’m not sure how to prevent this/clean it effectively to prevent this from happening so often. I plan on investing in a good coffee grinder so I’m able to transition into the single walled basket. Despite the clogs I will still do anything I can to get my espresso shot at any time possible!!!!!!!! I <3 my Bambino

Love My Breville Bambino!
I am extremely happy with my Breville Bambino espresso maker! The design is sleek, the operation is straightforward, and the espresso it produces is rich and flavorful. To take full advantage of its capabilities, I also purchased the Breville grinder, and together, they make the perfect pair.
My only tiny concern is that I wish the coffee double shot were a bit larger without needing coarser grounds—though this may be because I need to familiarize myself more with the machine’s settings. Regardless, it’s a fantastic product, and I look forward to learning all its features to maximize my brewing experience.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants café-quality espresso at home!

Great start to the espresso journey
After much research covering many models, I settled on the Bambino for my espresso needs. I’ve been very happy with the results and overall quality and performance of the machine. Unless you plan to dive deeper into the manual options of a more expensive home machine, I would highly recommend that you consider the Bambino as your home espresso machine choice.

Great little machine
This is my third Breville espresso machine, but first time with the smaller Bambino. First off, if you do not have a quality conical burr grinder, and have the space and cash for the full size machine, I would recommend it. The weight of it, as well as the dial for steam are awesome. Also grinding the proper dose straight into the wand is so easy. BUT. I chose this for the price, small footprint and I already own an awesome grinder. Be careful with the water tank. Do not remove it if possible because it is fragile plastic in my opinion. Just fill from the top. Also make sure to check the water level before using so not to burn the pump. The machine is overall lightweight, so dont overpack grinds or you will have to hold down the machine to get the wand in place. I haven't been forced to deacale yet, but I hear that can be an untimely issue for some.

Great little machine
Have used this for several months and it works flawlessly. It's nice it comes with both single and double wall portafilters. The automatic settings are programmable but I use a scale and time my own shots. Steam wand produces perfect milk for latte art. Takes up very little counter space. Much better results than with the cheap machines my spouse bought in the past that were aggravating to use and had to be constantly replaced. This turned out to be the perfect gift.

I bought this almost 3 months ago and it’s great!! No more Starbucks for me, I’ve already saved so much money and I can do everything with this machine as I could with more expensive ones I’d highly recommend buying one and get a good grinder you won’t be disappointed I sure wasn’t. I’m new to making espresso so it’s the perfect machine for me so I can learn before buying a more expensive machine. As i said it’s been 3 months and I’ve still to learn more with this machine

I received the Bambino as a wedding gift and it is a major upgrade from our previous espresso machine! It's quick to pull high quality shots of espresso and does a great job at steaming and frothing milk.

Great manual machine for a "refined beginner?"
We bought this machine for our boat. It is fairly easy to learn how to pull a nice espresso which is such a wonderful treat while on anchor and nothing available ashore.

Small, powerful home machine
After an eternity of analysis paralysis, I bought the Bambino, and I couldn’t be happier.
Right out of the box, this machine will pull a decent shot with ground coffee and the pressurized basket. Paired with a quality grinder and you get cafe quality at stay at home prices. Once dialed in the consistency is great and reprogramming the buttons makes repeatability easy. When company wants coffee it will pull shots and steam milk (yes alternative milk too) to everyone’s preference. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and wish I hadn’t waited so long before buying it.

I bought this machine about 2 months ago to replace a Delo machine that died after 3 weeks
I couldn't be anymore happy . The Bambino paired with a bottomless porta filter and a breville smart grinder is awesome
The only problem I have is the stock porta filter was dropped and can't be used
And unfortunately the grinder didn't come with the cradle so I'll have to purchase that separately

Best coffee ever
The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase this sooner. Better than Starbucks. I'm so spoiled that I don't know where I will get coffee while on travel. This is one great product.

My Bambino arrived about a month ago and I love it! I will admit there is a bit of a learning curve with manual espresso machines but it is sooo worth it! There is nothing better than being able to have a cafe style drink at home!

I bought this a month ago and have absolutely no regrets except I wish I would have bought it sooner. I would frequent coffee shops on a daily basis, and in the past month I’ve only been to the coffee shop twice! Love the free barista kit that was sent with the machine as well.

Perfect choice for a beginner!
Being able to set shot times for singles and doubles is excellent for a starter espresso machine like this. We also love the milk steamer and hot water dispense. We are all in on espresso, cappuccino and latte’s and actually gave away our Keurig, and make hot tea with this machine too! The portafilter that comes with the machine is a very important item as is helps you “cheat” for any poor distribution or channeling issues. So you can also get a naked portafilter and use that in addition to learn and improve skills along the way. One suggestion I have. Get a good and versatile coffee or espresso GRINDER! As you become more advanced and buy more varieties of coffee this is an essential item. Thank you Breville!

I got this for a Christmas present 2023. I am obsessed! I won't drink regular coffee anymore. I knew nothing prior to getting the bambino. Instructions were simple and watched hours of YouTube videos to pull the best shot. Now I get special fresh beans!

Great espresso
I've had this for a month or two. I absolutely love this machine. Super easy maintenance. You've got to learn how to dial in the machine to get the best shots. By this I mean you need to get the correct dose (use the razor tool) and the correct grind size (varies with each bean type). Be sure to get a good tamp, the one it comes with is crap, get a 44mm tamp. Get a scale to measure bean weight and output weight, get a wdt tool to spread out the clumps, get a puck filter, dump box, and tamp rubber pad. I think the single shots are the best. Milk steamer is awesome. Be sure to get a high quality grinder that is made to do espresso. I recommend the encore baratza esp.
