Right size and sturdy construction
First: good toast and easy to adjust for different breads. Have not used presets for bacon, fries, etc. Crispy reheat was good for pasta and shepherds pie. The app is a must for adapting recipes. Have to do some juggling and getting past their recipes to the section that shows single ingredients. Chicken legs teriyaki tender and juicy. Sheet pan veg and meat used the app recipe as guide for different mix of veg. Recommend foil on roasting pan if sauce is not added after cooking. Advise using Parchment paper; did not burn at 450 convection about 30 minutes. Crispy reheat function will be a favorite:does not dry out leftovers. There is a useful detail of a guide for rack placement inside the door. Convection is new to me and fast: love bone in thighs done in the time it takes to make rice!. Using range oven in Arizona summer is last resort. Cooking will be much easier with all the Breville options than with the old Black and Decker. Worth the price after using almost daily for 3 weeks. Doubt I will resist Tater Tots much longer, sigh.....

Very impressed!
I’ve never owned a toaster oven before and this model offers so much more than just a toaster oven. I’ve used every setting and it’s been simple. I’m loving how fast it comes to temp, how easy it is to clean and how much more we are eating leftovers now. The size is also perfect for our space. It’s made cooking exciting again!

Breville is the Best!
Had the larger Breville and wanted something a little smaller and less weight! This compact oven is fine, but it was too small and no interior light. Had to return!

Better than expected
I love my Smart Oven Air Fryer Compact. It performs better than expected, especially for baking. I've baked brownies, biscuits, and roasted an entire sheet pan dinner in it. This gem does everything promised. And it preheats in 3 minutes! Thanks for a great product.

So far, so good!
Love this new toaster oven w/ the added air frying. It’s easy to use and is a great addition. We had the old regular toaster oven and loved it too but it started to get buggy. This one works like a charm : ). Worth it!!!

Just the right size!

Amazing! Never looking back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer is absolutely amazing. It is compact sleek, and does the job perfectly. It looks great on my countertop and makes amazing dinner !!! I have made so much with this already from Greek style chicken to desserts that I saw online. It is so easy to clean because there’s a catcher at the bottom for anything that drops. Also, my food has never tasted better and I feel so much healthier with this air fryer. Thank you so much for this I am absolutely obsessed. The size of it is also very perfect because it’s very small and compact! Its a great size. In comparison to other air fryers, this one is definitely better in regards to flavor size and appearance.

High tech combo appliance

I have been trying mostly sides and toast/bagels to get a good feel for how this works and so far have been impressed. There is an app with tons of recipes that tells you how to cook each item (time/temp/setting) so makes this high tech and easy to learn. I’m excited to use this to replace my air fryer and toaster oven and free up counter space.

The capacity is actually quite surprisingly big. I was able to fit a whole personal pizza in it! Pre heats great and overall super helpful in the kitchen.

Amazing air fryer!!

I love the various settings and the ease of use. This air fryer seems to work better than my old air fryer- the food comes out crispier and it’s less noisier. Beautiful and saves time

We are a family of four and there is enough room for breakfast even though it’s the compact version. Cooked and warmed up everything evenly and fast! Saves a lot of time. There are many options for temps and types of food but it’s very simple to understand the instructions. Also uses way less electricity than my regular oven which is a plus. The overall aesthetics is beautiful, it’s modern and stainless steel so matches with everything.

Light weight easy to use

Bake quick and easy

Very easy to clean, I also like the directions wrote, very clear. The only thing I noticed bad is that the top get too hot.

Convenient and effective product!

It's the perfect size for a single person living in a one bedroom apartment, and it's an amazing toaster oven/air fryer hybrid product. I've been going through all the air fryer recipes on the New York Times cooking website, and I've enjoyed using this oven to make Brussels sprouts, crispy tofu, and sweet potato fries. I also make a loaf of sourdough bread every week (in my actual oven), but I slice and freeze and then toast when I want some bread. This oven is perfect for toasting up my frozen sourdough bread and for melting cheese on top for a sandwich. While I don't love the process of cleaning an air fryer after using it to make something like sweet potato fries or crispy tofu, the compact size of this oven isn't too bad to clean, and I like that I can remove the bottom piece of the oven to clean thoroughly. I received this complimentary product for my honest review.

The Ultimate Smart Oven for Perfectly Toasted Meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easily one of the best smart ovens I’ve ever used, and I’ve gone through quite a few over the past two decades. My family prefers toasted food over microwaved food, so I have high standards when choosing a smart oven air fryer that meets our needs.
The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Compact is the perfect size for my kitchen—it doesn’t take up too much space. I love that it comes with an air fryer basket, a holder tray, and a catcher tray that’s super easy to clean! The only minor issue is that the catcher tray removes too easily and doesn’t stay in place. I wish it had a mini lock, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
This oven has so many settings—my favorites are air fry and toast. You can also use it for bagels, pizza, broiling, baking, roasting, fries, and more. It’s truly a versatile smart oven. I also appreciate how easy it is to adjust the temperature, time, and even the level of toastiness. It uses a convection system with a fan and exhaust that circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven.
Overall, based on my experience so far, I’d rate this a solid 4.5/5. It’s fantastic and easy to clean. I just wish the catcher tray had a locking mechanism or at least a click sound to confirm it’s secured. It works pretty well and does not overheat either!
