Basic but better than expected
Replaced an old Broan Elite with this unit that was on sale. The 2-speed fan was quieter than expected and the LED lamps were much better than the old Elite. Got this model mainly for the rounded corners, as the newer hoods have sharp corners that can make a dent on my forehead. A good buy.

Great looking hood
This hood installed easily, is nice looking, quiet and very efficient. I love the dual bright lights above my stove. So glad I installed it and removed my old hood.

Fantastic unit!

Excellent range hood!
From the ease of installing to the excellent functioning this range hood is great at twice the price. The light is brilliant and the two speed fan functions perfectly. The streamline design is very inconspicuous when installed.

Looks and works great
Broan is a favorite name brand for kitchen appliances. The stainless steel looks modern. I use the light everyday! The filters are easy to remove and clean.

Hood fan and light.

Broan/Nutone Range Hood
I love this product, it is very quiet and has a nice, stainless finish, great led lighting and a high-quality appearance. I was adamant about features and led lighting. So glad I made this choice after much searching to find what I wanted in a range hood.

Plenty of Light and a Fan that Works!
This was a replacement for an older unit and I was pleased when the installation went as smooth as it it did, right out of the box. The appearance is very nice and the features are very effective, from the perfect lighting to the two-speed fan that does a really good job.

The produce is outstanding in every way.
Product was used to replace a over the range microwave in my RV. It had very good instructions. The optional exhaust fit perfectly. The exhaust fan is by far the best that I have had and the filters are very easy to remove. my favorite feature is the lighting.

We love how quiet the low setting is! The low setting is strong enough for every day needs. The LED lights are bright and light up the counter tops next to the stove. Only thing I would change is to have 2 stage light setting, otherwise it is a Great buy.

It's Perfect!
We had just installed our new glass surface,black & brushed stainless range and were looking for a new and matching appearance vent hood. The NuTone Mantra was a perfect replacement for the old, kitchen white UNVENTED hood we inherited and a perfect match to our range.
But when we used it--and when we broiled our first steaks--we were just AMAZED. You can see steam or smoke being pulled into the hood and actually feel a slight (and cooler) breeze as it pulls the heat and vents it at 300 CFM.
Appearance -- Perfect!
Functionality -- Perfect!
Satisfaction -- Perfect!

The features of the range hood is just perfect for my kitchen.
I so enjoy my new range hood. It pulls all the smoke and moisture out of my stove area. It is so quiet that at first, I didn't think it was running. And, best of all the lights are so bright I can see everything that's cooking!!

The product has good features and looks nice.
When our electrician was installing the product, he found a wire to the left LED was hanging down; and, he had to reconnect it. Also, the fan's slow speed position does not eliminate the odor very well. We normally hare to use the high speed position.

Nice for the Price and Easy Installation
This is a very nice range hood that was very easy to install. The fan is quiet and the lighting is great. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that the metal is very soft and thin because the screw went right thru when my husband tightened with the cordless screwdriver. Use washers to avoid this during installation. It's very light so we had no trouble with DIY.

Watch your head at 1st.
Nice design. It does protrude further out than previous Broan builder grade hood that I am replacing so watch your head. You may bump into it at 1st. One of the LED strip lights fell out but fortunately it just needed to be snapped back in place. Only 2 speeds. My old one had adjustable speeds.The low speed seems to low on this one. High speed is great but expectedly louder. Wish it was adjustable speed.

Love the fan; hate the LED light
This is a nice, slick unit. Installation was straight forward, but fussy: retrofitting this range hood (or any other hood for that matter) to existing duct work is just a fussy affair. I did have to cut some material from the hood to line up ducts. But I can't fault Nutone or this product for that, and the exhaust is great, once installed. There is a normal, and high level fan selection.
The LED lighting is a different matter; this AVSF unit has ON or OFF lighting only, it is a single level arrangement. And it is just much, much too bright. The ADSF unit has two-level lighting, but I don't think it'll be much better; LED lights are just bright, harsh and ugly no matter how you cut it. This lighting is so bright that it is a deal killer for us; we would not buy this unit again, and I doubt I'd go for the ADSF unit either; it is also LED, and
