A great looking and working hood fan!!!!
We purchased this hood fan as we have an open design kitchen/dining room/living room. It looks great! And better yet - works great too! Have already recommended this to a number of friends, and also one contractor likes it as well.

Fantastic Hood Vent
This hood vent was used when we rebuilt our house after a fire. It adds so much to our kitchen and works wonderful. The noise level of the fan is extremely low and with our open floorplan you do not disturber other areas of the house when it is running. Love this vent.

easy to install
The fan is really good it does what it is suppose to do suck hard. My fan started to make a noise when I turn it off. I am investigating what might be the problem. Overall very satisfied.

I love it, but I made it better. It kept burning bulbs out, 20w was too bright and hot so I use 15w front and 10w in the back. I left off the glass lenses because they kept too much heat on the bulbs. It's still plenty bright, I might install a dimmer someday. The chimney sections were too long for 8ft ceiling so I just cut a few inches off the unexposed sections, so the seam is now centered and I can slide the lower half up to service the motor and electrics. Ive left the exhaust fan on low for over a year to vent a smokers stink and it still works like new. Everyone's eyes go straight to my island, jealous haha. The sales girl talked me out of the glass model I thought I wanted because I'm a single male and no maid. I thank her every time I see her.

Nice look but issue with lights
I like this product from the beginning because it is a good value and fits nicely in my kitchen. The only issue that they need to fix with it is the light bulbs burning out. It stopped burning out when I did not put my oils on the halogen bulbs but as soon as I figure that out the lights short out constantly. Trying to figure out how to fix but no service people in area work on Broan. It is maybe a faulty transformer for the lights. If the lights worked this would be a great buy. But I have had issues with the lights since install and trying to get some help to get it repaired.

Love the fact that it is hidden
We bought this product because it is hidden in the cabinets. Made a big difference to a regular hood. Stainless unfortunately even though it looks good, is very hard to get clean. Also makes alot of noise when you set the knob past the 1st setting.

This hood has great features & very easy to clean
We just love our new Island Hood, it so very easy to keep clean and does
a good job of getting rid of smoke & cooking odors, Only problem we've had is with the light bulbs 2 blew out after only a month and 2 more after about 3 or 4 months. We've replace them several time.
