This is a wonderful upgrade to our older kitchen. The lights extremely bright and the amount of air that this vent hood moves is amazing. The vent hood that it replaced was very old and almost dangerous to use. It's mane cooking a whole lot more fun!

Great hood!
This is a really nice range hood. It works well and I love the three different venting speeds, it really has alot of draw. It was easy for our contractor to install, vented to the outside. The lights are nice and bright and I appreciate that you an pop the two vents into the dishwasher. Overall a great system.

BCSQ1 - This is a great value
My son and I installed this in 3 hour and removed a ductless-vent-hood with this one and installed an exhaust duct horizontal through wall and exterior brick. We only had to know out one brick on the exterior to insert the exterior wall plate which we purchased. Now we cook without having the oven exhaust recirculated into the home. Much cleaner air now!

It Works as Good as it Looks
The Broan 30-inch is a welcome addition to our kitchen. It looks great, and the fan has three levels that keep up with our cooking demands (making eggs to searing steak). The vents our easy to remove and clean. Highly recommend this product.

Looks great works as it should, but magnets stick
I replaced a bulky over the range microwave. So happy I did. The hood looks great and works fine, but i thought magnets weren't suppose to work on stainless steel.

love the look of my new hood
just had this installed yesterday, didn't have one before. love it except that the highest speed on the fan doesn't work right. the button doesn't stay on. but, it's so high, we probably wouldn't have used it much anyway.

Fan blade wobbles and unit vibrates

Overall - Love it.
The only complaint....the filters are billed as dishwasher safe. The very first trip through the dishwasher left both filters with very dark, very unsightly staining.

Lights are TOO bright
I just installed this range hood and although it looks nice and the fan works well the lights are so bright they are blinding. I wish these were dimmable bulbs. Is there anyway to make these bulbs less bright?
I did buy lower wattage bulbs that are tungsten rather than daylight and they are still really bright. I had an old nutone that was basic and had a low and high setting for the lights which I loved. I think I am going to have to return this. I used my old hood light as a night light in the kitchen. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Dont Buy
Cheaply made. Fan mount wasnt attached to one side of the sheet metal frame. Only two little nubs hold it in place on one side and the sheet metal is flimpsywhich causes it to pop out. Also as someone said before, the vent on a 12inch cabinte with full thickness doors vents on the front of the door. Thats just a warping issue waiting to happen.

Poor Quality Control
Product light bulb for one spot had a defective bracket. It wasn't cut right to hold it, wasn't attached so I couldn't install the light bulb and have included pictures of the left and right side to show the difference. Have to return it and drive all the way back to store along with not being able to replace it today. I'm glad I didn't install this first without inspecting it or I would have been extremely disappointed.
