Highlight of Kitchen Remodel
We were on a tight budget for our kitchen remodel but I knew that one of the first things that would be seen, walking into the kitchen, would be the vent. So this was the most expensive appliance I bought for the kitchen.
I wanted something that would catch the eye and this Broan Vent does the job. It's beautiful. Easy to clean the stainless steel and the filters are easy to remove. I wash them in the sink but understand they can also be put into the dishwasher. To me the lighting could be brighter, but it's sufficient. Anyway I love it and would recommend it my friends.

motor noise on lowest level
Well designed and well built. Looks nice installed. Only problem is a motor noise on the lowest fan level. Phoned Broan and they were aware of it and said it was normal. Would be nice not to have that motor noise as well as the exhaust noise. Medium and high are just exhaust noise.

Great hood for the money
The hood does a great job of removing smoke and odors. It looks very nice and is relatively easy to clean. I only have two gripes 1) the controls are hard to find without craning your head under the hood to find them 2) the knobs wear out and break relatively easily. I've had this for three years and have had to replace both knobs every year.

Big on looks, small on power
Looks very nice and industrial. Definitely does NOT have industrial strength. If you want something that exhausts well, this one isn’t it. If you only do minor cooking and want something that looks sleek. By all means buy this
