Needed a charcoal filter for indoors
I wanted to buy a Broan charcoal filter for a new Broan hood, but for this model they apparently do not make one. That was not indicated in the description. You must buy a their aluminum filter AND a charcoal filter, and clip it to the aluminum frame. A pain, and more expensive.

got the filter because I"m running it ventless, its a brand new hood vent, just installed in a new home build, and the fan doesn't work once installed, hood light works, but vent fan will not work. really had nothing to do with the filter I bought, but what good is it if the fan doesn't work.
