Great printer and terrific long lasting ink.
We’ve had it for over a year and still have hundreds of pages worth of ink left. We print a lot. The printer itself is excellent. Prints fast and well. Easy to use.

A gift for my Parents. They Love it.
My Mom does research and prints quite extensively. In 3 months she has used almost all of the Black Ink. She has printed over 500 pages. It's a networked printer so we can print from anywhere, from our phones, and also double sided.
The color cartridges are still surprisingly at full capacity(1,000 pages remaining). Overall it has met and exceeded expectations.

Nice but ink doesn’t last long
I have used Brother printers before and loved them. However, I priced this one and the ink doesn’t last near as long as it’s advertised. I have to purchase new ink and I haven’t printers anything close to 3,000 pages

Nice printer but the ink didn't last as advertised
Bought this printer January 2020 for home use. Supposed to get 3000 pages on the LC3033 cartridges. We've printed a total of maybe 300 pages, mixed color and b&w. Cartridges are nearly empty but the printer stopped printing-'out of ink'. Pulled the cartridges and all four had a small amount of ink left. Reinserted them and the printer is now reading nearly full and is printing. Not sure what to think at this point but I expect it will be out for real before long. I'm definitely not looking forward to spending $100 plus on cartridges every few months...otherwise it's a good printer, fast response time over the net, easy setup with my Acer Chromebook laptop, good quality printouts, just an ink hog :-\

Only basic printing
I have a project where I need to use Vellum. Vellum - I have tried four brands only jams the printer...every time.
I have tried to feed one sheet at a time and that doesn't work either. Actually plain paper won't hand feed either.

THE PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT NOW
The printer demands that I put the new subscription ink in or it won't print my documents. I had just purchased Brother ink and do not want to throw perfectly good cartridges away. Brother now controls what I can do with my printer. Really?
