GREAT PURCHASE!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We discover something new everyday with this thing! I absolutely love that we upgraded our new kitchen with this appliance. If you only use the microwave feature on this, you are truly missing out. Been using less than 1 month and still have a lot to learn. So many different functions to choose from and plenty of space use for cooking. Looks amazing and the technology is out of control... lol We've enjoyed cooking in this so far and are really looking forward to seeing what else this thing can do!

Easy functionality and stylish!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful oven. We just installed the 30" wall oven below a couple months ago and added this to 5-in-1 to complete the look. We haven't used all of the features yet but the easy to follow cooking, reheating, melting, soften instructions just for the Microwave alone are amazing. Performance wise, the soften butter feature didn't soften 1 stick as stated, so I had to adjust to click 2 sticks of butter to soften 1 stick but the cool part is you can modify any setting to work for your needs. The capacity is very large which is great when you don't want to use a full-size regular over. My special needs son needs as much tech help in the kitchen as possible and the easy controls will help make his life much easier for cooking or reheating meals. The design is stylish and sleek. The same day as the install, we received a compliment on how the ovens look from someone who had never been to our house before. We look forward to trying the cookbook and eventually completing the look of our kitchen with all Cafe appliances when we remodel the ktichen.

Amazing features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it was just a pretty microwave--it isn't. This thing is basically like a second oven and toaster. Great touch features and makes reheating, waring, melting, crisping so easy. It even makes sure you have the correct plate in before you go. So happy that i purchased to complete the GE Cafe suite

Awesome Oven
Where has this oven been all my life? It does everything! Microwaves, bakes, broils and makes left over fried chicken just as crispy as ever! I've had my new Cafe ovens a week and haven't even used my real oven because this one does everything. The screen is user friendly and guides me through the process and reminds me to use glass or metal pan. This oven is really idiot proof for the inexperienced chef (me!).

Microwave Option on Smart HQ is not supported !!
I really wanted to love this oven. It is gorgeous but the functionality is frustrating. One of the main reasons I purchased it was for its Smart HQ capabilities. My Mom is elderly and doesn't see well. The idea of controlling it through voice commands was exciting. It turns out the "microwave" option for this oven is not supported via the app or voice, only the "oven" options. We use the "microwave" option much more frequently and it is so dishearteing to hear this option was not included. Had I known that prior to purchasing I would have found a different option. On top of that, you have to go through several steps just to microwave something for 2 minutes....So disappointed as I love the look.

Cumbersome, excessive beeping.
The digital 'menu' is long and cumbersome. In most cases it takes no fewer than 5 selections just to microwave something for one minute. Additionally, when cooking is complete, even after you remove the food the oven continuously beeps at you until you "dismiss" it. And I'm not talking about the timer - I know that if I set a timer I have to turn it off. If the cooking is complete and the door is opened, the oven should be smart enough to know that the food has been taken out of the oven. ALL of my prior microwave ovens functioned this way.

Defect with the appliance from
Manufacturing defect with the appliance
After the first use, the stainless steel interior of the microwave developed unsightly brown spots that could not be removed through washing. This appears to be a manufacturing defect with the appliance. Unfortunately, this issue is not covered under the warranty. Clearly, the aesthetic appeal of this microwave does not justify the financial burden of addressing this defect by purchasing another.
