So Far ...Loving It!
We have been using ours for less than a month and we love it! Love the choices of burner size and griddle. Also, love the oven and available options. Have had some issues with trying to get some features since with microwave's venting using the app. The feature button needed does not exist on our oven's touch screen. Thankfully, I don't have to use the app. It is nice to get notifications for preheat, timer, etc., when you aren't in the kitchen.

We love our new range. The first thing I noticed was the increased range top space. Moving the oven control panel from the back of the range to the front of the oven greatly increased our range top space. The heat output and burner arrangement makes cooking fast and easy. This is a great range. My wife loves the additional oven features including convection and air fry. After cooking in restaurants for several years I never thought I would see this type of quality in a residential range. By far and away the best range we have ever owned.

Love how quick this heats to boiling, top burners spacing is great old stove had one large burner and the other three were basically useless, all of the burners on this stove are fantastic, love the adjustability in the heat levels. Make sure you lube the oven for the racks with a recommended product, was concerned about them not sliding well but after lube they are great.

My new range is more then I could have ever imagined. Sturdy grates and strong gas burners. The stainless steel makes cleanup so much easier then what had with my previous range. The oven is on point. But the wifi ability makes life so much easier. You can't go wrong with this range in your kitchen!!

Cafe 30” range
This range is stylish. The controls are easy to use however, the igniter comes on before gas flows; forcing you to turn the knob beyond the ignition point ,then back to the ignition point; making for a rough ignition. The controls are not shielded from grease splatter, thus must be cleaned frequently. Over all though the range appears to be well made.

Outstanding Quality!
We have owned other GE appliances in the kitchen before that were of great quality but these range is outstanding. I'm a very tech person and love that this is a smart range/oven but not too smart which is very good. They now try to make appliances too smart and they become too complex for what they need to be or do. This is is just right and the quality of the parts and finishes are beautiful looking and well built. Love how fast everything gets going and the notifications that we get.

Seems to have conflicting responses. Could someone from PCRichard or Cafe answer as well? I read an article that air frying capabilities are available for most newer GE/Cafe rangers after a software update. Thank you

What’s the difference between stand alone and slide in?
Hello!
Freestanding Ranges can stand alone anywhere in the kitchen. Finished panels on the front and both sides give them a complete look from any angle.
Slide-in Ranges sit flush with the countertop for a more built-in look. The sides and back are unfinished since they are designed to slide in between two cabinets.

You do not need to season the grates, the griddle is pre-seasoned, the owners manual states
"Before first use, rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly. Prepare the surface with cooking spray or
vegetable oil.

How does the cook top clean does it scratch or buble
It cleans very well with a microfiber cloth. It does not bubble. You must be careful replacing the burner grates as they can scratch the top panel of the front stainless steel.
