I preferred to have a grate, so I purchased the grate which I thought I would use more often than the griddle. This grate fits perfectly on my new oven. I've been cooking on this grate for a while and it shows no warping from the heat and no rust after washing. I recommend getting this grate if you have a 5 burner stove top.

It makes for a classier appearance than the griddle that my GE oven came with, and is a nice spot to store pots/pans if they need to cool off a bit after cooking! Would highly recommend purchasing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement for the Meh Griddle We loved the idea of the griddle on our GE stove however it scratches so easily (and you cannot purchase another of that griddle) that I felt I had to buy some kind of replacement. This was the best and only affordable option. It works great, far more substantial that the griddle it came with.
