Sound is low
I love the multiple features and the size is more than adequate for most of the cooking and baking for my husband and me. It is very easy to operate after reading and following the instructions on how to use the controls. I have not yet tried the pizza setting, but the other ones have worked perfectly! The only downside for me is the sound volume. Even at the highest setting, which is the factory default, it is very difficult to hear from 6 feet away. The no setting has no sound at all. Other than that, I’m very pleased.

GE CAFE Couture Toaster Oven

Toasting is very uniform but takes longer than a toaster, have to remember to start toast sooner. Lots of functions and very easy to use.

New Appliance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this unit due to our previous oven (Calphalon) breaking down just before Thanksgiving. It was very easy to set up and the instructions were easy to follow for the different cooking modes. It looks great in the kitchen and pairs well with our current appliances. The only dissappointment was the size (width) wasn't as wide as mentioned on the advertisements. Otherwise, I am looking forward to using this oven and anticipating perfectly prepared food.

Versatile appliance

Amazingly precise control for this type of device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also have the Cuisinart table top oven and I could write a positive review for that one as well, but this one surpasses that one with the level of computer controls that it provides for the cooking cycle. There is less chance of burning things and it does a very gentle toasting of cheese/ham sandwiches. The butter browns perfectly. I also cooked some steaks to medium rare and they came out perfectly. One word of advice is to be sure to put water in the tray underneath or smoke will escape and trigger your smoke alarms. I also have the Cafe induction stove with two ovens and they accompany each other very well.

The best appliance I ever owned

A Swiss Army Knife for the kitchen

Love this oven!

It’s replaced several of our usual cooking methods and freed up so much counter space. Great Options

You don’t have to sacrifice functionality for styl
After years of different stove, top ovens, we decided to invest in the GE couture Oven and we will never go back to another oven!
We’ve been using the oven now for one year. It looks brand new! The handles are still the same shiny metal that they were in the beginning and the oven is white exterior is still bright white. The glass door is unscratched and we use it every single day!
We use every cook mode. We’ve baked, and baked the same as our Thermidor oven, we toast in the toaster every day, and it has amazing capacity and perfect toasting, and we use the air fryer all the time
If you’re looking to cut down on the amount of appliances that you’re in your kitchen and replace them all with one that looks beautiful and works perfectly. I would definitely suggest this stove top oven.
Our son who’s in his 20s and doesn’t think too much about stove top ovens loves it so much that he asked for one!
It’s worth every penny!
We liked it so much that we went ahead and got the matching coffee maker and the matching espresso machine. With white marble countertops, white cabinets, and walnut accents and with our hardware that matches the GE hardware, it provides a seamless beautiful look for our kitchen. What we realize with this oven is that you don’t have to sacrifice on style in order to have functionality.

Do Not Purchase White Toaster Oven
Beautiful toaster oven when it was new. Purchased in May 2025 and didn't start using it until June, after our kitchen remodel was complete. It's only been 2 months and already the front/outside is discolored by heat use and nothing I have tried will clean it -- it's baked in. Very disappointed and it looks like the warranty doesn't cover cosmetic issues. Tried to upload a picture but not able to include it.

Buy it! You’ll love it and it’s many options!
We were slightly apprehensive of ordering this toaster oven with its many functions, but now we’re thinking why did we wait so long. It literally has replaced four or five cooking appliances that now sit dormant. My wife loves the controls and the temperature settings, I just like
everything that she cooks for me in it. Yeah, it’s a little more expensive than some toaster ovens that you might find, but with its quality and vast options it’s worth every penny! It’s also a perfect match to our other Cafe appliances.
