I love this grill!
this is my 4th bistro i have purchased. One was stolen, one was a wedding gift, one after 7 years and replacing the dial decided i wanted a new one which i have now. you will never know it is not gas or charcoal. Very consistent and easy to use. Cooks great and if a part goes back, char broil makes it easy and affordable to replace.

Electric Char-Broil Grill
This grill is a Beauty!! Easy set up. My Condo Assoc. does not allow gas units but when I saw this I knew this was the one, it has taken me a couple of years to find something doable for my back porch!!

Convenient!!
Really like the convenience of this grill. No gas or charcoal to tend to. And, it cooks evenly while you can control the temperature from low to high. Just pray that it last!!!

Consistent and great cooking
This grill was initially given to my husband and I as a gift - we wore that one out & loved it so much we purchased again (even with my husband considering more expensive options like Traeger) just bc it’s so easy and cooks so well! He is a handy guy and does assemble (and there is some assembly required) so I can’t speak much on that but I do even grill using this and we love it!

Just a good the 2nd time around
We bought out first Char-broil patio grill 10 years ago. It finally began to break down after years of use. We loved it so much we so ordered a new one. It has not disappointed us the second time around. We love the convenience and accuracy of this little grill. It’s heats up well and cooks awesome burgers with a great char flavor.

Loved mine
I had one and the coils burnt out. I loved the grill the taste and the lack of chemical starters. BUT it was a nightmare to assemble [I'm in my 70's] . I am looking to buy another but only IF it come all put together. It does trip circuit breaks so I agree it needs a stronger one installed. That however raises the price beyond what I can afford on a fixed income. WHAT A dilemma!

Look down comments for a great hack, namely…
Put a 10” round grate in the bottom and top it with a handful of ceramic briquettes. Do this, and you’ll never be sorry you didn’t buy an expensive gas grill. We have our electric Charbroil in a part time home. We really didn’t want to get into coming and going and leaving gas canisters unattended for weeks at a time. This is a perfect solution. Once the steaks/burgers are off the grill, resting, we toast the garlic bread/buns right on the Charbroil.
Hey, Charbroil! Now make an outdoor electric deep fryer! And a griddle!

Great Boat Dock Grill
Our marina does not allow anything but electric grills at our boat slips. My Charbroil Electric Grill does an exceptional job on steaks, burgers, fajitas and hotdogs. I do not understand reviews that trash this grill, it works as advertised! Yes my Charbroil gas grill at home gets hotter quicker but I have no issues with this grill. My only suggestion would be to bring back the folding side shelves that you had on these in previous years...

Even Better …
Added ceramic briquettes to the bottom to simulate charcoal cooking. Fats and juices hit the hot briquettes and release smokey vapors back to the food. To hold the briquettes I placed a 10” round charcoal grate in the bottom. Fits and works great, like cooking over coals with the coals.

The 3rd Time is the Charm!
This is my 3rd Charbroil Electric Grill. The 1st one was a Blue one with 3 legs for support and a insulated Patio Reflector. I chose to replace in after 9 good years of service with a newer Red model. That model could no get hotter than 325 degrees F. The temperature dropped faster than a speeding bullet once the cover was opened. I gave that one away to someone that could only have a electric grill where they lived. I went on to use gas grills for the next years. The past winter storms destroyed the grill cover and the grill. It was time to get a replacement.
Enter the new Charbroil Electric Patio grill. This grill is a huge improvement over the prior models that I had earlier.
The Grill heats up to almost 500 degrees F. I heat it up 20 minutes before I begin grilling. The heat does drop once you open the cover. I also pit a small Temp gauge on the warming grill and this does hold the heat. The gauge on the top is a surface reader that should be used to approach the grill when grilling. The grill does everything just right. I get grill marks on the meats that I am cooking. Nothing is dried out after I finish grilling with this product. It is also easy to clean if you follow the instructions. This grill means I don't have to worry about emptying gas tanks anymore. This is a real winner! I will update this review when it needs to be updated. Folks remember that this is a Electric Grill and it will take longer to heat up

the new grill down fall.
the new grill looks great. the bad mistake was the insulated upper and lower pan lift out. I had to design the new grill with old insulated pans they did not fit perfectly but they did the job. can cook my chicken in 30 min. so juicy and falls off the bone. steaks sear out side quick and cooks to perfection.

Great electric grill
I have a Kamado Joe for all day smoking, but the Patio Bistro electric grill is a great companion for quick and convenient grilling. It doesn't take long to heat up and I can sear steak and burgers. When I don't have the time, like weeknights, to prepare the Kamado joe for all day smoking, the Patio Bistro is my go to machine to quickly whip out tasty grilled burgers, chicken, veggies, and seared steak.

Just fits our needs!!
We purchased our Char Broil about 6 years ago. We LOVE the unit! We replace our rocks periodically and have had to purchase a new heating element. It still works fabulously and delivers tasty, juicy cooked perfectly foods.

Yes it takes a little while to warm up but its awesome. We use it all the time and if we move Into an apartment that doesn't allow grills this works as an exception to a standard grill. It is also super easy to clean. You just close it crank it up and the heat burns off the glunk

Easy to use
I really like this grill. I have had it two weeks and am happy I no longer have to mess with charcoal. I like that you can adjust the heat. I like to start it out high then turn it down and sloe cook.

Best grill ever!
My wife and I have been through five gas grills since we've been married and just got sick of tasting the gas smell on our food, especially when the tank starts running out. Infrared technology cooks the food thoroughly and even manages to sear the outsides without burning. All of our friends agree with us that the food tastes better than gas. I bought my next-door neighbor one of these grills and he absolutely loves it! We will buy another one when the time comes. Oh, I almost forgot, hot dog lovers - you'll love the taste of your dogs when using this grill.

Char-Broil - Patio Bistro Electric Grill
We have had this grill for the past year and find it excellent for BBQ ing everything. It heats up quickly and provides adequate space to cook a number of hamburgers or steaks or whatever. This unit is very convenient and heats up quickly, even in our cold weather here in Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. Easy to clean and take care off. No gas to worry about, just plug it in!! Love my new BBQ, it is a winner. Thank you for a great product.

Easy, Safe, and Delicious!
Because I live in a co-op community, we are restricted to the use of electric grills instead of gas. My Char-Broil grill is better than gas. The food tastes great, and I no longer lug tanks of propane. It is safer, and it is easy to adjust the temperature. People who have visited me could not believe their steaks were cooked in an electric grill. They raved about the taste.
