Best bet for your buck
Grill is inexpensive and very large. Name brands don’t last longer unless you start replacing parts and they give less cooking space. I prefer a nice new grill every few years,. My last charbroil lasted 9 years with almost daily use

I've had this bbq for 7 YEARS!!!
It's a great bbq. I've cooked on this thing a thousand times. I'm at the point now where I've burned out the propane flutes and I'm on the fence with buying new parts or spending the money and buying something different. The replacement parts are expensive. And some key points are. The open back off bbq not good. Heat escapes fast. Temperature Guage burns out and it seems like I had to use the sear end just to get food hot enough. Finding a sear flute alone to replace it hard. The cost of these parts are crazy.

few design flaws
Just purchased this grill and I find it to adequate for cooking. The burners seem to be tied toghter with a flat band of metal that also has fire coming out of it. The burners have the smallest grease shields ever seen, and they seem to work well with the ultimate test of burgers! Secondly, they made provision to light up the knobs, cool at night but not necessary and need a plastic see thru insert to eliminated knob wobble.
Third, the main grill hood handle is hollow tubing which gets very hot almost immediately. Need plugs for the inside of hood or solid handle. And finally the cabinet has no back wall?
For the money I would expect a back enclosure for the cabinet. Guessing you all at charbroil have never had animals in your grill?

Just put together our brand new grill. First thing we noticed was no back to the grill! I have to agree with one of the other reviews, it's not practical to have an open back when your grill is outside!
