Very happy with my ICE-100
My new ICE-100 works well. I have had it for a few weeks and I have made 8 batches of ice cream and gelato so far. The ice cream maker is easy to use and the instructions are clear. I precool the machine and the ice cream base, which results in run times of under 30 minutes. Different ice cream and gelato recipes produce different textures with simple recipes being easy and a little more icy, and custard-style recipes being more involved because the base is cooked but then they are creamier. My next project will be to try and make good gelato, which has less fat, with less sugar by replacing some or all of the sugar with a sugar substitute.

I love my ice cream maker!
I love that I can just put room temperature ingredients into my ice cream maker and within an hour have homemade ices or ice cream. The best I've made with sweetened condensed milk.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ice cream maker. It's easy to use and not at hard to clean at all. If you follow the directions in the manual and don't fill the tub up past the top dasher but keep it just under, the ice cream well reach the top but I find it doesn't overflow.

Love this machine
Bought this unit several years ago and loved trying different recipes. Great quality results, very easy to use. Loved everything about it. Unfortunately it was destroyed by flood water in my home during Hurricane Helene. I plan to replace it once my home repairs are finished.

Great ice cream maker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace our other ice cream maker that required freezing the mixing tub. This one had a freezer system so you prepare the ice cream base and pour it into the cylinder, cover and turn it on. Unfortunately we followed the manufacturers vanilla base recipe and the volume was too much for the mixer, causing it to leak. We will give it a try filling it with not as much base but the final product was great!! Creamy and a great flavor. It also makes gelato using a different paddle.

Phenomenal machine

It is absolutely phenomenal very quick and easy to use, Excellent quality and best of all no pre-freezing bowls! Big fan of the Cuisinart products I own haven’t been let down yet and I’m a retired professional chef!

Fun and easy way to get great homemade gelato!
After a recent trip to Italy, I had to try my hand at homemade gelato. This machine makes it super easy. Even the recipes in the included manual are great (surprisingly the olive oil-thyme was our favorite).

What a great ice cream maker.
Absolutely wonderful! I would give it 10 stars if I could. The ice cream is so amazing I will not be buying store bought ever again. It’s easy to operate, cleans up in a jiffy, and is simply perfect.

Ice Cream and Gelato Maker
This is a great alternative to an ice cream maker that requires the ingredients and canister be frozen. It's much more quiet than I anticipated, which was a very nice surprise. The machine is substantial, making it feel very sturdy. I'm looking forward to all the recipes I'll be able to make at home now that I have this!

A fun toy for your kitchen
We’ve made two batches of delicious ice cream so far. It is very important not to overfill the tub as it starts to push out the add-in door and leaks out making a mess around the bucket. So don’t assume that the recipe you’re making won’t be too much- especially if you are adding things.
It’s really convenient and nice not to have to freeze the bucket. Machine is a bit cumbersome and heavy.

This is a game changer!
This Cuisinart Ice Cream and Gelato Maker is a game changer! I have made homemade ice cream every summer and dread it because of all the prep, getting the right salt, making sure I had enough ice, etc. It is so easy to make ice cream with this Cuisinart and my family and friends are loving all the homemade ice cream! I am keeping my freezer stocked!! Love it!!

Why did I wait so long?
I wish that I had sprung for this ice cream maker much sooner. Long gone are the days of waiting at least 24 hours for the mixing bowl to freeze, not to mention the mixing bowl always too up so much space in the freezer. It was just a really lame way to make ice cream. With this new machine, it completely streamlines the entire process leaving me time to start experimenting with new ice cream flavors :) I would highly recommend!

Nice/fun ice cream/gelato maker
I have an older Cuisinart ice cream maker, but it was a pain to remember to put the bowl in the freezer to make ice cream...when I saw this ice cream maker I was excited to see that I didn't need to freeze a bowl, just add ingredients and start it, I love it!

The ICE-100 ice cream maker by Cuisinart was a fantastic addition to my kitchen for ice cream making. Its user-friendly operation allowed me to create delicious homemade ice cream, gelato, or sorbet with ease. Its powerful motor churns ingredients smoothly, resulting in consistently creamy textures. It was also easy to cleanup, with the parts being removeable.
