The chart for water hardness did not match my manual. And you need further instruction when setting the hardness level. I felt like I was guessing which option was level 1 or level three.

Super easy and convenient!

It’s super convenient that the grinder is on the machine and it makes mornings much faster to make coffee. The flavor of the coffee is equivalent to going out for coffee. The temperature is hot, the materials are easy to use, and cleaning the parts are easy. Everything comes apart very easy.

The most beautiful Espresso machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was provided to me for my honest review from Influenster. The DeLonghi La Specialista Arte Evo Espresso Machine is allll the bling and bells and whistles you need for your kitchen. Whether you are a cold brew lover, tea drinker, plain old coffee drinker, or an espresso aficionado, this machine is for you. This took me awhile to figure out, and honestly I was intimidated by her beauty at first. I even bought a new wax warmer to put next to her, it’s like she’s a celebration. Even the attached coffee grinder on the top is spectacular. The portafilter has substantial weight to it, and the tamper and steel pitcher deserve some accolades of their own. Extracting the espresso to your liking will take a few tries. My favorite is the frothing of the milk, and I’ve been practicing making all kinds of drinks with this beauty. It is quiet, easy to clean, and extremely durable. This machine will be a conversation at your next get together, just keep working at it and you’ll be your own personal barista in no time.

Beautiful and perfect espresso
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was simple and the buttons on the machine are self explanatory. There aren’t too many parts to clean and wipe down. The steam wand has a wide range of motion so that it’s easy to get a good angle to steam your milk. It does take some trial and error to figure out the best grind settings for your beans, but it’s so satisfying when you do. It took me a few tries until I was able to pull an espresso shot with crema, but it was so worth it. The machine looks sleek and doesn’t take up too much counter space. I’d say it’s similar in size to a stand mixer.

My hubby has a espresso every morning. He says once you get the hang of the machine its not hard to use. This is a coffee shop quality machine.

Easy to learn if you put the time and effort

The instructions are very easy to follow, given that I’m someone who has never used this type of machine before, I was able to successfully brew my first cup of espresso / latte! There’s a bit of a learning curve I think, because I’m not too sure what’s the right amount of coffee, water, milk, etc. but nothing a quick YouTube or AI can’t help with! I’ve been enjoying making all different types of coffee with different flavors. I love that there’s a setting for cold brew, americano, espresso and all that. Overall as a coffee addict, I’m very pleased with this product and I’m excited to try new coffee styles.

Incredible espresso from Delonghi

I tend to use it daily to make coffee for me and my wife and we both love it. We even built a coffee bar around it. Its very easy to clean and maintain. It has a huge tank for water capacity (which usually lasts us 1 week). Overall extremely satisfied

Great semi compact espresso machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good cup of espresso so I was super excited to get this. Right off the bat you can tell the build quality is really nice on this unit; nothing feels cheap, everything feels nice and solid. The grinder works great, I always appreciate having that in a unit. The stream wand works really well when I decide to get some milk in the mix. I tried out the cold brew feature, and it was just ok, it doesn't really compare to real cold brew but it's alright in a pinch. The units super easy to clean, and it doesn't take up too much space; it's definitely not a small unit but it it's compact for what it does. Overall a really nice machine, would recommend to an espresso lover.

Perfect size, great espresso

It comes with a variety if accessories, and is very hefty and durable. I think the size is also great for people who are newer to espresso, or don't care as much for having all the bells and whistles. I love how you can still froth milk and everything as well, this machine has everything I use and enjoy when making espresso at home.

Beautiful Espresso Maker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, this espresso maker is gorgeous and I love how it looks on my counter! I am fairly new to brewing my own espresso drinks so I was pretty intimidated when I first opened the box. Fortunately, it is relatively intuitive and once I became comfortable with the settings I found it pretty easy to use.
While my latte art needs a lot of work, the drinks taste great and are fun to make using this machine! Overall, it’s a beautiful machine that’s beginner friendly with some practice.

Great, Consistent Espresso Drinks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this espresso machine for over a month, and it’s really good once things are dialed in.
The good parts:
The grinder has 15 settings. I think the previous generation had 8 or so.
The water reservoir is large
The grinder metes out the same amount each time - no need to weigh
Brewing is consistent
Hot water dispenser is really convenient
Americano setting is great
Steam is powerful and gets to temperature quick
Challenges
Hard to switch beans in the grinder hopper
It has 2 sizes of baskets- a single and a double. With others using the machine, I sometimes forget to check which setting it’s on before grinding, and I grind either too little or too much coffee - it’s easier just to start over at that point (this would be true of any automatic grinder though)
It’s best to stick to one bean brand and roast- once you dial it in to where the pressure gauge stays around the 12 o’clock position, there’s consistent great coffee. The machine is solid and looks like it will last for years to come. I’m really happy with it. It’s really simple and easy to clean after getting to know it.

My very own barista!

There is a small learning curve but once you follow the manual it is easy to use. It fits nicely on the kitchen counter and is a really nice stainless steel color. So luxe!

Great for hot drinks mostly!

The built-in grinder is good enough to pull a decent shot, definitely not third waved coffee level, but if you're making coffee at home with milk, it'll work perfectly well. I'm not really convinced that the cold brew option is as good as a more traditional approach to Goldberg, so I don't really use it too often to be honest. But other than that price is great and this can't beat an at home espresso machine.

Wonderful machine with a really quick set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ohhh I was so excited to get and set up this coffee maker. Calling it a coffee maker doesn’t seem quite like the rate right word as this machine is a maker of all hot and cold drinks. The setup was way easier than I had anticipated. It was basically pulled out of the box and ready to go within five or ten minutes. Let me tell you the coffee was delicious. The maintenance is a little more than your average coffee machine but it’s 100% worth it just drink something that taste like you bought it at a coffee shop at home. So excited to continue to enjoy lazy weekends creating and crafting new and delicious drinks with my new machine. It looks so nice on my counter and I’m gonna have everything mastered so I can make friends and family delicious drinks on Thanksgiving and Christmas when we usually have lots of people over. I am going to impress!!!

An Incredible All-in-One Espresso Maker

Simply the best!

My favorite part is the cold brew, which is one of my favorite types of coffee to get at the coffee shop. The ease and convenience of brewing it at home is wonderful! I haven’t quite perfected the espresso yet. It has been more challenging to get the grind and dose perfect in order to get the optimal pressure. I’m still trying! I would highly recommend this product.

A little work for the perfect Cup!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love the look of this DeLonghi La Specialista Arte Evo machine. As a first-time espresso machine owner, my first experience using it was a bit slow since I had to read through the instructions carefully. However, after the multiple trials, I felt confident and the time it takes to make a cup has drastically decreased. My only critique is the quality of some of the components, such as the hopper doesn’t match the quality of the machine. Also the built in grinder is hard to clean and needs a bit more power.
It comes with a fair amount of tools that are all very useful in creating the perfect cup. That in addition to finding the perfect grind size will give a consistent drink.
I enjoyed the ability to make a cup of hot water for tea and then make an espresso since my favorite drink is a Dirty London Fog with frothed coconut milk. The frother is easy to use, with a hit of one button.
The instructions did a great job at walking me through the process. Everything from how to set it up for first use and making a cup of coffee to brewing an expresso and frothing.
This machine isn’t perfect but the pros outweigh the cons. It all comes down to trial and error, to achieve the perfect cup.
I strongly recommend this DeLonghi!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely excited to give this thing a try and let me tell you, I LOVE IT. I look forward to my morning coffee that much more now, it comes with everything you need to get that perfect cup of coffee, I chose one of my favorite Arabic coffee beans and this machine grinds them up, you press your grounds into the little cup and let the machine make magic in a cup. My espresso coffee comes out to perfection, the added milk foam thing is the cherry on top I can make perfect lattes now. washing the cup and packer are a breeze, and not many controls on the machine so it will not cause confusion it’s almost as easy as set it and forget it.
I like to keep my counter tops clear from clutter but this machine will have a permanent spot on the counter because it is larger and I don’t want to be moving it around, plus it looks like a professional machine. I would recommend this product to friends and family, such a huge improvement to my coffee game now.

Very impressive all-in-1, manual espresso machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build and heft seems to be high quality, which I would expect at this price point. The parts and attachments are good quality and also look nice. Some of the parts are also dishwasher-safe, making clean up easy.
Coming from a very basic espresso maker, it took some time and practice to get everything right. We started by buying the same coffee (in whole bean) we already used so we could compare apples to apples. I highly recommend reading the manual as it has a lot of good tips to help tailor it to your taste. I also ran a few shots through it with an empty portafilter basket just to make sure it was clear.
The grinder works well and we ended up keeping the factory setting of 9 for the time being. The hopper isn’t very large, but that’s good, as it fits under our cabinets on the counter. Leaving beans in it will diminish their freshness.
The dial that controls the amount of ground coffee is a little finicky and it has been difficult to get dialed in for me. This is really my only complaint, but I didn’t discount my rating since it could be something I’m doing incorrectly.
We use the 2 shot basket in the portafilter and found that it should be packed just ABOVE the line, not at it. Too high, though, and you’ll have trouble getting the portafilter inserted properly. Too low, and you’ll end up with a soupy mess when you remove the portafilter.
Applying the correct amount of pressure (with the right grind) is important as I found out on a few Inpacked too tightly. The pressure gauge will go to the high side, and espresso will either just drip out or you’ll get a “low water” error message. It took some practice for me to get it where we like it.
I really like the machine and absolutely recommend it for anyone interested in a hands-on experience. Be sure to use whole bean coffee (regular ground coffee WILL NOT work properly) and plan some time to practice as there are so many variables to success.

The best espresso I've ever made. One of my favorite features is have a built-in grinder it makes the whole process more convenient. Best expresso machine

The machine make excellent lattes with milk frother. The grinder is fantastic and you can set the grinder to your desired setting to grid your expresso beans as fine or as course as you want. The disassembly of the water reservoir and the machine as a whole was super quick. The expresso shots are perfect everytime. Also, the machine is easy to cleaning. The instructions that come with it are simple to follow and tell you everything you need to know. You will not disappointed with this machine. I prefer use this machine for every single day to save the money to buy a cup of Starbucks coffee.

Now it does take some learning and I am still very much learning — this machine does SO MUCH. It’s so fun to try all the settings and try different things. The machine is easy to clean after your done playing barista. I am inviting my friends over for coffee just so I have an excuse to try making another cup. It’s very high end and looks amazing on our counter. 10/10.
