I actually wanted a different brand but for the money this was a good purchase. I’m new to espresso. I like the crema it makes and the option of having a single shot of esresso or a double shot. I noticed when I do a double shoy, I have to hold the button down longer to get a full cup. This ma chine heats up quickly an voila a perfect cup of espresso. Like others have stated , the damper is kind of cheese is. Overall, not bad for the price.

Brew quality is perfect love how easy it is to make espresso now. Can we talk about the design of linea beautiful it fits perfectly in my kitchen doesn’t take much space and maintenance easy to do even tho I did have to look up a YouTube video to help. 😅

Great little machine
Really like the machine, especially for the price point. We had a much more expensive machine prior and had a lot of problems. Cleaning was a pain, this machine is so easy to clean. You save so much money from going to coffee shops. Fun to learn to do it at home on your own.

Say goodbye to expensive coffee houses!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sleek & compact DēLonghi Linea Classic espresso machine is a home run! The large water reservoir provides ample storage to last all week. Pulling perfect shots are a breeze with the included double walled baskets.
I would recommend buying a bottomless portofilter basket (sold separately) so you can see your beautiful extraction in real-time & really dial-in your technique!
This has ruined coffee houses for me (personally) as I can make much better latte's right at home.

Beautiful machine

The machine has the option for single or double espresso. There is a milk frother on the right hand side. The water tank on the back is removable which makes for easy cleaning and filling, that's probably my favorite part! It's such a compact size that it really won't take up much space. I love this machine, my boyfriend loves it more.

A simplistic yet feature rich machine, the EM450 i
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeLonghi EM450 is a feature rich espresso machine that's easy to use. Having owned multiple espresso machines at varying price points, I was immediately impressed by the consistency by which it makes each shot of espresso, the crema that always forms (which as any espresso drinker knows is key to the experience), and the simplicity of the machine overall. I was also quite impressed by how easily and consistently I was able to froth milk with the included frother, and the size of the water reservoir which allowed me to go more shots than I can remember before having to refill. Without naming the competitor brand that I regularly use, I will say this has entirely replaced that well known and respected mid-level machine, which left me pleasantly surprised as I had not previously used a DeLonghi machine. Overall I am very impressed with this espresso maker and will continue to use it on a regular basis for a variety of espresso related drinks.

Upon reading the instructions, figured it was easy enough to set up and get going and I was correct. Was super easy to start up and begin the process of making some hopefully good coffee! Well each cup I made came out absolutely delicious! I love how versatile this machine is, I can either make a simple iced coffee or if I’m feeling up to it can make an espresso or latte. This machine is also a breeze to clean. It does take up a bit extra counter space, but it was totally worth doing some slight rearranging especially with how savvy this machine is!

Easy to use but loud

The instructions were clear but could have been clearer—I kept wondering if I was doing it right, especially steaming the milk. I appreciated the instructions on how to make my coffee even hotter. I made two lattes easily and they were good! I did have to google how much milk to use because the recommended measurement is in millimeters and ounces. Something to note is that you will need to use shorter mugs to ensure that they fit. This is not a quiet machine and I would not use it if I were trying not to wake a baby, etc. I do look forward to using it again in the future and looking cool having it on my counter! I received the DeLonghi Linea Classic Espresso Machine in exchange for my honest review.
