super for entry level
it's my first espresso machine, chose it because of compact and slick design, all seems great to far, plastic tool/spoon is ok, but as many reviews stated better have a proper metallic one

It's a workhorse!
This is my 3rd Dedica Manual Espresso Machine. The original one from about 7 years ago is still working perfectly, but I recently gave it to my daughter. The second one is going to a vacation home and the new one is for my everyday use. Love love love it! It’s a workhorse!

a basic design that does the job!
We bought this machine to take along on vacations. It’s a great little machine if you know what you’re doing with espresso machines. It makes a great shot and does a decent job steaming the milk. As with any espresso the outcome is largely dependent on the grinder…we have a small conical burr grinder we take with us to accompany the setup. This is at a great price point compared with other high quality machines. Please don’t expect anything fancy here…it’s just a basic design that and takes up a small amount of space on the counter…does the job if you know what you’re doing!

This is the first espresso machine we purchased for our family and it is great. We did have to buy a weighted press, but the plastic tool that came with it would o fine.

This is the third DeLonghi espresso machine I’ve owned over many, many, years as well as other DeLonghi products. I'm always happy with the espresso, no reason to change. Good price and it makes a good espresso.

Good for what it is.
If you are looking for an espresso machine that makes espresso and can steam/froth milk, and doesn't take a lot of counter space then this is great. I make one cappuccino in the morning, and the process takes about 4-5 minutes. It's a nice time to slow down and be present.
The espresso isn't metered, so you have to turn off the water when you have the right amount. If you walk away while it's brewing, it will overflow and ruin the drink.
If you just want to push a button and have coffee, get a different machine. If you're willing to go through the steps to make a cup and enjoy the process, this is perfect.
A friend has the plastic version, we agreed it's worth the extra $10 for the metal one!

Glad to have it
I have had Delongi espresso machines for 6-7 years now and really enjoy making daily lattes for my wife and I. I had to buy one recently because of having to be out of town for an extended time. I love making lattes with this machine. It is easy and very good. I really liked the price point.
I like the steam wand it froths better than my older machine. Although I have to make sure that I clean it very thoroughly and purge it otherwise it will drip milk after cleaning. I am happy with this machine and would buy again. I will have to see how it holds up.

Good budget espresso machine
Good machine for the relatively low price. I immediately bought a bottomless portafilter so I have never used the included pressurized ones. I also removed the panarello. It froths milk quite well. Bottom line is it makes really tasty cappuccino without breaking the bank.

Simple, powerful, easy
This is the second one of these I purchased, find they only last 4-5 years. Make sure you use filtered or distilled, otherwise scale build up and it won’t last long. For the price, a decent value

Perfect for my needs
Great coffee machine. I like it a lot. It makes very tasty coffee and/or cappuccino. I’d recommend to wash cappuccino nozzle after every use of machine. E.g 2 cups for family and wash it in glass with water. That will ensure that it runs smoothly

Very Good, For Manual
Makes very tasty espresso, about the size of a toaster. Pucks stay moist and challenging to dislodge, but very acceptable for this price range for a manual machine. Wish it came with a dosing funnel, a better tamper, and a WDT.

Just buy it, don’t waste your time on cheap opts
My husband loves buying 6 dollar lattes. I’ve tried the keurig, Nespresso machine, the stove mocha pot and spent so much money on various coffee extractors that I should have just invested in one of these. He uses this twice a day and no longer goes to get coffee out because his home lattes are better.
