Works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum works great! I have both hardwood floors and carpeted areas and it works good in all areas. It has the right amount of attachments in order to get any hard to reach spaces. It is lightweight enough that I can easily move it up and down the stairs in my home. I have two dogs and this vacuum has no problem cleaning up dog hair and helping me to keep my home clean. It is also not too loud which is great since my dogs do not love the sounds of a vacuum.

Great Vacuum

It is great on the tile as well as the carpet upstairs. I have a dog that sheds year round. This vacuum gets all of the dog hair. I would recommend this product. It is great for floors and carpet. It is easy to handle.

Powerful vacuum cleaner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum cleaner is attractive and compact. The attachments fit neatly into place for storage on the vacuum, and they attach securely and easily to the vacuum hose during use. It is a straightforward and easy to use vacuum. I have hardwood, ceramic tile, and carpeting in my home. This vacuum cleaner cleaned each surface thoroughly and left my floors clean! I used my old vacuum, a battery operated model, and then afterward I went over my floors with this dirt devil multi surface vacuum. The dirt cup of the dirt devil vacuum was nearly half full! The vacuum comes with some useful attachments, including a pet hair brush that I have found works great to remove dog hair on the carpeted stairs in my home. The canister easily detaches from the vacuum and allows you to empty the dirt cup, hands free. My favorite part of this vacuum has to be the cord rewind. It's actually fun to step on the cord rewind button and watch the cord as it pulls into the vacuum! Overall, this is a very powerful workhorse of a vacuum, it will get the job done. I do wish some of the plastic parts of the vacuum were a little sturdier and heavier. However, that is my only complaint. This is a powerful tool for maintaining a clean home and I'm happy it's now part of my housecleaning routine.

This thing is strong!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was really surprised/ impressed by the sheer power of this vacuum!!!! I was gifted this vacuum through Bzzagent to try and review. When I got it out of the box and put it together, it seemed like your average vacuum. But WOW , upon using it, it had honestly, the strongest suction of any vacuum that I have ever owned! I especially loved the fact that when I use it on a hard floor surface that it doesn't spit debris back out and when used on carpet, it literally cleans like I've never seen!! Honestly. For the price point, this thing is a definite gem!!! I would buy it over and over again!!!!

Pretty solid vacuum for a pet heavy house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly concerned when putting together the vacuum considering how simple and straightforward it seemed. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the Multi-Surface Rewind Upright Vacuum is at picking up pet hair, dander, and other dust and dirt. It fills up the canister well and is easy to dump out. The attachments also work pretty well. The cord rewind is also a good function for storage capability. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely Love, love, love this product!!! Easy setup. The suction is fabulous which leaves the carpeting looking like brand new! The attachments are great--so easy to attach and use--on stairs , in corners, under hard to get areas. Although I Love this new feature, I would have liked the cord release to be a little faster-maybe after more use. This is by far my favorite vacuum yet. I like the size and weight - easier to store and move around, especially up and down stairs. I would most definitely buy this product and without a doubt recommend to friends and family. I love this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For quite a while now I have been using battery operated devices and I forgot how nice the corded ones operate. I was able to comple the job entirely without having to stop and charge it. The attachments are easy to use and always with you so I didn't have to go back to get one. The cord rewind was great and it was very easy to empty. I would advise everyone to run out and get this.

"It Sucks"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Dirt Devil. The chord is nice and long and it makes it super easy that with a push of a button it rolls up by itself. With the Dirt Devil I found myself able to do an entire room and sometimes start into another room all without having to change outlets. A durable hose is important to help clean the hard to reach webs and tight spaces. I just received the vacuum yesterday so I cannot attest to the long lasting durability of it but it feels like a great quality and made my dusting rounds today a breeze. it came with "pet" attachment and it's amazing. I vacuumed my steps today with that attachment, it worked very well. The vacuum has just enough weight to feel like it's built to last and it has amazing suction power that you can definitely feel when pushing but I did my entire house today - including carrying the unit up the stairs while cleaning them - and carrying the vacuum by the handle while using the hose to clean all along the trim and ceilings and I have no complaints about the weight. So the bottom line is so far I'm very impressed with this vacuum. "IT SUCKS"!!!

Perfect on both carpet and hardwood floors!

I just moved into a new home, it has hardwood floors throughout. The sweeper I owned did not have a setting for bare wood so I was excited to get the Dirt Devil Multi Service Vacuum. Perfect timing! The Dirt Devil vacuum has several settings including bare floor. The vacuum works really well on my hardwood floors. I have a cat and she sheds quite a bit. The vacuum picks up every hair, so much better than using a broom. I like how the vacuum swivels so easily. It does not feel like a workout! My favorite thing about the vacuum is the attachment that cleans upholstery (not sure that is the intended purpose). It works like a charm cleaning pet hair off my furniture. It works quick too. I will wrap up this review by saying this is a great vacuum at a great price and I definitely would recommend it.

It has amazing quality, the design look great and the size is pretty nice, because it doesn't really take a lot of space to store. I really love to use this vacuum on multiple surfaces like carpet and hard floors, both area just wonderful with this product. It such a perfect cleaning tool for me, who have to clean the house everyday, which I have to dealing with an active kid and 3 dogs in my house. I am absolutely recommend this vacuum to everyone. It's 10 out of 10.

I've used this product for about 2-3 weeks now and here is my honest opinion. It has exceeded my expectations in all areas of use! It honestly is the best vacuum I've had that cleans multi floor surfaces as amazing as this one. It's simple to use, easy to empty and has the perfect attachments. I absolutely love the cord rewind function, I appreciate it more than I thought I would! This vacuum is the best I've had. It literally got up ALL the cat hair from my favorite black rug-no other vacuum I've tried was able to do that!! With that said I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The initial setup was really simple. This vacuum has great suction power and easily picked up the dog hair from my carpets. The first time emptying, the button was tough to release, but the more we used it the easier it was. I absolutely love that I can easily switch the vacuum for use on carpet to use on hardwood. I love the long wand for cleaning along baseboards, but was a little difficult for cleaning the steps. The Cord Rewind feature is great and after my teenager used the vacuum the cord wasn't haphazardly wrapped around the vacuum and was actually rewound properly. Our last lightweight, multi surface vacuum left us wanting in the suction power and carpet cleaning, this vacuum knocked it out of the park, not only is it light weight but it's cleaning power left my carpet looking like new. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first ever Dirt Devil product to try and I was very impressed. The automatic cord rewind is an absolute lifesaver! I do notice, when it gets to about a foot of the cord left, it needs a little help to make sure all the cord gets back in. For the size of this vacuum, I found it to be very lightweight which is great for carrying it up and down the stairs for me! Worked great on my heavy pile carpet along with my hard floors for the kitchen. I did receive this vacuum in exchange for my honest review.

Super picker upper!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Multi-Surface Rewind Upright Vacuum free to try it and provide an honest review. I have a combination of engineered wood flooring and carpet in my house so I need a multi-surface vacuum to properly clean. This vacuum is amazing! I thought my carpets were clean but this vacuum picked up a monumental amount of dog hair and dirt that I didn't even know was there. One vacuum of a bedroom carpet filled the canister 1/2 full and it's not a small canister! On to the wood flooring...I was worried about the head of the vacuum being too big to fit under the edge of the couch and wire rack stands resulting in dust bunnies left behind. I didn't need to worry as the suction on this vacuum is strong enough to pull the dust bunnies and other bits out from the edge of the couch and the wire racks. I have several throw rugs (3' x 5' and 2' x 3') and the vacuum doesn't suck up the larger rugs but it did want to suck up the smaller size throw rugs. I used the attachments to give our van a good cleaning - lots of nooks and crannies to clean out and this vacuum did not disappoint! The suction was excellent and I spent less time than usual vacuuming because it picks up everything with a once over. It was easy to switch over to the attachments and the hose is long enough and quite flexible so cleaning out the van was a breeze. The cord rewind was a little sticky but I think it will improve with use. Emptying the canister was so easy. One push of a button and the canister is free from the vacuum and so easy to dump into the garbage with no mess. Being able to rinse out the filter avoids clogging and the spewing out dust from previous vacuuming. Overall, this vacuum's performance was impressive and definitely makes cleaning my house easier and more thorough.

Works on Everything!

In a house with a preschooler, kindergartener, and two giant dogs something is always dirty, but our floor has met its match. I'll start with carpet. One use of this vacuum and I was dumbfounded with the amount of filth it sucked up. What was our last vacuuming even doing? Next, hard floors. No more spitting dust and debris right back on my feet. Now it's all sucked up in the giant canister. This canister is great. It's easy to empty, but it's a great size. The attachments have left all of our hidden fuzz balls, ceiling fans, couch, corners, and so much cleaner than they've been in a while. The cord could be longer, but it's amazing to not have to wrap it up. The cord rewind actually works and with the tap of a button it's all tucked away. Another feature I love is that the filter is washable. This vacuum has made cleaning in my house so much easier and in a house filled with life, I'll take all the help I can get.

Worth it!

I am constantly vacuuming my house multiple times a day. I love how the attachments are long and will reach places I cannot. I also like the rewind feature! It saves my back. All you have to do is press a a button. The canister is large enough I do not have to stop constantly to dump it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of if not the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used. I've now used it twice to clean my living room. I used the attachments in my couch and let me say that my couch has never looked cleaner! And the different settings for rugs and the bare floor are honestly a life saver, I definitely won't be using the broom again because the bare wood setting does a fantastic job. Then as for cleaning. Its a breeze! it's soooo much easy all you gotta do is dump out the canister and give it a quick wipe down if you wanna keep it super clean. My only complaint is that I find the hose for the handheld piece to be a little short and it can make it a little inconvenient when trying to reach specific areas but the long chord makes up for that. Plus the rewind feature for the cord makes it so much easier to wrap up, now I don't have to deal with tangled cords. Overall this vacuums getting a 5 outta 5 from me cause its amazing!

Wonderful product

It has great suction, the attachments are convenient and very easy to attach to the vacuum, it's lightweight and therefore easy to lug up and down stairs, picks of pet hair with no problem at all, the rewind cord is awesome. You can press a button and it quickly and effectively returns naval to the product and it's also very easy to empty. 10/10 would recommend.

Dirt Devil Multi-Surface Rewind Upright Vacuum

This vacuum is easy to use the attachments and empty the dirt cup. I used it on multiple surfaces in my home (carpet and hard floors). It collected a lot of dirt (see photo).
