Dual Fuel Range Installation Service

• Bring the dual fuel range into your home and place it in its proper spot
• Remove packing materials
• For an additional fee, we'll haul away your old range if it's already been disconnected

• Safely disconnect your old range
• Bring the range into your home and place it in its proper spot
• Connect a new gas flex connection kit to your existing code-compliant gas shutoff valve (shut off valve must be within 4 ft. of the gas range)
• Connect the electrical cord to an existing code-compliant electrical outlet
• Remove packing materials

For an additional cost, we can do the following:

• Haul away your old range
• Install a downdraft vent (requires survey)
• Convert your range to LP gas (conversion kit sold separately)

Depending on your existing plumbing, the following may be necessary:

• Aluminum wiring conversion with outlet
• 4 wire or 3 wire 240V cord

Unfortunately we cannot do any of the following:

• Cut into existing counters or cabinets
• Cut into Corian, stone, tile or other types of countertops
• Drill into stone or tile floors
• Install a Natural or LP gas shutoff valve 
• Add, run, or relocate gas line
• Add, run, or relocate electric line (outlet)
• Do a direct-wired installation

• Purchase of new gas flex connection kit at additional cost  
• Purchase of new four-foot range cord at additional cost   
• An existing code-compliant 240V outlet within 4 feet of your range's back panel
• An existing code-compliant gas line with functional shutoff valve within 4 feet of your range's back panel
• Please note that direct-wired installations are prohibited

• The range's power cord can reach an outlet up to four feet away. If the distance between your range's spot and these connections is greater, you'll need to purchase an extended-length cord before your new range can be connected.
• The range's gas shutoff valve must be behind your range and within four feet.
• Clear your range's path, and make sure your doorways, hallways, and stairways are wide enough to allow your range to pass through.
• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 must be present in your home to accept the delivery.
• Clear the area of any clutter, debris or dust, and secure any pets.

• Your range will be delivered curbside at your home with no installation or in-home placement.
• Kindly note that this is the only option for delivery addresses outside of the P.C. Richard & Son local area.
• Unfortunately haul-away is not an option for freight deliveries.

• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 (19 in Nebraska or Alabama) must be present in your home to accept the delivery.
• Have a hand truck ready to move your range, and make sure at least one more person is around to help.
