Great features
I really like this vacuum on my wood floors, I can not believe how much it picks up. I can vacuum under beds, tv stand, and all the hard to reach places.. Wish I would of bought it sooner. Very Happy.

Its great but you're sold out of the stand which sucks. BTW - 3 of the 4 air purifiers I bought from you make loud annoying noises. Stick to making vacuums..

best Dyson yet
This is my fourth Dyson and by far the best. It's heavy duty in every sense. Its the first Dyson that I feel really vacuums carpet well. The hard floor attachment is fantastic. The furniture hair screw attachment works so well, even gets the dog hair out of the car. I like that they got rid of the trigger - the button on the back is way better and easier to operate. The battery life is really good and I like seeing the filtration stats even tho they aren't necessary. This model is a bit heavy but thats the tradeoff for being heavy duty

Premium vacuum
Everything about this vacuum is premium! The battery life depends how dirty the room is. I love how it tells you about everything that it picks up. The attachments are nice. I use the pet hair attachment a lot.

Great suction!
As a new dog owner I could not be happier with this vacuum. After vacuuming with the vacuum I had I went over the same space with the Dyson. I could not believe how much the other vacuum did not pick up.I highly recommend the Dyson

Awesome cordless THE BEST!!!!
AWESOME!!! Love every bit of it, I have total 4 cordless and this one is the best, it is but heavy though but I love the large motorized brush give me a larger area to sweep in one move. Suction is super nice but it does catch or choke on thin or fine area rugs, I just talked to min and it doesn’t choke. Love extra battery so I can keep going without have to worry about battery charge.
Thank you Dyson, you have not disappointed me for last 15 years and you have outstanding customer service. One thing to note Dyson need to change the wheel on motorized brush they are very simply wheel screwed with single screw and tend to broke as those 2 tiny wheel hold the weight of the entire vacuum and I know it will break for me, I have broken 6 times on my DC12 and DC15, thanks to the outstanding customer service, they were replaced with no time.

Great Investment 😎
It pained me greatly to make an investment in a vacuum cleaner. I am really happy that I did. We had another brand that was nice but when a plastic component broke it was time. Two cats provide plenty of opportunity. I had just vacuumed a day prior to getting the Dyson. I ran the Dyson over a 10x14 area rug and it filled to large canister completely. The hard floor attachment with the green led is like a great science experiment when using in a room without a light on. Floor looks perfectly clean, until you turn on the vacuum and the dust and cat hair glows. Dyson sucks it up and then voilà, it’s in the canister. I give high marks! And I hate buying appliances to do housework.

Love The Dyson Vacuum!
I love our Dyson vacuum, especially the way the floor lights reveal dust and dirt you wouldn’t normally see. The Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute makes cleaning easy, and I really appreciate how simple it is to empty the dust bin.
The only downside for me is the carpet attachment. It doesn’t glide smoothly and tends to be quite loud, with a noticeable squeaking sound during use.

Great features

Traded up from a V10. Significant difference in pick up power, nice feature with the built in crevice tool and brush. Honestly thought the Detect feature was going to be a nothing but it really is a great feature. Battery lasts much longer and it’s quieter than the V10

I love my GEN5 detect absolute
I own a Sanitare sweeper and i ran it before running my GEN5 detect absolute. Then I ran my GEN5.and I could not believe the amount of dirt I picked up and that was a with a fresh bag in my Sanitare. I will never go back. I’m a Dyson customer for life. Thank you, Dyson!

Best Vacuum ever!!!!
Best investment ever! Very powerful and for those of us with horrible allergies, this is the best vacuum as it catches all of the fine particles. Also, the green light shows you how dirty your floor actually is which was sobering.

I purchased about 2 months ago. I vacuum everyday as I have a greater Swiss mountain dog and Lakeland terrier. The Swiss mountain dog sheds a lot and the Dyson does an incredible job of cleanup.
I also like the convenience of the cradle and the charging station. It is so easy to remove and vacuum.
It is very lite weight which is greatly appreciated.

Great vacuum!
I had the old DC14 for over 15 years and absolutely loved it but it was pretty wore out. I have a mixture of vinyl floors and carpet so I needed something that would work for both. This has been perfect! I thought my old Dyson had great suction still but this new one puts it to shame. I have a love hate relationship with the cordless part. I love not having to deal with a cord but it does stink that I cannot get my whole house done on one battery charge. I would still buy cordless, I will probably just buy a second battery. The bin size is definitely smaller than my old one but I just got into the habit of emptying it after every use. I went back and forth between this one and the outsize. I will say if you have larger open rooms, than the outsize might be better as the brush head on this one is even smaller than my old one but it's not enough to be a problem for me.

How does Dyson keep getting better?!!!
I took my out of warranty Dyson in to replace the battery and bought the Gen5detect while I was there. I was blown away by its performance. I have hardwood floors with area rugs and have a Golden Retriever and my adult kids have 3 dogs between them that often come to visit. I used the new vacuum the day after my house was cleaned and picked up a full canister of hair. With the light, I could literally see every hair and dust particle on the floor. It picked up hair embedded into the carpets. The stair attachment was amazing as well.
