Great machine
I love my Dyson gen 5 outsize, it’s a little top heavy but I figure at 66 I need the workout. It works out because it takes me half the time because the head is wider. It picks up like my plug in Dyson. I love it

Amazing vacuum
I bought this recently and immediately started using it. I cannot believe what I thought was clean before - this vacuum is picking up floor dust and dirt particles that I now know has never been picked up by my previous vacuum.

So far so good
Sig if isn’t improvement over our V10. Hopefully the case doesn’t crack and the battery doesn’t develop a dead cell like our V10 did. The green light on the hard floor head makes it fun to vacuum again.

Excellent choice
We traded our old model for this new one. This is an amazing vacuum. It does everything. It says it does. The attachments are awesome. The battery lasts a long time. The filtration is just amazing the maneuverability it goes everywhere and the suction is completely the best I’ve seen yet.

Fantastic.
Wow this thing is amazing! This is my 3rd Dyson—I love them. The suction on this is very powerful and picks up the finest dust particles my last one didn’t seem to get. The house feels cleaner than ever before. Expensive but worth it.

I love the "green light"!!
This is the best vacuum I have ever used! It has the suction to pick up all the sand and dog fur on my vinyl tiling and carpets. We were skeptical of the "green light" at first, but were astounded at the amount of particles and dog fur left on the floors after just have vacuumed with my previous vacuum. I also like the fact that we received an additional battery that can be switched out if you find the battery running low. It is heavier that our previous vacuum, but maneuvers easily and I have had no difficulty handling.

Filtration and Sensor are the best
I’ve always wanted a Dyson vacuum and it hasn’t disappointed. I’m the proud owner of the V15Detect as well as the Gen5Detect- absolute game changers. The piezo particle sensor is the best idea since the fluffy optic roller. Love Dyson -my parents are now getting a Dyson gen5 outsize because they’ve used mine.

Handy but Powerful
This is a handy but powerful vacuum. It is amazing how well the detect light shows dirt on floor. I was also surprised by how much dirt this vacuum pulls out of the carpet! I love the display that shows what it is picking up. It is also great for cleaning the mattress on laundry day.

I love my new gen 5 detect. It is very powerful and does a great job. Only things I wish were different are 1. It doesn't have a trigger on off button and 2. It is a little heavier than I expected 3. The mounting bracket will not hold all the attachments without buy a separate piece.

If you have dogs…..you need this machine!
My husband gave me an early Christmas present and I couldn’t be happier! This vacuum is amazing! We have two dogs and hard wood floors and this machine gets up every bit of fur and dust! Very easy to use and love the attachments.

Fantastic cleaning
We have been so impressed with how much better this cordless Dyson cleans than our corded upright vacuum. After running the corded vacuum in the living room, this one picked up a ton of dust from the carpet. It is light, maneuverable, and easy to empty.

Great vacume
I love this vacume. It picks dirtup like you wouldn't believe. Really love the light on the bottom. Let's u see dust that I couldn't see before. It's a little heavy for me. But I have problems that doesn't help with vacuuming.
Also like that has 2 cleaning heads. Both work excellent..it's very easy to empty.

Great Tool For Cleaning
Originally I bought the V15 and Gen5Detect as I didn't know which one I wanted. After trying both, for me it was an easy decision. The Gen5Detect you do not have to hold the trigger to vaccumn which is really nice. They all should have that feature. I did not even notice with weight difference in the two machines. The suction power of the Gen5Detect is awesome. The battery run time is fantastic. Then only thing I would improve upon is a bigger head for solid surface floors to make the job go quicker. I have ordered the head form the Gen5Outsize to put on the Gen5Detect which will work great I hope. So far very pleased with the machine

Hours of effortless runtime
My Debo plug-in has been officially retired. Our home has a combination of hardwood, tile, area rugs, stair runners, and deep pile carpets in the upstairs. AND we’ve got furry pets. The Gen5outsize has the power, the suction, and the HEPA filtration to rid my home of everything from pet hair and people hair to dirt, and fine dust that our very powerful plug-in was just missing.
The canister volume is perfect! I thought it might be too big to clean our furniture easily, but it turns out to be so perfectly balanced, it managed that task with minimal effort (and dang, I’m 60 and female and it was a breeze).
The hard floor attachment with the laser light for finding unseen dust and debris was a huge surprise for how well it worked and highlighted what needed cleaning.
The “auto” function and the top mounted power button are a game changer for reducing hand fatigue, and it really does help this powerful battery work at its best. No more “range anxiety” while cleaning. And for those rare occasions I need some extra time, that second battery provides for all my needs in time to deep clean.
The larger size adds efficiency, a quieter cleaning experience, and surprisingly nimble maneuverability.
Five out of five stars. Would buy this again. DID buy this again to gift one to my daughter.

Great Features
Love the larger head and absolutely love the hair screw attachment for my dog beds
I wish every attachment had the light
Very happy with the suction and ease of the Crevice attachment within the regular head
Only complaint is you must turn the vacuum off and on again to restart the spinning of the regular attachment after using the crevice tool.
Also would love to able to store the floor and hair screw attachment all on the

Love this Vacuum! Best thing i bought all year.
I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. At first, it seemed like this was really heavy, but the vacuum is so will balanced. The battery life is amazing. The versatility is awesome and I am using it every day.
