Happy with purchase
I bought this a month ago and I think its really makes a difference. I have a heavy smoker in the next store apartment and even though it really does not filter well for that smell. My VOCs are in the green so that gives me reassurance that we are not breathing in too much to much toxic poison. We run it 24/7 and the air in my apartment is great. Smells good in here all the time and my dog's coughing episodes have slowed down by 70 %.

"I’ve been using this purifier for a few weeks and absolutely love it! The auto-mode is incredibly smart, adjusting the airflow automatically after detecting odors or cooking smoke in the kitchen. It runs so quietly. I also really enjoy tracking the air quality metrics in real-time using the MyDyson app. Highly recommend it!"

Great for households with long-haired dogs!
Absolutely phenomenal; changed our lives for the better! We have had our 2 long-haired German Shepherds for three years. Since then, the counters and the bookshelves in our house have been constantly covered in dust. We couldn’t go 3 days without a top-to-bottom dust job. To really test the Dyson BP03 air purifier’s effectiveness, we did a top-to-bottom clean (everything: baseboards, books, bookshelves, counters, etc.) and turned on the air purifier (running 24x7). Three weeks later? No dust! The counters are still clean! No dust on our books or bookshelves! This purifier is unbelievable! I can’t recommend it highly enough! Yes, it’s pricey; but if you have long-haired dogs, you cannot live without this.

Run don’t walk!
Beautiful, easy to assemble, at first I kept checking the units to see if they were on because they are so quiet! I have research air purifiers for some time. These machines are top of the line. They are a great help living in the unhealthy air in Dallas area!

Life-Changing Air Purifier
This air purifier has been nothing short of life-changing. I have struggled with sleep for over 20 years. I wake up in the middle of the night and can' go back to sleep. I haven't awoken feeling refreshed and energized in that many years either. I've tried allergy testing, sleep studies, other air purifiers, weighted blankets, cooling blankets, supplements, sleeping alone and nothing has worked that well... until now. I have no idea why/how Dyson has the magic formula, but all I can say is that I went from 9-15 minutes of deep sleep a night to 60-80 minutes, and I've had "Dyson" less than a month. I've experimented with the included fan capabilities and found that I like 0 degrees the best (which essentially blows right at bed level). It is whisper quiet (I keep it at level 3 and seriously BARELY know it's on and it's only a few feet from me due to the layout of our bedroom).
I like the Alexa capability because I'll turn it on from the kitchen before I go to bed to allow the air to be cleaned as I wind down. I love the app that shows the allergen, particulate matter, VOC levels and I love to watch how quickly those levels lower when my new best friend, Dyson, is turned on. While it is gigantic, I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic air purification system and possibly a miracle sleep aid for you!

The coverage is excellent, the noise is less than any other devise and the design is perfect. The filtrations system to handle anything including the formaldehyde. You can smell how clean the air is. The best air purifier yet and I've tried them all!

Excellent Air Purifier and fan
I bought this two months ago because I needed an air filter and a fan. It does both jobs exceedingly well. The ability to change the fan output angle is fabulous so it’s not too strong. Glad I invested as it’s a big improvement in design from prior models.

Very sophisticated looking and great app
I bought this after the LA fires and I’m so glad that I did. I have this one and the slightly less expensive one which doesn’t have the app. I have to say the app makes a big difference and I love being able to see that the air is clean for my family. It’s quiet and chic and I highly recommend it.

Robot Looking Upward
I bought for myself for Christmas because I have asthma and I’m highly sensitive to some candles emitting toxins as well as other indoor air pollutants. The product is so quiet and really freshens the indoor air. When the outside temperatures are too cold to open windows to let the fresh air in and bad air out, the Dyson Purifier Big+ Quiet Formaldehyde will make the indoor air just as fresh. I have it in my great room with the living/dining/kitchen where I spend most of my time and it is completely undetectable while running on the auto setting except for the appearance of a robot looking upward. 😁

Purifies beautifully
Works great. I had a lot of allergies while at home until I turned this on. Same day results. Wish it was maybe 2/3rds or 1/2 the size for my 700 sqft living room. Chose this model because of the upward angled circulation.

Saved my life
My building replaced the hallway carpet and the VOCs were so bad, it triggered my asthma. It’s been weeks and the Dyson keeps my unit habitable, and quickly removed spikes when I open the front door.Expensive but cheaper than the ER. I also like the monitoring app and super quiet hence its name.

Fantastic, powerful and quiet
Was skeptical at first if this would have enough strength and be quiet enough, but it far surpassed my expectations. This thing freshens a room like nothing I’ve ever seen. Vertical angle is a very cool feature as well.

Excellent and feature packed air purifier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is excellent, and it is easy to set up. Pairing the app and adding WiFi was a simple and quick process. Within the first 5 minutes, it automatically updated the software.
It is large and sort of looks like a satellite, but after living with it for a week, it started to blend in well. The bright nickel and Prussian blue color scheme would not fit it, but it looks nice and modern. The wheels on the bottom are a nice feature to reposition the machine when needed easily. You have to be very deliberate when placing the remote on the front, or it will fall to the ground, but if you take your time, it will click onto the magnets and hold it in place.
The app shows a lot of data! So if you enjoy seeing the different parameters, you will love this air purifier. It shows Indoor air quality index (AQI), Particulate Matter (PM) smaller than 2.5 microns and 10 microns, Formaldehyde (HCHO), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and Nitrogen Dioxide and Oxidizing Gases (NO2). I was surprised to find out this level of data.
We have another popular air purifier that has been running continuously nearby. The Big+Quiet Formaldehyde immediately showed poor air quality when first turning it on. PM2.5 and PM10 of 55. Within a few minutes, the air quality showed "fair" and then "good," which was impressive.
I find it interesting that the most pollution "air pollution" within my house seems to come from cooking. My kitchen doesn't have a vent that vents outside. The AQI quickly jumps to severe, and in auto, the purifier goes to its highest setting and quickly reduces the air quality to "good" fairly quickly. It is quiet on high 52 db per my Apple Watch.
The air temperature that the purifier is reading is about 4 degrees Fahrenheit higher than my home's HVAC thermostat, which is about 6 feet from where the air purifier is sitting. This, I would assume, could be corrected with a software update.
Overall, I am impressed with this air purifier; it helps keep the air in my house fresh.
