Excellent machine for hard floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have vinyl wood and tile flooring. This piece comes with 4 different heads for cleaning. It's easy to jump from vacuuming to wet cleaning with just switching to a different head. There is a narrow head that gets into the more narrow spaces. There is a small learning curve with filling and emptying the wet cleaner head. Also, when going back and forth with cleaning with the wet cleaner head, once the dirty reservoir gets filled, sometimes there is a thin line of dirty water that is left behind. However, once the machine is off, I just roll over that spot and it comes up well. It's easy to clean hard floors with this machine and I really like this product. I have a new puppy and clean up after her was easy. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

Makes floor cleaning a breeze!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a week of using the machine, I can tell you that it beats my previous Dyson out of the water! It makes cleaning the floor so easy because in the same machine first I pick up the dust and the hair with without having to wrestle my hair out of the roller because of the new detangling feature and then I attach the wet mop to it and in minutes my whole place is clean !
It’s a very quiet operation, especially compared to other Dysons that I’ve used. Also, the new digital display is really cool looking. It tells you how much battery, and how much water is left although you can get a sense of that by looking straight at the reservoir and also keeping it fully charged between uses. Also, the safety roller stops if it catches the edge of a carpet or some fabric.
The vacuum has some smart technology too, and I was able to notice the increased suction for areas that really needed extra suction!
It comes with even more vacuum heads and attachments, which I have not yet used. I’ve cleaned my place a couple of times so far with just these two pieces and I’m very happy with the results.
My recommendation: First, use the big vacuum head with a detangling comb in all the areas you want to clean. Then empty the dust bin and change to the wet, dry mop head. I put a few drops of Fabuloso in the reservoir, and the rest was water. Cleaning the roller head of the mop is not bad. It’s kind of like rinsing out a paint roller if you’ve ever done that. I used hand soap and water. Once the water is coming out clear You are ready to continue mopping, or set it to dry for the 24 hours. Always remember to disassemble, rinse and dry so that it doesn’t fester.
The mop head comes with a parking station!
With all the pieces it could seem a little daunting, but what I do is I separate the chargeable part (the vacuum with the filter/trigger/canister) and charge it when needed and keep it next to the detangle head connected to the long stick. And I keep all of that next to the mop head in its parked station. In this way, when I’m ready to start, I just connect the vacuum, chargeable part to the long stick and start vacuuming and then when I’m ready, I change the vacuum head for the mop head.
There are really handy videos that Dyson links you too so you can understand how to navigate but it’s really intuitive so just watch it and then happy cleaning!
My wishes to make this better? A latch to keep the trigger on for extended time.

A Truly Amazing All in One!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used this unit now for just over two weeks I can truly say this is a game changer in a home with 2 dogs and a long hair cat! The Fluffy Optic cleaner head is a great way to see all of the fine pet hair that you can’t normally see on our dark hardwood floors and following this up with the Subamrine head saves from having to use the pesky cleaning spray and disposable pads from our previous spray mop!
I am very happy to finally have one unit that hits all of the needs in our busy household! Thanks Dyson inventors!

Life saver!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mopping the floor is always a big to do and difficult to get done with a toddler, two cats and a dog. However, the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine makes it so easy to stay on top of keeping the floors clean.I am very happy with this product, I have been using it multiple times a week for the past month. It is very easy to use, you just fill the head with water and start mopping! Once done mopping you dump the water, rinse everything off and leave it to dry. The roller head does a good job getting stains off the floor, I have had success with cleaning up dried mud, dried spaghetti sauce, and coffee stains. I was very surprised at how well it cleaned the floors and how quick it goes. Also, the fact that I can use the same machine to vacuum and mop is so helpful.
There are a few draw backs, nothing that makes me want to discontinue use you need to vacuum the floor throughly before use, if you do not vacuum prior pieces of dirt get stuck in the roller and could scratch your floor. If you have a larger house the battery may not last long enough to vacuum and then mop the whole house. Also, the dirty water tray leaks VERY easily if you tilt the head at all. Example, a rock got stuck to the roller and when I tilted the head to try and pick it out of the roller, water started to pour out. Now I know better and have not had water spill or rocks stuck in the roller.

Amazing carpet and floor cleaning performance!

The suction power, time of usability and feedback via the display just blew me away. I had the V8 Absolute previously and this machine embodies the commitment Dyson has shown towards innovative approaches to cleaning. The motorheads on both the anti tangle head and the brush head just scoop up unbelievable amounts that I wouldn't have imagined possible.

Easy to use and keeps my home dust free.

Less equipment and one machine does it all. The machine shows you the invisible dust on your floors so you know you are really cleaning up the mess. I have very large windows and my place gets very dusty this machine sucks up all the dust and cleans as well. I highly recommend.

Simply the best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a woman who lives with 2 Frenchies and a Boston. They shed. I vacuum as I have allergies. I owned prior to this 3 Animal stick vacuums which I kept 2 upstairs and one downstairs. I also have 3 robots. I would operate one in main area, one in bedroom, one downstairs. The animals I would run one in main area and the battery would run by my bedroom upstairs. The robot I would and did run in main area. I did this specifically when testing the submarine. The next morning I brought out the Submarine with the wood floor attachment on it. There were hairs everywhere after the robot ran. More importantly it ran the entire space including my bedroom and I still had battery left. It picked up more hair then the animal does. It got in hard to reach areas that my animal didn’t. I was stunned how much hair was still on the floor! The wood floor attachment is incredible! I was stunned it not only showed hair but dried throw up. I have NEVER had a floor this clean. The attachments I used them all! The stair cleaner was the bomb! It picked up more then the animal version. I cleaned the baseboards cobwebs from the fans. I still had battery left. I cleaned between the couch cushions! It is so much better than the animal was at picking up hair. Now let’s talk the floor mopping. Cleaning wood floors is difficult. Generally with pets licking the floors I hesitate to clean with anything that will make them sick. This you use water. I was stunned how easy it is and how dirty the water was. I was pleased how clean the floors were and nothing toxic was used to clean them. I love the machine and highly recommend it. It is most definitely the best on the market. Given the features spectacular!

Great Features/Attachments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another GREAT Dyson product. It is a nice upgrade from our current Dyson V11 animal. Love all the attachments.The wet roller is perfect for our hardwood floors and tiled bathrooms and the vacuum attachments are great for the carpeted areas or our home and the furniture. I especially like that the wet attachment cleans without chemicals as a pet owner and frequent foster parent of kittens. Nothing compares to a Dyson vacuum; I ALWAYS re-vacuum after our cleaning lady leaves and am amazed at how much hair/dust it picks up that her commercial vacuum has left behind. I feel like our house was never really clean until we got our first Dyson vacuum. If your home has flooring and carpet, this is exactly the vacuum you need!

Awesome for all floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this vacuum for a week so far and what more can I say beyond “wow”. The light up head for hardwood makes me want to vacuum in the dark to see how well it does. The tangle free head for carpets is a huge upgrade when we have 3 dogs at home. I’ve had zero issues with it clogging up beyond me constantly filling the canister with dirt and hair I have missed in the past. The mop feature worked so well the first time that I am mopping all the time now. It separates the water dries so much faster than anything else. All in all I love this vacuum.

This vacuum does it all!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dyson V15s Detect Submarine is truly one of the coolest vacuums I have ever owned. The V15s Submarine comes with plenty of standard tools and attachments along with what I would consider 3 main attachments. The first is your standard carpet head and the suction from.a cordless vacuum blew me away. The next attachment you get is the fluffy optic soft roller cleaning head for hard floors, this thing is a lifesaver as my apartment is mostly hard floors. It comes with a green LED light that shines on the floor and I literally gasped at how much dust and debris was actually on the floor. Finally, this vacuum comes Dyson’s newest attachment the submarine attachment, which I think is one of the coolest names for a mopping attachment. The submarine attachment comes in a beautiful aquamarine color and has a fluffy roller on the front similar to the fluffy optic roller, but this attachment has a water resvoir that flings clean water onto the roller to help mop your floors and clean up spills. I was truly impressed with the mopping ability of the submarine attachment I filled it with water and a tiny bit of detergent and held down the trigger and was a little surprised at first by the power of the submarine attachment, it glides along my hard floors super easily and I was able to mop my entire living room, bathroom, and kitchen in my 1 bedroom apartment on a single water tank. Emptying the attachment when you’re done can be a little tricky at first, be careful as the dirty water does not go into a sealed container like the cleaner water does luckily Dyson includes a drip tray which I recommend keeping near by where you plan on finishing and then using that to transfer the attachment to the sink for cleaning immediately. Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum and think it does an amazing job the only thing I wish it had was a power button instead of a trigger as if you’re mopping or vacccuming for long periods of time your hand can start to get tired. However, I usually just switch hands when that happens and am good to go. This is truly a nifty little vacuum/mop combo and I highly recommend that you should get one!

Most efficient, easy to use mop for a family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dyson v15s detect Submarine is the most efficient and easy to use mop I have ever tried. We’ve been using it on our wood floors and I love that it doesn’t get the floor too wet. It always dispenses the perfect amount of water, so the floor drys quickly and you never have a sopping wet floor . It also cleans better than a traditional mop. We have little kids and pets, and dirt is always getting tracked in. Instead of pushing dirt around it sucks it up, so you don’t have to go back several times until it’s done. You can also use it to clean up spills, like milk or juice, and it doesn’t make the Submarine gooey or gross. The dirty water that it sucks up goes to a separate compartment from the cleaning water, so you’re never spreading around the mess you’re trying to clean up.
Storing and cleaning the submarine is so easy. It might be one of its best features. Like all Dyson products, taking it apart to clean is very fast and easy. It takes about a minute to do, then you fill the submarine back up and set it in its tray and it’s ready to use for the next time. We absolutely love it, it works great for our family, and is so easy to use. My wife said our floors have never been cleaner.

I have never tried an all in one wet vacuum and I absolutely love it. The clean water separating feature allowing dirty water to go in a separate compartment makes cleaning more efficient and sanitary. The Dyson V15s detect vacuum has a powerful strong suction and picks up everything it detects in its path. The new illuminated LED light feature allows me to see all the dirty particles that I would have missed with the human eye. All in one amazing!

LOVE the versatility and technology
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had a chance to use both the dry and vacuum sent to us and overall, we love it so much! We love how strong the motor is and how all the heads work simultaneously to provide a very deep clean which is something we value with a dog who sheds a lot.
Compared to our V11 torque drive+ vacuum, the major differences include size, weight, and power. The V15 does incredibly well to suck up all the dog hair tangled into the carpet and is more lightweight. Our dog is a long-haired border collie who constantly sheds all year round and we feel the vacuum picks up more hair than our other vacuum. We vacuum every other day to keep our house well maintained, so the anti-tangle comb is very much appreciated and makes it much easier to clean because both dog and human hair would typically wrap around the barrel. The interchangeable heads are very innovative, especially the fluffy optic, allowing us to see every speck of dog hair and dust we have missed after the initial pass through with the anti-tangle comb. It picks up all the leftover dust and hairs that were missed on our hardwood laminate floors. One thing we would enjoy seeing is the green optic attached to the anti-tangle head as well to provide increased accuracy with the larger head since the dog hair blends in with the floor and the optic allows us to see every single detail.
In using the Submarine head, we opted for distilled water due to our water being very hard water and the fact we do not have a water softener in our home. We initially spot cleaned spilled coffee and within a few passes, it was gone! We could tell it is very well made and the roller has the ability to absorb quite a lot. In addition to the coffee, we also mopped around our kitchen where our dog drools the most and noticed how efficient it is with using the perfect amount of water to clean – the dirty water reservoir showed how well the submarine cleaned, as the water was filthy. The one grey area we noticed with the Submarine was whether or not we could add cleaning solution to the water for a more thorough clean (as we have a LOT of dry dog saliva). It would have also been nice to read on the manual what cleaning solution would be compatible for the model. Other than that, we enjoyed how well the Submarine cleaned the area without using too much water and will be using it often! It's incredibly easy to swap the heads out for a complete wet/dry experience.

The ultimate cleaning machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dyson V15 Detect Submarine is truly a superior cleaning machine! I have a toddler, a new newborn and two shedding dogs so I vacuum everyday. Prior to receiving this machine I would vacuum with my Dyson V8 and it did the job but I could only make it through half of the house before the battery died. The V15 Detect is so much more powerful than the V8 and I was shocked at how much dust, dirt and dog hair it picked up from my hardwoods and rugs. I love how it glides from hard floors to carpet with ease and the machine changes the suction automatically to for each surface. The allergen and dust count is so satisfying to see on the machine so you know just how much you've cleaned.
I am in love with the fluffy optic roller attachment and how it show exactly where dust is on the hard floors. I could not believe how much dust was on my floors day to day. I wish a similar attachment was available for dusting other smaller surfaces in my house or for baseboards.
The best part about this new machine is the submarine wet dry vacuum mop attachment. With two small kids and two large shedding dogs, I am constantly cleaning up messes and spills and this attachment makes it so much easier to clean my floors than to get out the spin mop and bucket. I usually mop with the spin mop once a week and I was absolutely disgusted at the color of the water that I emptied out of the submarine tank, it was brown!! This was just with water and no soap, so I cant wait to see how much more it cleans when I use it next time. One option I wish the submarine attachment would offer is an upholstery cleaner so I could clean my rugs and couch when my toddler makes a mess with ketchup hands.
Overall, I am beyond happy with this machine and if you're looking for an option for your house that does it all, this is it!

Fabulous New Feature!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once my husband who is a general contractor saw the Dyson V15 Detect Submarine, he declared that he will be in charge of using it. He said this machine is professional grade level.
My husband is happy, and I can put my feet up now.
I have had corded Dyson and V7 Absolute before and the V15 Detect Submarine feels extremely stronger despite being cordless even when on Auto mode.
The attachment for washing the floor, vacuums and washes the floors in one, it pushes forward for you and it’s very easy to use. The dog bed and couch attachment is impressive. If you have children and/or pets, this guy kills two bird with one stone. I appreciate that I don’t have to change attachments from floor to rug. I wish I could also wash rugs with it. Still, it’s an extremely versatile machine . Since I have had V7, I tried to use the V7 attachments, and they worked.
Quality of the air is important to me. While the corded vacuum cleaned very well, V7 didn't do as great job. V15 feels not only much stronger, it made the air better and I don’t need to miss corded vac. I just looked at my Dyson Pure Cool pattern and the quality air indicator dropped under a green line consistent. Before V15, the quality jumped a bit from time to time. I am happy to report, the cleaner air is more consistent and there is less dust.

The Best Vacuum Cleaner I've Ever Used !!

Thanks to Dyson's outstanding suction power, it effortlessly handles fine dust and debris. What's more, it's incredibly convenient because you can easily switch the cleaning head to clean tile or hard floors on wet surfaces while vacuuming up dust, eliminating the need to vacuum and mop separately.
Furthermore, it's a breeze to clean up liquid spills or food particles, making it incredibly efficient and convenient.

One Machine for all!

I would either sweep, then get one of those disposable wet-pad things, or drag out the mop and bucket. Both of those options were a pain, and I always ended up pushing a dirty pad around the floor or reusing nasty mop water.
But then I got the Dyson V15 Submarine. This clever little device sweeps and mops at the same time, and it does it all with fresh, clean water. The roller rings out any dirty water as it spins into a separate tank, so you never have to worry about dirtying your floor. It also leaves the floor incredibly dry, so you don't have to worry about leaving footprints after mopping yourself into a corner.
I also love that the Dyson V15 Submarine comes with a variety of other tools, like the Fluffy Laser Slim attachment and the tangle-free heads. These tools make it easy to keep my entire house clean, whether it's tile or carpet. If you're looking for a way to make cleaning all your floors easier and more efficient, the Dyson V15 Submarine is the perfect solution. I highly recommend it!

Awesome New Addition to My Dyson Family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited and intrigued to be able to test out the new Dyson v15 Detect Submarine. As far as I am aware, this is the first time I have been able to utilize a cordless Dyson vacuum with a wet “mop” or “roller” attachment.
Typically, I utilize my Dyson cordless vacuum to do a quick cleaning before mopping the floors. Historically, i have preferred to mop the floors with the disposable wet pads and long handle you can buy just about anywhere. When I saw this product, I was super excited to see if at last my favorite household tool could also wet wash the dirty hard floors.
When I got my v15 Detect Submarine and opened the box, I was pretty amazed at just how many attachments were included with this vacuum. I have owned 2 different models in the past and the attachments seemed more numerous but also engineered better. Packaging was very efficient and the product was easy to remove and assemble. I gave the vacuum a quick charge and was immediately impressed that the vacuum was asking me what language I would prefer! I chose English and I was on my way!
The first two attachments I tested were the fluffy optic cleaner and the digital motor bar. I literally gasped when I saw what the optic cleaner revealed on my floors. I would never have known that all the dirt, hair and dust was present! With that said, I found it super satisfying to watch it all disappear as I went over the floors. I left the vacuum in auto mode and found that it did an excellent job while saving a lot of battery. The digital motor bar also picked up SO MUCH hair from one of my brand new rugs. It was clear that it all belonged to my elderly chihuahua but again, I had no idea it was so present.
The vacuum also comes with the hair screw tool, combination tool and crevice tool. These worked just as I would expect based on my past experiences with these similar attachments. The hair screw tool is great on upholstery while the combination and crevice tool are great for nooks and crannies but performs exceptionally well in vehicles.
The real question here however is how does the Submarine attachment perform!? The attachment is relatively large but not too cumbersome. It consists of a roller bar (similar to the fluffy roller) that also has a clean water tank and a dirty water reservoir. There is a red button on the side of the attachment and all three components pull out in one. You can then fill the tank, empty water as needed and remove the roller bar with ease. Let’s start with what I loved! As mentioned earlier, I have long used disposable wet pads to wash my floors. I found that they get dirty very quickly, push around dirty water and are fairly wasteful. This Dyson attachment is spectacular at replacing this method of cleaning floors. The roller bar distributes water evenly, picks up the dirt and grime, and squeegees it into the dirty reservoir. I did not see dirty water get pushed around and the floors were cleansed effectively. Additionally, filling the tank and emptying of the reservoir were very straightforward. The vacuum automatically detects the attachment and operates specifically for it. I also appreciate how user friendly this attachment was. I found that I likely would have been able to operate it without reviewing instructions.
Things to think about! First off…. The color of the attachment is a choice! Im still undetermined if I like it or not. More importantly however, it is good to note that when using this attachment, the vacuum does not have suction. The product is listed as a wet and dry vacuum but it does both of these things separately. Dyson states that they recommend vacuuming prior to using this product for best results. I do have a different brand’s wet/dry (at the same time) vacuum and have not been overly impressed with it but it is worth noting that this product is not that. Lastly, something I wish Dyson would have included was some sort of drip tray for the roller bar. They recommend removing the roller bar after use and washing it. In the tutorials, they appear to leave it sitting out on a counter to dry vertically. I found the roller to take quite a while to dry but additionally it would drip and get water on the surface it is rested on. Overall small problem with very easy fixes :)
In conclusion, I was actually impressed with this vacuum. It has come a LONG WAY since I purchased my first cordless Dyson. You can feel the power and energy in your hand every time you press and release the button. It has numerous modes depending on your needs and depicts on a color screen how effective your cleaning has gone. The attachments are all amazing and I am so impressed that this “kit” is so thoroughly thought out. With the inclusion of the submarine attachment, this product continues to be the ultimate dirt buster in homes. I foresee myself using this numerous times a week.

Great quiet and good feature machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this machine a week ago and so far it’s been a good machine. It’s quiet it works sucks up a lot of hair and dirt better then the v11 does. However on that note you have to keep dumping the canister which I wish was bigger. Not a major design flaw just don’t want to dump it as much. As far as the submarine head that seems to do a very awesome job of cleaning up wet spots on the floor but again I wish the clean and dirty waters heads were a tad bigger. I alap love the fact that this worked with my floor-dok that my v11 used which really made me happy. The only down fall I see with this machine thou is the battery life. It doesn’t give you 60 minutes of clean time on hard wood floors. I got an max of 40 minutes. Maybe it should come with a second battery and that would help a lot. Overall thou would I buy this product if giving the option sure. It’s powerful and quiet has some nice features such as the detangle head and that I like a lot.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for a week. Vacuum is definitely on par with what I have experienced with other dyson vacuums. I love the non tangle roll having long hair myself and a dog and cat. The light on the other head roller is especially helpful for making sure get everything under the couch and bookshelves. The wet mop attachment was great for helping keep floors everyday clean. I did find it didn’t quite have the oomph behind it if I had a stain on the floor that needed good old fashioned scrubbing to get up or if the dog had wet muddy paw prints that dried before I got to them. But for a quick everyday wet sweep of the floors it gets the job done. The videos were helpful in learning how to clean all parts of the wet roller, loved that it is reuseable! Battery life is perfect for my two bedroom house.

Cuts your cleaning in Half!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V15 Detect Submarine is easy to use and assemble. It’s lightweight, has a powerful suction, quietly operates, and is easy to maneuver with its many different tools. I was mostly impressed with its fluffy optic cleaner because it works great on wood flooring, allows you to see those dust particles when best used in low light. Another plus is how the vacuum suction changes when it encounters more dirt particles when switch to eco mode. Hairs don’t tangle on the digital motorbar cleaner head but they do get stuck sometimes inside the bin when trying to empty. I like the addition of the LCD screen lets you know the remaining time left, particle count, change modes so you can control your cleaning. When you connect to the power adapter tells you how much battery percentage on vacuum.
Wet vacuum is great with just faucet water you clean and vacuums your tile/laminated wood doesn’t leave any streaks and dries up in minutes. Makes cleaning faster since you can vacuum and mop, you’re floors at the same time. Easy to use for quick clean up and spills. Only thing I would want is an on/off button when you’re using the wet vacuum for large areas. Strongly recommend we have laminated wood, tile, and carpet and it works equally great on all floors.

Excellent for a Deep Clean!
