Bought a couple of months ago and I love it! It does a fantastic job of picking up everything including cat hair. Easy to maneuver under beds and cabinets! Well worth the price.

Great Vacuums !
I’m have bought many Dyson vacuums for family members as well as for my household and all but 1 have been exceptional. The V8 is quiet, works well, and holds a good charge which gives me enough time to clean my home.

Great for my aging body to use!
I have a heavy duty Dyson vacuum that was getting increasingly difficult to manage. It’s crazy heavy, and the suction makes it near impossible to move, or it would suck up my lighter carpets. I most certainly could not use it on stairs. (Truth be told, I hate that “upgraded” version of their upright vacuum). That said, we purchased this lightweight, chargeable vacuum that has been a godsend for me. I am able to quickly and easily vacuum light carpets, stairs, hardwood, and deep carpets. It maneuvers easily and there’s no cord to manage. I’m loving this one!

Great product with one exception
So far I like my Dyson V8 absolute. It maneuvers very easily around furniture and under furniture . The runtime has been plenty long I can vacuum my whole 1400 ft.² downstairs with it without running out of battery The suction is great I haven't really cleaned the filters yet Because I've only had it a little while. Well I love everything else about it except I don't like having to hold the power button down for the whole time while Vacuuming. It should just have an on off switch. It also puts a blister on the top of my thumb area if I don't be real careful how I'm holding it while vacuuming. But it does a great job. The bin is easily emptied, which is nice.

Love it
I am disabled and I love the fact that I can pick this light weight vacuum up and tend my daily needs of keeping the floor cleaner. I have a Dyson Animal also and it takes a lot out of me to get it out just for daily cleaning.

Quality product
I’ve had my Dyson Absolute for almost a month. So far I’m very pleased with its suction power, maneuverability, its lightweight design, ease in emptying its canister after use, and the cordless portability. It holds its charge well and recharges rather quickly.

Carpets are looking new again!
This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum and I noticed that the suction Is even better than my first one. I was able to vacuum my whole house without having to recharge the battery. I’m very happy with my new V8 model.

Good vacuum
I bought this for my MIL. I got it because I love mine(I have a different Dyson model) and it was easy to use. The only complaint I would have is the design for dumping the collection bin. It’s hard to understand and a little stiff to achieve the release. Hopefully it will get easier as it gets used more. She is almost 80 yrs old and has arthritic hands. She does like how light weight it is and it does an amazing job cleaning her floors and furniture.

Cordless dream
I bought the Dyson V8 Absolute a month ago when my last Dyson Ball Origin (10+ years old) broke. I am a Dyson fan and wasn't sure how "heavy" or difficult to use this cordless version would be, but it has been a dream so far. I've used it on carpets, rugs, furniture and hard floors. Easy to maneuver, especially without a cord to get in the way or have to unplug/re-plug. The battery lasts sufficient time (hasn't run out or taken forever to re-charge). The waste container is smaller than I am used to, but easy to empty and clean.

Very glad I bought it!! Serves my mixed needs well
I bought the older model sale version after I gave new pencil vac as a wedding gift. Suction and runtime excellent. Maneuvers are very agile but I wish it did a better job on getting stuff at edge where cabinet kickboard meets floor. Maybe my technique needs work. Emptying could be easier! I feel like I’m breaking something to open it?!! Again maybe me. I am thrilled otherwise and glad I bought it! Very versatile can use on steps and in car etc.

Best Investment
I tried my new Dyson yesterday for the first time and was not disappointed. I was able to vacuum my whole apartment including using the brush attachment for the baseboards and the power head attachment for the floors on one full charge. I was amazed at how much dirt was left behind by my other vacuum.
