Electric Cooktop Delivery & Installation

• Bring the electric cooktop into your home and place it in the kitchen within its box
• For an additional fee, we'll haul away your old cooktop (as long as it's already disconnected)

• Disconnect and remove your old cooktop
• Secure your new cooktop to the countertop
• Connect it to your existing code-compliant electric

Note: If your cooktop is going to be placed above an undercounter wall oven, we'll need to do a quick survey of the installation spot beforehand. Please contact us in advance to schedule this survey at 877-727-1909. Once that's done, we'll schedule the actual installation.

Depending on your new cooktop's size and shape, the following extras may be required for an additional fee:

• Enlargement of counter opening
• Aluminum wiring conversion

Unfortunately we cannot do any of the following:

• Carpentry (such as rebuilding of old counters, old cabinets, modifications to front of cabinet, etc.)
• Running of electrical wiring before junction box
• Connect to aluminum wiring

• Existing code-compliant electric
• Existing countertop opening

• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 must be present in your home to accept the delivery.
• Make sure there's a clear path between your front door and your kitchen
• Clear the kitchen of any clutter, debris or dust, and secure any pets.

• Your cooktop will be delivered curbside at your home with no installation or in-home placement.
• Kindly note that this is the only option for delivery addresses outside of the P.C. Richard & Son local area.
• Unfortunately haul-away is not an option for freight deliveries.

• Be advised that an adult over the age of 18 (19 in Nebraska or Alabama) must be present in your home to accept the delivery.
• It's a good idea to make sure at least one more person is around to help carry your cooktop into your kitchen.
