Electrolux Single Door Freezer

Love the soft freeze drawer - awesome feature! Ample shelving and storage bins. Inside ice dispenser facilitates the sleek appearance of the outside door panel. Very quiet operation. Plan to construct surround cabinet which can easily be done by removing the trim kit that is held on by magnets. Amazing storage capacity! There is not a thing we would change - Electrolux thought of it all!

Love my huge new freezer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This freezer is perfect in every way. I am used to having a deep freezer out in the garage, but I've never had a huge freezer in my kitchen. The convenience of being able to keep everything in the kitchen is unbeatable and has made cooking and storing SO much easier.
So let's start on the outside - this freezer is a centerpiece of any kitchen. I have mine divided from the fridge with floating shelves and drawers and I absolutely love this layout - we can have a few decorations and storage between. Plus, it just looks amazing. Everybody comments on the fridge and freezer when they walk in - it's a true "wow factor" to our new kitchen.
The inside is SO well designed. By far the coolest part is the soft freeze drawer. I have a sweet tooth and I love a little ice cream at night sometimes, but I always have to get it out, let it sit on the counter for 10-20 minutes, and wait for it to soften. Not anymore! If you leave ice cream in the soft freeze drawer you can eat it the second you take it out. It doesn't make it too melty, just perfect. This should be a mandatory in every freezer from now on!
It holds a ton but it's not so deep that you can't find anything. When we had a normal freezer it was always packed full and we couldn't find anything, so lots went to waste. Now everything is easily visible and well organized, and the shelves are so easy to move if you need to put in something bigger. We sometimes have frozen pizzas and the boxes fit no problem.
The ice maker is great too. It fills into a pull out drawer so you can easily get ice out with the included scoop. Plus, if you're having a party, you can swithch out and fill the second bin next to it so you can store more ice - but it doesn't take up a lot of space on a normal basis. We can use that second bin as "flex" for more ice as needed. Also, the ice turned into a block instantly in our old freezer, but somehow this ice stays perfect so you don't have to constantly dump and restart.
Overall, this freezer is a dream. I can't imagine going back to having a small freezer now because of the convenience, great features, and amazing looks of this freezer. I can find everything instantly, store a ton, and I'm so happy with my new freezer!

Love my freezer

However a drawer didn’t work properly and a motor fan needed replacing. My husband called and a technician came to check the problems and ordered the parts which came the next week. The technician came and fixed all the problems and now our freezer works wonderfully. We are so very pleased with how it looks inside and out as well as keeping our food frozen.

Awesome Freezer

Automatic ice make that continually makes ice and doesn't take up too much room. I love this freezer and am very happy. I also love the fact if I leave the freezer door open by accident, after a few minutes you will hear a beeping sound to alarm you.

Practical, thought out design and outstanding qual

Love the Freezer!

They are so roomy making it easy to organize and to retrieve food. One of my favorite features of the Freezer is a section in the door labeled “Soft Serve” that keeps ice cream just the right temperature for dipping. Best Freezer I have ever bought

The stay soft bin is amazing; ice cream comes out frozen, yet scoopable! Everything else is frozen solid, but no freezer burn has occured. The ice maker on the inside is also good; we purchased a scoop, and it is excellent. I greatly recommend this freezer (and the refrigerator) to anyone with the space.
